  5. 1.) The new comers in Cedar have brought a cesspool of drama. I feel like a butt saying this but I don’t care which communities they came from but it would be good if they went back. They’re even bringing it into the discord server channels. We have always kept the channels as a place to chat up for giggles and keep outside drama out. If the submissions here aren’t true then why not ignore it? It makes them look guilty when the lot are going on and on about it everywhere, getting extra mad, changing names and trying to blackmail people

    • I agree, I’d like the ones who like being here to stay and have fun. The ones who thrive on drama can go elsewhere. It’s not everyone’s cup of tea in some places, so perhaps they can find something they like. People just want to have fun and enjoy things. I don’t care how many alts or how little alts someone has, if they aren’t being used as maliciously, then it’s fine. If someone doesn’t like them, then just mute them so they aren’t having to see their posts.

  10. Just FYI I am fairly certain I know who started this. It is a pathetic attempt to smooth over a rejection. Judge Oneana Crisp is a gay man. Who cares right? Well, no one would care if she/he would stop trying to get every straight man who he finds attractive to quote “Make me your Sex Slave”. When rejected, in a very kind way, he still pursued Marcus and then began harassing him in public. Marcus is an adult so he can handle that, but when it comes to teenagers…. well the plot thickens. Marcus chose NOT to out Judge Oneana Crisp out of kindness when he should have outed him the first day it happened as the judge was very sexually inappropriate, trying to not only quote “get some dick, which I like” but also trying to write another’s roleplay and dictate what others will do in their roleplay so he can get his rocks off. BTW Yeah, there are screen shots of every conversation Judge Oneana Crisp had with Marcus and a teenage avatar. YEP, he offered to make a gay male teen avatar so that he could be with a teenage avatar sexually or adopt the kid so he could be a perv. You all want something to gossip about…. well there you go. Your Judge is a Pedophile perv who uses his position to try to manipulate straight men to have sex with him. I could care less what someone’s sexual preference is, but it is obvious that Judge Oneana Crisp wrote this bullshit because she was threatened by Marcus and also because he told her to no longer roleplay with him and put a roleplay ban pick in his profile stating this. Anyone can say anything about someone else, that doesn’t mean it happened. Show some logs here, you can post them easy. I’d love to see if that judge is really some weirdo or not.

Especially how Marcus and Gray came back to CC using alts, Tate McGregor (pyro.tater) and Declan McGregor (decian.mcgregor) that pretty much resemble the old avatars and RP the same. *sigh* Why bother with an alt, just use your old mains and be Marcus and Gray. People are going to have something to say even if you’re a saint. Don’t run away from your avatars, just learn to not let VS affect you.     • I stay far away from Judge Oneana and if this is true then Marcus should have saved the chats and reported it. If ageplay was attempted and it wasn’t reported with proof then Marcus and Gray are part of the problem too. This story is just coming out now that they were exposed as alts and having other alts. Oneana also showed up in Marcus’s RP ban tab weeks ago, not 2 days ago. People get rejected all the time. I don’t think Marcus’s rejection would matter this much to anyone. I think he is just too obvious with his alts and someone made it known. Sometimes it’s better to accept that alts were exposed and move on or just ignore it.

    We have had inflation for years.
    550 Linden is nothing for a Fatpack and 4 styls, with most you pay over 1000 linden for a fatpack.
    I think if you don’t like the prices, why not become a hair designer yourself?

    Aren’t many event managers like her? Get an extreme high when the event them is known.
    Many of their designers are low level designers, if they didn’t have individual well known designers in there their weekend sale event or Acces wouldn’t be going on.

  24. # 13 I mean, is 500L$ REALLY that much for a full fatpack of hair that includes several styling options as well usually ? Because if you look in other hair stores, color packs range between 200-300 L$ , and that is color packs, not fatpack, so if like me that uses red usually, but also like to switch it up with white, or sometimes even other colors as well for a blog image or something, 500L$ sounds a hellofa lot better than having to buy 2-3 packs at 250L a pop.

  26. 28 – The majority of us do have lives outside Second Life but some of those lives include disabilities and not being able to go where we’d like due to them. If your SL is nothing but drama and pain, you need to walk away from the people and places you’re around in SL. My SL doesn’t have any of this cheating, who is banging who, copybot, backstabbing drama. It’s usually me riding my bike to relax and exploring G and PG places. Maybe unplug from the toxic places would be better advice.

    Regarding access .. i am in this round. had my set up done before deadline and was asked to move my items on the upper row, which i do not like 🙁 hope they will remove the upper booths .. sales are horrible hoped the decor set would sell well…. many people oversee the upper booths. I am not happy but in the hope for the better.

      • ive been in SL for a decade, ive had every popular head and ive noticed a change in his work. theres no excuse for the massive gaps around the head, its just lazy. different “sizes” is all well but it doesn’t do anything than give the illusion of option. he lazily rigs to one part of the head and gives all these “options” to make you think youre getting a deal when youre not. his “size” consistency is also all over the place. im just sayin that hes not the best on the grid, just the most popular because he cranks out tons of hairs. but they do have alot of issues and arent wearable for alot of ppl and isnt worth his price increase. they work great for ppl with smooshed shaped heads but not if you have a balanced shape. his hairs dont even fit the heads when you use the standard shape that comes with the head and thats just laziness. and most hair creators have figured out the clipping issue and hes still very behind. instead of releasing 10 hairs a month he should focus on quality. also making hair texture recolours is easy and takes 2 min in PS so thats not that big of a gift to us, it just makes the huds more laggy. haha i bet youre his kid lookin gf. no one fans this hard for someone theyre not fuckin.

      What i would like to point out most is the Drama and complaints we recieve of Prices and why things are not fatpacks or complain of whats 60L a sale is a sale but complain is all of one outfit is not 60L our rule is Single Items 60L not Fatpacks to be 60L that is entirely the designers option to have a fatpack of 60L …we ask for High quality so we do not get rude customers saying this looks like shit eww we have even had comments of rudeness on HIGH end designers and have defended them so it works both ways.
      Access staff all remain Polite as possible even with the abuse we recieve from shoppers we still show respect and if a limit is pushed we just will not allow that person no more Me as my roles in access i deal with so much and SILVIA always is the sweetest when reached out to and defends her workers and appreciats each and everyone of us even telling to rest if we work to hard.

    Most live performers actually DO work outside of SL. They sing because they enjoy it. They are not here for the money. Performers are PAID by the venue, and some are paid way more than they are worth. I think people should donate to the venue since they are the ones losing money if people do not tip the venue. If a venue books 3 performers a day, let’s say each performer is charging 3000L for the hour that’s 9000L, do you think they recoup that in venue tips? No they do not.

    Some people follow many performers and you are expecting them to tip 500Ls each show they attend? Smoke crack much? If performers are so worried about not making enough money with their singing, maybe they should hit the real world and get a job to support themselves instead of relying on people that come to a virtual platform to just enjoy what it has to offer.

    Those you listed as the “best live singers” a few are questionable. But hey, that’s your opinion just as this is mine. Skye and Spiritled are definitely two of the most talented performers in SL. The rest are mediocre at best. Semina well her SL fame has went to her head and I no longer enjoy her shows.

      Also, 3000L is about $12 US, that’s incredibly low pay for an hour of work. Tip the venue AND the performer.

      Also: a lot of work happens online these days, on all kinds of social platforms, in virtual worlds, etc. Lots of people do make significant amounts of money in SL. They aren’t people who need to go get jobs. They have jobs.

      This comment has the exact same energy as everyone complaining that the sales aren’t better, that prices are going up, when consistently, even the FULL price of many things in SL is $1–2US, even less in GBP, euros, etc.

      No one owes you their art—that includes live shows as well as virtual objects. Remember that those of us that do pay for things and who value the work of virtual artists of all kinds are underwriting your ability to “just enjoy” what SL “has to offer” without thinking about the price of it all.

There are a lot more talented musicians in SL than these ppl, musicians that are way more deserving of the spotlight ppl like Semiina and Steph get. Its been a year since I’ve gone to go to a show of hers and I dont miss her same 5 whiny covers that are off key. whats that one she does for her friend every show and she sounds like a dying goat? But thats why most are in SL performing and not in RL.

      When it comes to tips a L$100 tip is enough for SL musicians. This isnt their job and if it is they need a new job. If you go to one live music event which is usually 3 or more singers and you tip singers, hosts and venue for all 3, youre going to be spending a lot of money, more money than RL musicians make in just tips. I would bet money that one of the ppl on the list made these secrets because theyre all friends and they all feel entitled.

    And if you do feel that’s more than you’d pay for hair, that’s fine! Support other creators who price in a range you are comfortable with.

    • Yes, but for roughly half the SL population not only have they seen the inworld price go up, but the cost of buying dollars which then become linden has also gone up. May 2021 $1 usd would buy you €0.82. That same dollar will now get you €0.95. To buy those dollars you get an appalling exchange rate from your bank and possibly an overseas charge. So whilst US users see an inworld price rise everybody else is hit by a strong dollar and higher inworld charges.

    I have seen Aislinn in several discord servers over the past year and a bit, and she is by far the most obnoxious, spammy, self entitled, stuck up person I have ever met in the blogging and creative community. She tried to befriend me a long time ago, and I became privy to a lot of her bullshit that she would share with me during that time.

    Any time someone joined a discord server she was in for a store she worked for, she would immediately IM the creator or blogger manager and try to start drama. She has a huge beef with a handful of people (I’m sure that list has grown) who she runs to creators whining saying that they hate her and that they will pick on her in the server (spoiler – they never do). She even tried to get one of my friend’s blogger manager fired because she decided she did not like her. Turns out her posts were being rejected by the blogger manager because she was over editing them with the 3D effect and were extremely blurry…..but I guess in her mind that means the manager hates her for asking her to do her job?

    I am friends with a few creators who have mentioned to me in passing some of the things she would say to them. She acts all buddy buddy with them, praising the ground they walk on and tries to get special treatment, then whines about it to the creator when she doesn’t get that treatment. She targets creators of stores she gets hired by and tries to make them her, as she says, “best friend,” only so she can name drop the person to other people that she brags about herself to. She is, without a doubt, a social climber, and not a very good one at that. She will act like you are her best friend in the entire world, and then when you stop agreeing with her, or inflating her ego, she ghosts you and talks shit about you to the next person. She is a leech and a user.

    I have witnessed her throw miniature tantrums in servers before, because people disagree with her, or they start ignoring her obnoxious “look at me” behavior. She was constantly trying to outshine everyone around her. She was constantly putting people down. I witnessed on so many occasions a blogger exclaim how excited they were about being accepted into a store, only for her to try and outshine them by name dropping all the stores she works for, making the original blogger feel like their achievement didn’t matter.

    I too have witnessed her whine about being broke in RL and that the only reason she blogs is to get stuff without paying for it. Multiple times I’d see people talk about how they were accepted into a recent search that a store was doing, and she got rejected, and her comment was always “I didn’t like their stuff anyway.” I saw someone ask her why she applied if she didn’t like the items, and her response was always “To see if I’d get in so I can grow my inventory for the sponsors I actually like.” That is so disgusting, and it puts a black stain on the blogging community to be so open about this behavior. She is absolutely only applying to events and stores to get as much freebies as she can in exchange for extremely bland photos.

    Speaking of her photos, a friend of mine taught her a lot about photoshop and editing. She walked her through how to do color correction once, and Aislinn got caught posting the picture she barely edited herself in another discord server with the caption “If anyone wants help with photoshop just IM me I’m pretty good at it.” She also asked a few people how to get in to blogging teams for hair stores, and quite a few of them told her to edit out the harsh jagged shadows that black dragon causes (but she doesn’t know how to do that) so she told those people that editing the hair makes it look “fake” and that she wouldn’t be doing that. So…she asked for advice and then told the people she got the advice from that their advice was shit. Nice person, huh? She also berated a few people for not following her on flickr…..but she refuses to follow anyone but store accounts on flickr and twitter. So I guess to be her friend you HAVE to follow her, but she won’t support you with faves or follows back? Seems a bit stuck up, doesn’t it?

    The comment about her bumming money off of creators is also true. She has bragged to many people that I know about getting money off of some pretty big creators. See the whole bit about social climbing to see how she manages that one.

    Oh, and if you call her out on her shitty behavior it’s always the same canned response of “oh but I’m autistic.”

      • The crazy thing is most hair wasn’t actually less expensive in 2008. If anything it cost more, you usually only got one color at a time rather than a range of similar tones at minimum. I know I definitely paid between 200-400Ls per flexi wig commonly though. Even in a historical context, Doux hair prices are insanely generous, if we’re going to call them “insanely” anything. He doesn’t make my favorite hair, but he keeps me as a customer with frequent releases and his prices.

      • Oh good lord insane overpricing, Doux is actually the cheapest out there a fatpack of hair from them is 550L, Truth charges that I’m pretty sure just for the selection pack, you also have Tram charging 400+ for a single colour pack, most others charge 300L if not more for one pack of hair so Doux charging under 600L and you get a fatpack yeah I have no issues paying that at all.

      • insane prices… 550L for a fatpack… Stealthic is charging 700L for theirs. Foxy is charging 990L for theirs. Dura is charging 860L (817L w/ group membership) for theirs. I’m not saying I wasn’t miffed when I noticed the 100L price increase (which amounts to $.42 as of current transaction value), but in the grand scheme of life, it’s just not worth getting this worked up over it.

It can be kind of boring to see the big huge thighs little feet, wide hips and big butts with big chests and small heads. Like I don’t care what you do to your avie but I’ve been on a few Adult sims and it seems that’s what every avie is..yes I agree that you can make your avie anyway you want but if that’s the case then why would you want to look like everyone else?

    • You must be new here. This phenomenon has been around as long as SL has existed. Remember the invisible pony riders? Remember duck lips? Remember cankles? The present tramp aesthetic is just a continuation of bad, ugly fads. It’s kind of sad that women of color are mostly depicted as prostitutes in SL (the pics of the Inthium event on Seraphim). I suspect a large percentage of Kupra avatars wearing ethnic skins are old white men. Kupra wouldn’t have lasted 5 minutes were it not for the working girl aesthetic.

    • Maitreya users who complain about kupra girls all looking the same are hilarious. Not for bodyshaming but the quality of the mesh. Maitreya, the mesh you cant put over a 1 on body fat else your hips becomes a weapon, the inescapable cankles and unworkable booty versus Kupra, where you can literally -without deformers- become as skinny as a Mait girl or not to start with. I dont think its us who usually look the same. 😭 Even if it werent true, Maitreya is showing its age and people are beginning to stop rigging for it, its starting to go on life support. Better be ready to get with the program when its phased out by newer bodies.

      • I’m sorry, I’ve played around with Kupra, and you CANNOT be as skinny as Maitreya in that body. The lower body and the boobs are both so outsized to start with—there’s a limit to what you can do even with lots of sliders set at 0. I’ve found Reborn to be a bit more flexible than Kupra, but you still couldn’t ever produce something Maitreya-thin with it. (If nothing else, it starts out rather wider from the side.) Not to say that the body doesn’t have its problems, but there’s not a lot out there that’s well updated and modern and still good for a really skinny look.

      • Sorry for incoming wall- I understand why you might THINK so since you’ve only played with the body for some time. But as someone who uses the body everyday and has made several unique shapes that can be thinner than even some Mait girls, yes, you can absolutely get decently petite on Kupra with some good practice and eye for proportions. For ass size, there are some deformers out there, like the Reborn ones, to make your ass even smaller. You nuke that hip length down, your ass will become petite but never without a pop, slap that deformer on and you can see what it does. For chest I understand. Once you go under 40ish, your breasts will become weirdly flat as would any other body when you go to a certain size, for Kupra that’s higher. Can’t fix that but you can wear Kups instead which has small tits if you absolutely cannot stand a c-cup-ish sized chest. It can get smaller if you lower your shoulder size, the height plays a role in how big they can get too without mods. There’s even deformers now to make the breasts sag, you do that and it will shrink them even further and make them look natural in one fell swoop. I’ve worn my skinny shapes about and have people ask me what body I’m wearing, only for them to be shocked when I tell them it’s Kupra and be like ‘I didn’t know it could get that small!’ People just shit on it because some girls arent good at shaping or curvy or bimbo isn’t people’s taste, so they think Kupra is just that one bloated body on the market that’s hopeless when it’s actually extremely diverse. It’s a shame because I think besides the bimbo tits it’s one of the most aesthetically pleasing bodily tangents next to legacy in how they mimic a woman’s curves in a sweeping draw rather than straight harsh lines, that’s just me tho. :p I’m not saying Kupra isn’t without it’s faults but people don’t give it enough credit as to what it can do, thankfully alot of people are noticing it can be thin or slim thick too and give it a chance. Alot of people arent good at shaping though so they just go for a body naturally small rather than try to work bigger ones down, even if it means their mesh looking….pretty old and stiff. :/

      • Kupra breasts are really ugly on both bodies unless you have an anime fetish, and regardless of how small you can force it with deformers, it’s still a nightmare to fit and rig for according to creators who are willing to say those kind of things publicly and risk the backlash. It’s more work than all their other fittings put together. Frankly you’re lucky anyone besides the bimbo gear creators that popped up doing exclusives for it even bothers.

Which is fine, I personally like knowing that my virtual body would have enough space for its virtual organs. That doesn’t mean you can’t make skinnier or even skinny shapes with deformers + a big of ingenuity, but it still won’t be as skinny as Maitreya unless you nuke your abdomen into oblivious with deformers. (But then the ass will pop more way than Maitreya’s ever could, so… you still wind up thicker…)

      • I just checked out her MP store and wow, you are exactly correct. Obsolete helmet hair, priced higher than creators who are up to date- like seriously? It’s too bad because the style ideas are good, just the execution is totally unwearable. BOM for clothes that no one should be wearing as BOM in the current year… I can give lingerie/underwear, socks/stockings a pass, but the outerwear is a big nope. She does seem to be able to draw, but she’s really bad at translating those drawings into realistic tattoos; they just look like marker doodles on skin, and her one skin is awful. It looks just like something that would have been sold for system avatars like a decade ago. If she wasn’t lucky enough to share a region with Yummy, I doubt anyone would ever visit her inworld store.

        Also, I would totally go for a muffin top mod if it were well done, preferably with size options and compatibility with my existing clothes. I think a lot of people would.

A good rper can give their characters enough personality and soul to be able to make people feel they are their own characters. Though i have to admit, i have been watching the tell tale signs of alts talking to each other. it’s all in watching how real separate people converse, how often and how they speak to each other. and then you get people replying to each other in township and you just have that feeling “yep, that’s an alt.” it’s subtle, and perhaps is only noticeable by some, especially someone who avoids trying to seem too much like alts even though i am VERY open about my alts. Perhaps others should adopt this openness, seems to save a lot of trouble down the road. And if changing his name was in any way a way to hide, remember your discord stays. if you wanted to hide, use a new discord. I have like 6 for my characters, they aren’t hard to make.
