  3. to #8 for someone who is supposed to be a fan of Severus you don’t know much about mixing do you? We all started somewhere, why is it the fans that gatekeep the hardest? 99% of djs in sl don’t make their own music. End of story. I don’t make my own music, I’m pretty sure Severus doesn’t make his own music and if he has started I’m glad to hear it.

    But here it is. The majority of us started as a playlist. And honestly Playlist djing and Live mix djing have different skillsets. and many people don’t hang on Live mix dj sets cause we get to into it and forget to talk and shout out and the like. I started as a playlist as most do spend as much time listening to new music finding things for my set as djing. I who have now moved on to live mixing, would never talk down to someone this person deems is not a dj. Wake up call there are people who do less on Live radio streams in real life that are called DJ’s DJ stands for disc jockey.

    Severus started in the same place. Dude has grown leaps and bounds and Its great to see his progress. But we all can always get better. No one is better than another. You think big name tour djs give a shit we use their music and chop it up and mix it on the fly? Nope the large majority of them have drop boxes for people like us so we can do exactly that.

    Next step in my opinion at this point is producing, but producting and djing is 2 seperate things and I don’t see a lot of producers doing great in SL due it being a high school drama fest. Thanks for proving the point. #8 and don’t pretend to talk for live mix djs. Only those that think they are a god cause they live mix other peoples stuff on SL will agree with you. Cause I sure as hell don’t

  4. Stealthic. The only thing that upset me about their blogger search is we were told it would be open at 9 am slt. I got there early to make sure I could get in the sim. Blogotex did not open for another 2 hours. There were people there waiting that had to leave to go to work etc. I’m not sure how long it stayed open, but hopefully they got to apply. I’m not sure what that two hour delay was about but it was ridiculous.

    • It’s wild really how many people’s day to day lives basically depend on a PC they know little or nothing about. Most people learn basic car maintenance, like where the fluids and filters go, how to change a tire, but the inside of their tower is a total mystery and they can barely manage to do basic driver updates, let alone actually replace any parts or CLEANING. I bet most people’s “broken” computers are just choked with dust and pet hair.

  12. 8) IRL DJ here: you do not have to be a live mixing hotshot to be a DJ in SL. first of all, it is not the same, therefore standards are not the same, and second, SL is a great place to try it out for the first time. don’t let anyone tell you otherwise, your selection is all that matters. and besides that, no need to be picky when the grid is so hard up for DJs, and encouraging someone’s love for music curation is how a lot of them will transition into learning to live mix. if you don’t like a DJ’s style (like playlist only), just turn off the stream. and if you are interested in becoming an SL DJ, do not listen to opinions like this – you are valid in just sharing your favorite tunes, live mixing is only a bonus cherry on top. besides, no one is paying for enough of your time to demand you learn a whole new skillset. it’s just people taking things for granted, when in reality your passion is quite enough.

    • I just purchased their recent release from one of the big events and it did add 50k to my complexity but overall I was at 98k. So honestly, this wasn’t a big deal to me.
    • Another poster mentioned about the forehead gap with Doux hair (which I’ve also noticed), not an issue with Tram Hair!!
    • Also not an issue with Tram hair – Alphas. I do blogging and I’ve found that Tram hair, with all its wispy flyaways, is less likely to have that crazy alpha issue that other big name designers have.
    • And my only gripe: I wish they had some better color choices. I’m not one on the tinting thing, it looks like a bad dye job. I think there are maybe 3-4 colors of theirs I love and the rest are kinda ‘meh’. That’s out of the fatpack.

        The guy I met and then dated said, his marriage (SL & RL) ended.
        But since they still very good friends and run a lil cloth-biz together,

        dropped him instantly, as did she. But it was not good (understandable).

        But worst was him, his friends and my own fucking friends.
        They told me this wasn’t my business- I should simply walked away. That
        it was me that caused the split by talking to her instead of him.
        Where I don’t see the point, he obviously lied and would keep doing so.
        So he and his friends gave me weeks of hell for ruining his marriage and business.
        I couldn’t go anywhere, his friends were really-really bad.
        They didn’t seemed to bother at all, that he was a lying coward to her and me.
        She never spoke to me again, but her friends were very nice to me
        and said I did the right thing. But it was not a fun time. At all.

I know of a number of people who have recently left for being exhausted of being part of a narrative where their voice was drowned out by a select few ‘star’ roles.
        A story that needs people to support it, yet when people apply their creativity and energy, and personal time and get constantly knocked back, treated like shit, ignored….they’re now just clogging your story? I’ve seen people’s month-long story progression flushed away because SR were not approved, admins wanted to change things, new family members added and some removed…there is no community at your sim. It took some of us awhile to realise and when people offered feedback and suggestions, they were either treated like shit, or spoken at with such condescending tonality it verged on gaslighting.

        I look forward to hearing how your story progresses when its just the same inbred family writing with each other and no one else has a fucking chance to have a moment to participate.

Instead, Lee is going around and changing people’s stories behind their back, not honoring the IC that he proclaims that the RoC proudly follows. Their traffic is absolute joke, unless they push spontaneous events, on Saturdays, to give them 20-25 people for a few hours, then it’s back to absolutely nothing of an average of 5. So, how is Lee actually contributing? Salty (SerPounce) likes to prance around like an absolute idiot, thinking he is the smartest man there. The combat is practically garnered to protect the Targaryens and the Dragons are beyond over powered. You can’t kill Jaehaerys, because the moment you do, Salty has to step down as admin (though the proud man probably wouldn’t), and Aegon becomes King (Which will finally kill the sim).

        Giada (Sandsnake) runs around sim and is literally drunk ninety percent of the time, while she is doing her RPs. Which scares me, completely. She admits what she does IRL, I won’t say here, but it should concern people greatly. You’re either an admin and a Targaryen, or you’re protected by the admins as a Targaryen. Jaehaerys is as useful as a Stormtrooper with a blaster. Always locked himself away with his former wife, until she made the “sacrifice to generate RP” (Which failed mind you), and now is a little (and I mean a little) more available to the public. Both openly admitting that they never could get enough time with one another.

        RoC was really good in the early months but it’s fallen off a cliff since Christmas, when you threw out/drove away your conflict-generating characters through a number of various bad decisions.

        It’s not just Jetis, whom you guys love to hate on here. And don’t try to gaslight us about that trial of her character not being a foregone conclusion. You spent 6 of 7 hours throwing all kinds of irrelevant testimony at her, and only allowed ONE for defense, on Boxing Day/December 26 when most sane people were with their families and not on the computer all fucking afternoon. The outcome was pre-determined and anyone with two eyes saw it.

        The whole stuff with Dorne was ridiculous and people could not separate IC from OOC. You undercut Manwoody’s play for control of Dorne so that one of the admins could come in and play a character that should have been dead and stayed dead, a deserter that suddenly is called back and welcomed with open arms. LMAO.

        You dicked with the Tyrells’ strength to nerf them without any discussion, and then went to bring Galhad back from near death after Akira abandoned the character months ago, because you lost both Leyton and Jaehaera. That pushed out even more people with its ridiculousness.

        And then there’s all the garbage to make Henry Frey/Renegade Cloud look like a jerk. I’ve seen the logs with him and Salty and Cat. I’m not sure what other stuff was said outside of that but his direct comms with them were respectful and trying to resolve things kindly.

        And now you’ve been retconning stuff so badly, you’re invalidating some of your best rp history. Instead of just having the king do what he does best – override whatever the fuck people want – you cut up the Riverlands families so that they’re unrecognizable. Who the fuck is Fiona of Gulltown and why was it necessary to retcon Patrek’s mother? What did Clive Piper do to be erased completely and have his RP totally invalidated – also including Shirei Strong, his wife – and made into “Felix?” And you cut out Deanna Piper entirely from the Tully tree, getting rid of Tobyas and Sarra Tully, two very consequential characters, even though they’re all over your lore! And you were so sloppy, you left their brother Septon Barristan in! You retconned Patrek’s kids to be ONE kid and not two. What difference did it make, when you were granting Otto Tully the house anyway? What the fuck are you people thinking?

        The player base, admins included, has become really toxic and some of y’all should consider taking a very long break from this genre completely. And from each other. I don’t know how you all expect people to come together to play as a community when you keep talking shit about people personally out here.

      • I have to admit, “Fire and Blood” was a fantastic run, possibly one of the most well-structured sims since ROIAF. However, I can’t help but notice that you seem to be throwing around bogus accusations without any real evidence to back them up. It’s becoming a common theme in these comments.

        Manwoody was given the opportunity to be the Regent by the King. There was an expectation that he would overthrow the Martells, and he could have had he not left the sim during that period, way before Elyas was even in the picture. I can only speculate why he and his wife left, but I suspect it had to do with Jetis’ ban.
        I agree with you on Jetis; it was a foregone conclusion because the character was discovered to have plotted against the King, by the King, and nearly started a civil war with the High Septon. The trial was a show orchestrated by people on the Small Council, none of whom were admins. Explain to me why that’s wrong and not just RP conflict as usual. You will probably notice that she wasn’t banned for her shitty conduct until after the trial, either. As for the scheduling, I was one of the testimonies, so I can tell you that Jetis herself insisted on the day, specifically so she had enough time to coach her defense. It’s understandable why she’s not well-liked, especially considering how she spent her last few months as Princess coaching players in her region to support her ICly in IMs and exiling those who refused to comply for no reason IC. Additionally, she stacked important roles with her friends and conducted a joke of a trial for Elinyth, which led to Elinyth and others leaving the sim.
        I can’t speak to what happened with the Tyrells, but if what you’re saying is true, then that’s not acceptable.
        After reading the logs on Tarly/Renegade’s profile, I found a guy who attempted to coax an admin into giving him an OOC advantage in ways that made no sense IC. He was respectful until he posted those logs to make Salty and Cat look bad, despite the fact that the logs don’t contain a single line where either of those individuals talked badly about anyone. From what I can tell, he lost all objectivity the day Jaeherys killed his OOC friends. Half the comments on here are clearly him or his friends. I’m not sure that this one isn’t.
        The retcons are ridiculous; we can finally agree on something. If the RoC admins are reading this, please stop. This is something you have had a problem with since the sim’s inception, and it has only gotten worse. You have said over and over that you pride yourself on your consistency, but this is not consistent. You are driving the players you have left away by undermining their RP, sometimes for no reason at all.

        You all act as if being an admin on one of these sims is a life brimming with excitement. The reality is the majority of it is just running from one fire to the next, often dealing with wildly ungrateful people and cheaters who gaslight and break established community rules at every given opportunity, then as soon as they’re done with you they move on to the next sim and talk shit about you on this joke of a website, all while you’re paying ~300$ to be stretched out on a cross for their enjoyment. And on goes the cycle. 

        I am not saying that we shouldn’t hold sim owners accountable if they have really done you dirty. Do. But at least have the courtesy and the courage to confront them to their faces before you come on here to post lie after lie for a fresh hit of dopamine. If the RoC admins are in these comments talking shit, they are here because you people keep making up things that never happened without a shred of proof. Why? You all clearly left the sim, so why are you still obsessed with it enough to know about specific changes to the family trees and inconsistencies contrasting RP? If the RoC admins and their remaining players are toxic, you’re right there with them. If you have a problem with them, why don’t you get in touch with them and hear their side of the story? You clearly care enough if you’re on here talking shit.

        And before you come for me to accuse me of being one of the admins or a shill (as you do with everyone who says a kind word to these people), let me undercut that by telling you that I have left the sim due to personal reasons and loss of interest. Nothing that I have read on here or experienced on sim indicates that most of these accusations have a grain of truth to them. By magic, in that courting time she was the only one to get one on one time with the King frequently. Maybe The.Bunny was right about her all along, as Alys seemed to only care about the admins and sucking up to them. I’m sure she learned that while sucking on Akira before.

        Numbers don’t lie. You can’t even generate the idol traffic you used to of people just standing AFK in the landing zone to pull in the stats. We love seeing Valena in that same corner of the landing zone, and then in her skybox. Same with Maekar, and Giada just chillin in her skybox. Maybe the issue isn’t the players, maybe it’s the constant us vs them narrative you create, while Lee gargles on shiny rocks and tries to save face when he’s caught.

        Good luck with the ‘quality’ you got there. I think I’d rather stay where there’s actual writing happening, not just the circlejerk/clam rub y’all have goin on.

        – after he completely ghosted the existing Tyrell players, he wanted to come back as Galhad months later, and the players said they’d leave if he was let back into the role after he stopped playing with absolutely no warningband screwed them over

        – the admins let this person, who abandoned a Lord Paramount role, come in as an Arryn who was the “Regent of the Vale” and have all the power of and status of a Lord Paramount. He left this role, this time giving notice the player was leaving…

        – Only to come back as a Martell, and then left the role to go play at CoB because he would have been able to be in a position of power at CoB as Lord Tyrell

        – Only to finally come back as Galhad Tyrell, his original character, the head of the region he abandoned, because there was no-one left in the original group to protest, since they had left in protest after:

        A. The admins decided the Tyrell armies were too big/powerful and nerfed their military

        B. Sandsnake’s partner at the time dropped out of his role to be Galhad, and has apparently left

        Quality vs quantity!

We believe that the Targaryen’s are the only role that is worthwhile, and that everyone should just sit down and figure out their function in the game, being a side quest. This is the Admins’ story, OUR story. Everyone else is just watching us have fun while being a living plant.

      We are tried of pretending we are making a balanced story. We only have dragons so we can bully our players into doing what we want.

      Because processing SRs more frequently would not have given our star players the tale they desired, we only did so every few weeks.

        So everyone engaging in this conversation and thinking they are getting responses from the actual admin team are getting majorly trolled, which is even more hilarious. Like fuel to a fire that is just a waste of time.

    • Replying here regarding Right of Conquest (RoC) because there really is no good place to start with all the comments. Every sim has problems, however, the problems listed 90% of the time, are from the same people who have continually gotten called out/caused problems and this is their revenge, to get online and post hateful things, not only about the sim, which takes someones time and money to keep running, but about actual people and their real life problems and issues, be they real or conjured up in order to hurt another human being. Their accusations are rude, hurtful, hateful and just a way to feel validated that they got caught, be it not putting forth the proper effort for their roles, cheating others out of valid roleplay by metagaming, being a general nuisance because they never got what they wanted without putting in proper effort to story writing and continually whined like a small child to the team or ten other things they were likely given multiple opportunities to correct. I went to Right of Conquest knowing less than three people there and any time I’ve had an issue I’ve been listened to, sometimes with a very open mind, sometimes to varying degrees, but I have always been listened to. Yes, there have been times that it has taken time to get a response because real life always trumps what’s going on in SL and that can be very frustrating to a writer, I know because it has happened to me on many little story threads I had out and needed return on, but I’ve never felt like the admin team has treated me as ‘less important’ than someone in a higher role. I have not felt like there has not been opportunity for me to app in as ANY character that has become available, be it a feature role, important role, or no one ‘of consequence’ in the story. If I want something in my story, I go out and write and create other stories in order to get what I want. If I feel something is unfair, I speak up and talk about it like an adult. Sometimes I get the outcome I want, sometimes I don’t. If you’re truly looking for some place, any place in SL to write valid stories fueled by roleplay based actions and you’re willing to be fair to your fellow roleplayers in turn, spend less time whining about what you didn’t get, about how its ‘not fair’, and stop talking trash about other HUMAN BEINGS and go out and make your stories and do the work. If you get to the point you can’t take putting in the effort and not getting the return you think you deserve, go somewhere else and try again. If you feel the admin team are terrible, what’s stopping you from going somewhere else and trying again? You can complain about all this ‘wasted time’ you’ve spent trying to ‘fix things’ or ‘make things better for others’, but the problem in all of this is that you haven’t taken the time to appreciate what you did get: That one scene that made you laugh so hard you’ll never forget it. That time you cried because a character you wrote with had come to an end. The time you’ve spent just admiring and talking about the things you wrote with other people and you truly enjoyed it. It’s clear that you feel you have lost something if you’re going to so much effort to try to destroy the works of others. The moment you are no longer happy and getting what you want and feel you deserve is the moment it’s time to move on. Just move on. Your bad experience may be the complete opposite of something another player had which was awesome. Don’t try to ‘spare’ someone from your fate because it may not be their fate as well. You are in control of what you write, what effort you put in, and how you handle yourself with others no matter what anyone else does. In the end, what you do, what you say and how you act and feel is only YOUR FAULT. The same goes for real life. Take this lesson and move on to something productive with your time because time is something you will never get back.

This shows that most of his groupies don’t know the music he is playing because alot are already pre mixed off different music sites and he just theatrical with the button mashing. He is like any other mix dj. Thinking he is better then everyone .But then when someone threatens him with being a better dj he will pretend to be cool with them and collaborate with them or even partner them and talk the most shit behind their back THE WHOLE TIME. He will even bash his highest tippers and laugh with his inner circle calling them thirsties and say he isn’t leading them on but then when the screen shots come out showing he lead them on and did more then what he says . He then plays victim.

He also will not be friends with people that don’t benefit him.So if you don’t tip or boost his ego then you’re out. But you’re not missing anything because he is already talking shit about EVERYONE even the ones that benefit him. It’s all about those double drops though.       • I have been to only TWO of his sets and even I noticed the shit he was playing was premixed and taken from other places, like soundcloud. Haven’t gone back and def will not after that. If you claim to be live mix, be it. I don’t mind “mp3” players as it was called, if I like the person, the music and the personality that’s all that matters but don’t run around with a giant head as if you special when you don’t do anything that any basic youtube to mp3 player dj can do.

    • He’s not a live mixer if he takes pre-recorded tracks and puts them together, which is what he does. That’s not mixing, that’s still doing the same thing DJs in sl, online, even in radio stations do. Live mixing is using your own abilities, your own sounds, your own equipment to take those different pieces you’re creating and putting them together in a cohesive manner to broadcast out to others. It also involves doing all of that, live. Most of what he plays are tracks others have made, and he has downloaded. He is not actually mixing anything.

      • Not all DJs are like that though, I have several DJ friends whom I have grown very close to whether I can tip or not, it’s all about the kind of person they are honestly. I have run into DJs who only care about what you can tip them. But Off hand I can count at least 10 DJ friends who have never cared if I tip let alone how much I tip when I do tip. And they treat me like family/besties, we’re together all the time and yet I barely tip and when I do it’s not much. Not because I don’t want to, just because I cannot always afford it. So it really just depends.

Turn on the local music radio station in your car, those people on the air are DJs. Name dropping your groupie crush doesn’t make them more of a DJ than anyone else. Live mixers tend to have the biggest egos of anyone I’ve ever met, they don’t need extra feeding. They all sound the same too, only so much techno and rave a person can take.

I was on a sim staff with her at one point and had a minor disagreement with another owner and she took their side even though she came to me and told me that I was right. She’s spineless and has absolutely no ounce of loyalty to her. I’m not really sure what Kiran saw in her especially when it was pretty obvious that she vag-trapped him and had a kid with him a while back. Talk about lack of responsibility on both their parts.

    She doesn’t actually care about products, she just runs around digging into friend groups and discords to get close to creators who will maybe give her just an ounce of attention. I’m glad someone has finally called her out on her shit.

    • Spineless is anonymously throwing shade through unnecessary details of a person’s personal life on a website meant for virtual drama. And for what, the fact that she sided with someone who’s argument made more sense to her – likely after hearing both sides?

      I’ve watched just how hard she works on her products, going without proper sleep like many creators do. She’s been progressing fast and the improvement in her work brings more opportunities, in turn meeting more creators.

      On top of that, she helps people and teaches, sometimes spreading herself too thin because she wants to help everyone at once. This is not the Ketsui I know and it sounds like you’re just salty and jealous.

    • The dj mentioned happens to be a really good dj, I’ve had the pleasure of attending at least 2 sets of his and it’s worth it.
      What is not worth it is the group that surrounds him.
      They are the ones who put him in the spotlight in sl, through good connects, but they will be the same ones who will destroy him in the future.
      This is usually what happens when good fruit is joined with rotten fruit…it rots together and then they get thrown away in the same garbage bag.

    • On the fence with this one. DJ stands for disc jockey not music player. There are real DJs in sl. Some make their own mixes. DJs who just play music and don’t interact at all with the audience are walking sound boxes on sl. They don’t have mixing equipment just a playlist where they click buttons so going around saying they have fans for clicking buttons is cringe. They can’t go to rl and say they have the skill , equipment and experience to be djing. The real DJs do as well as the live singers. They work hard at their craft and share in sl. Button clickers make their years of work look like a joke when they gloat. Yes they do their bit by playing music but I wouldn’t consider them a DJ by logical terms.
