Plus, in all fairness, sex sells and will always sell.

I really dislike to pay expensive prices for pixel that duplicates by infinity without loosing quality (so, creator have to do it ONE time) but Monso has really great quality hair. Doux don’t. Average at most and really overhyped.
Monso has some good ideas, but too few color options, and adding an attachment for a color streak instead of building it into the hair is ridiculous. Doux hasn’t been selling new hair by color packs in a long time; now it’s all colors in one pack, with the option to add on a style hud.

Cedar Creek is a good alternative option, I know people often liked to butt heads when it came to FH vs CC but it’s just as nice. It takes place in Colorado in the US. They have good scenery, and their parks are pretty, some have outdoor activities too.

Look up copywrite laws and art, if it was a direct image stolen for sale, and the OG artist intended to profit from the image, yes, it’s protected. but when you’re talking about the transfer of a digital image into a virtual clothing item, and no logos etc are used, it’s not, though if taken to court, the outcome is more keen to lean in favour of the OG artist.

Never seen any issues with Maitreya and a little weird to be lauding Legacy when they literally spell out letters in their vertexes (and rigging to that area can get pretty weird because of it.).
Legacy’s body is one of the worst optimized in my opinion. It keeps being pushed by people who think the last body made is the best.
I agree that Legacy is optimized like shit, but I agree with OP on that it’s rigging is actually one of the best. Having worked with rigging for pretty much all the popular bodies, Legacy was one of the few that didn’t make me go “wtf.”
But optimization? Polycount? Script usage? HUD? Yeah no it’s fucking terrible in all those aspects.

Legacy has loading issues. I’m on a custom built gaming PC with a graphics card that’s nothing to sneeze at and tons of RAM. I can always tell who has a Legacy body, they will be the very last avatars to load in. If they ever do that is. Catwa heads are the same. Bunch of brains and pixel hearts when I go to events. It’s a poorly optimized body, both male and female.
I agree, I think that persons problem may be with the skin though. Personally I like Maitreya better than my Legacy as it’s easier to make drastically different body shapes. I feel like Legacy’s body takes a bit more time to adjust and even then I’m not fully satisfied with the shape, their HUD is annoying compared to Maitreya’s too. It’s laggy and gets stuck a lot,
I love Legacy’s body, but for me, the HUD lags horribly. Maitreya’s HUD is quick. Both of them are easy enough to shape, though.
For me, neither maitreya or legacy HUD’s are laggy…. BUT the belleza freya hud is just atrocious when it comes to how slow and laggy it is
Whenever I’m trying to do something applier wise with the Legacy body I’m always guaranteed an issue with the hud, it infuriates me horribly. All of my settings are perfectly fine, too. I’ve never used the Belleza Freya Body though, so I can’t speak much on that, I can understand though.
From friends with Belleza bodies, they say the HUD absolutely can lag but it’s at least an easy layout and has a full mod body so they don’t have issues finding anything or taking out scripts and layers they don’t use.
When I demoed Legacy as an alternative for my adult avatar, the HUD was the worst I’d ever seen. Overly complicated. That and the fact the body is so slow to load turned me off. I’m not sure if the HUD has had an update since release but it looked horrid to deal with.
#4- Evergarden isn’t gone forever, they’ve said they’re planning on coming back in the fall/winter. They had been planning on shutting down for the summer even before FH went down, from what I’ve heard. Running communities is stressful stuff, sometimes the admins want a break.
