      • It was about #5 and how the dude thinks anyone who leaves a bad review is a Nazi and Pedo. People even made a video showing the issues with the product, and the person selling it said it was fake news and that they are a Nazi too coming to get them, ignoring all of the evidence.
        Apparently they raised their prices recently too because people were curious about it and buying it while it was low price.

    • sim owners/renters have the final say of who can be on their sim. period. regardless of the reason, no one is entitled to be anywhere. if I dont want someone on my sim/parcel because they use one of those attachments that make a heavy sigh sound every 2 minutes… I don’t have to let them be there. if I don’t like that someone looks like a kardashian clone, then I don’t have to let them on my land. people in sl and rl need to come to terms with this. it’s insane how entitled people think they are when in actuality no one owes them a damn thing lol.

    • As a person that got ban from that store I DID READ THE RULES 1ST.
      It says u can gift the card to other people if u dont want it. So i did gift it since to use that card i had to pay more money bcs none of her things was around that price and her items were not my style … at least not in my likening enough to give extra money. And not only she ban me from land but she also removed all my previews credit i had in the store for no reason. So yeah the system didnt do that SHE DID. And when i IM her she told me she will report me for fraud and i told her pls do … gifting a gift card ( that in her notecard it says its ok) its not a fraud

  11. #9 So lets be honest a moment. When we make something we can either do No Copy/No Mod/Transfer or Copy/No Mod/No Transfer or Copy/Mod/No Transfer. There are is no No Copy/No Mod/No Transfer. If she does copy- you know people are idiots and will copy the shit out of the gift card and build a bank (which by the way was kind of what you were doing). If she puts it as Modify then they are going to change it where they have major credit. So as those that support these content creators that do nice things like giving a gift card here and there or giving those that are part of their group major discount advantages- most of us respect the fact that it was a free gift card that was sent out. So if you were banned for your friends sending you the free gift card…then you must be a fucking noob. Most don’t take the time to read the notecard that comes with things…so on that note…if you were banned for stacking a free gift card on her sim…that is kind of on you!

It’s almost like they checked that the cards were transfer, then roped their friends into helping them scam a creator.       These are the kind of people who abuse the limits on coupons and force their kids to act as separate customers for 50 cents off their detergent. Just because you can find a way to steal money due to someone’s error, doesn’t mean you won’t face the consequences when you get caught. They deserved it and honestly, I want to ban them from my store as well.

      • If each person only gets one gift card, why does it matter who they give them to? Why would that creator care if one person ended up with more than one because they had friends who didn’t want them? It’s still the exact same amount of store credit being used. If a creator gives out gift cards counting on many people not to use them, well then that’s just stupid. I myself have definitely passed along gift cards I received for stores that didn’t interest me. If they are worried about people using alts to get multiple cards, make the vendor group only and charge to join the group. These are things that are easily handled. Going on a banning spree with zero evidence of any actual wrongdoing just creates a bad reputation for the creator.

      • I can see an issue if the ‘friend’ happens to be an alt AND said person had dozens of alts all taking advantage of the giftcard glitch.

        HOWEVER, I believe the vendor systems has a way to ensure this doesn’t happen. SO in the end that’s on the designer for not fixing that glitch.

      • But that is how the vendor fixed it. They saw that it was the same gift card being passed to another person and it caused them to be banned. It was in the notecard as well stating that they could not do duplicate cards. I don’t understand why everyone is getting bent out of shape over the fact they did not read the notecard! I am sorry. I support the fact that when creators send out a free gift card that they can possibly get banned for the passing of the same gift card. Should learn to read and understand the consequences. -shrugs-

I have been to her sim many times, and I was a follower of her instagram account. There were many times I noticed some things looked exactly the same as some other creations I’ve seen.       A lot of people in BR take care of their family and extended family. especially because the cost of living is generally higher than the monthly wage. so $72 USD is a lot of money, and not something that can be spent frivolously.

      If they say they can’t afford it, they can’t afford it. It doesn’t matter the reason, and it’s not your place to judge them, or tell them where they should be spending their money.

      • I don’t get everyone assuming that just because they have a SL store, they must be rolling in it and just being cheap. Store owners already pay for SL premium, events fees, store rent, etc. And then there’s other RL expenses like, you know, food, RL rent, RL services like water, electricity, etc. You don’t know this person’s life, you don’t know how much it adds up.

  40. #32: This has been a problem for way longer than 2023. Years ago, Jig Itoku/PAWS heads were the trendy style, so everyone made their heads to look like that.. But these days, ANIMA are now the trendy style, so furries are copying them. Can’t say I blame them for doing so, though. ANIMA’s shapes are fine but the heads themselves are so half assed and poorly put together. It’s clear that they just slap as many heads together as fast as they can with no care for quality. No wonder Crow (Their sculpt artist) left them, I feel like there’s probably some nasty drama that’ll come out eventually.

    • I’ve been a club host for several years in SL and not one of my DJ friends “forces” me to come watch their set. I will sometimes go and support them when I’m not working at that particular club, but nobody “forces” me to “come watch me do my shit.” That’s not a true friend.

      • Some DJs don’t force you to go, some do… I had ‘friends’ who would throw a fit if I couldn’t make it to their shows. No true friend should force anyone to do something and make you feel like shit if you can’t make it which was my experience. Depends on the DJ I guess. Some just invite friends or their they know will tip well to watch them, not all of them, just some and I say that from experience with some DJs just inviting me because I typically always tip my DJs.

      • Maybe ‘force’ isn’t the correct term, it was what was used above so I’d repeated it. My mistake. More so ‘guilt tripped’ into going by gaslighting manipulators is more like it. Again, not saying that all DJs are like that and most aren’t. I’ve had a handful of ‘friends’ who DJ and would make me out to be the worst possible friend because I couldn’t make every single one of those sets. I’m not friends with those people anymore, there is more than just “don’t go” as every situation is different. And when you’ve known a person for awhile, cutting ties isn’t always easy for everyone as each situation is different. It’s not trying to be artsy or a cool bloggers thing, if you understood flickr sizes and SL photos, you would see its a common sense way to show more detail and fill up space with the product instead of empty background. Some of you have way too much time on your hands and get triggered way too easily. Its not personal, they don’t sit there and think of ways to piss you off or lose followers. Why does everyone always have to fall into YOUR preference of the way the world should be for you to understand everyone has reasons for why they do what they do and its none of yours or anyone elses business.         Make the photo 3:4 Cropped Size. Do ultra high resolution and then size down to about 4k by 6k (something like that. I don’t have the exact number memorized unless GIMP is open). Not only do you have amazing details of what is being blogged but you can click several times on the photo to see beautiful close-ups of the photograph.

        Nothing says crap photography if I can’t see the item being blogged the way I would see it in game in SL. More and more people are rejecting the sideway poses. Anyone who clings to it is just as the VS said – a lazy photographer.

        And like another reply above said – I too am starting to unfollow sideway flickr creators. If we start rejecting these bloggers then maybe they’ll start to learn how to do better photographs.

        BTW, tell me one RL photographer that does sideway poses. You don’t see it in Amazon, you don’t see it in department store websites, you don’t see it being done by the best influencers in RL or SL. So stop making excuses for lazy SL Flickr users.

      • Yes, 100% bloggers work for exposure, because none are actually getting paid for that work. Their work is 100% free in exchange for the item to be featured. And it’s a lot of work. Let’s, indeed, be real. They have to create the style, mind the background, composition, lights, reflectors, camera angle, zoom, just like RL photography. Then there’s the editing. Then they have to think how that pic will get more exposure, and the best way is actually to make it as a group banner. This works in the blogger’s best interest and also whatever brand they’re showing in the pic that made it as banner.
        The store owner might get more sales (not yours perhaps, but others), and the blogger will not get absolutely anything for their work other than the item they were showing on the pic.

But more and more group owners are rejecting.I know plenty of the top SL content creators in SL and they all think that side tilt is a joke and an insult to the designers. No where else in the entire fashion world both in RL and Online does anyone do anything as disprectful as that.

Check out Broadcast Using This aka BUTT. It lets them broadcast the sounds their computer makes. Trust me, loads of “DJs” do their playlists courtesy of Spotify. I mean nothing per se wrong with this as the rest are using comp albums – or whatever alogorithms suggest they might like. (ultimately a real radio DJ is sent samplers so it’s not like people doing this aren’t doing anything nobody else ever did).
