    • The prices event owners charge are a drop in the bucket compared to the lindens you will make at that event. If you cant make at a minimum 10x the event fee you need to rethink all aspects of your business model.

A lot of people spend a lot of time and money making their avatar look (subjectively to their liking) relatively attractive if not gorgeous. People are wearing what they wish they could in real life and can’t due to self image issues, social stigma, the list could go on. They’re buying things that they like. Another reason I suppose could be because they want to draw attention to their avatar and get some form of socialization. There are stores out there that offer just as good of quality clothing that aren’t “slutty” but they’re not as seen or as popular due to the fact that we’re all participating in buying from and boosting stores that sell “slutty” clothes. Plus, in all fairness, sex sells and will always sell.

Though, the reason I keep finding multiple in the same places is because, due to the mods not doing shit about it 95% of the time, they start bringing eachother over.

        If an ageplayer doesn’t get punished on a RP sim, and the mods turn a blind eye to it, they’ll invite their ageplayer friends to join them and then, whoops, suddenly you’ve got a whole pack of likeminded people that the mods refuse to do anything about.

        I really dislike to pay expensive prices for pixel that duplicates by infinity without loosing quality (so, creator have to do it ONE time) but Monso has really great quality hair. Doux don’t. Average at most and really overhyped.

    • Cedar Creek is a good alternative option, I know people often liked to butt heads when it came to FH vs CC but it’s just as nice. It takes place in Colorado in the US. They have good scenery, and their parks are pretty, some have outdoor activities too.

      • Whenever I’m trying to do something applier wise with the Legacy body I’m always guaranteed an issue with the hud, it infuriates me horribly. All of my settings are perfectly fine, too. I’ve never used the Belleza Freya Body though, so I can’t speak much on that, I can understand though.

      • From friends with Belleza bodies, they say the HUD absolutely can lag but it’s at least an easy layout and has a full mod body so they don’t have issues finding anything or taking out scripts and layers they don’t use.

        When I demoed Legacy as an alternative for my adult avatar, the HUD was the worst I’d ever seen. Overly complicated. That and the fact the body is so slow to load turned me off. I’m not sure if the HUD has had an update since release but it looked horrid to deal with.

      • I love Legacy’s body, but for me, the HUD lags horribly. Maitreya’s HUD is quick. Both of them are easy enough to shape, though.

    • Legacy has loading issues. I’m on a custom built gaming PC with a graphics card that’s nothing to sneeze at and tons of RAM. I can always tell who has a Legacy body, they will be the very last avatars to load in. If they ever do that is. Catwa heads are the same. Bunch of brains and pixel hearts when I go to events. It’s a poorly optimized body, both male and female.

You can see where the AI doesn’t quite know what to do around the hairbases and some blurriness where it can’t quite sort hair strands. When I was new I recall people charging 2k to run a pic through Prisma – Ars Amandi Gallery for one – and met loads of cranks using apps to “paint” or Photoshop Actions to create images.   74. 23- That’s because there are two different ways of measuring heights – agent height (it’s where your eyes are) and prim height (how tall you actually are). The bigger number is always the correct one, the official viewer uses agent height. You are 6’5″.

    • Not sure why that got downvotes but it’s how SL works. Agent height is default in most games because it’s the height of where your eyes are and affects your camera, especially in first person. Prim height is how tall you actually are and you should always go by prim height in SL.

      If you want tools to help show your proportions as well as a prim height pose stand that will give your real height, you can pick up this for 0L – https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Shape-Tools/1835986 It’s old but still very useful.

      I guess I’ll drop another bombshell before I go – part of the reason SL is scaled so weird is because of the default camera angle. If buildings were built to proper scale, the default camera angle would get stuck in the ceiling, walls, or roof a lot. Try playing The Sims with the walls up and you’ll see what I mean. Things were purposely made bigger to give the feeling of space.
