I saw how hurt they were when they were last deleted BECAUSE they thought the friendship was more than just a way to get into their blog and lindens. VIOLET DELETES THEM WITH NO WORD AFTER THE TWINS LET HER BLOG WITH THEM ON HER KID ACCOUNT !!!!!!!!! THAT WOULD DESTROY ME TO. It may be easy for you but for the twins it is hard. They have mental health issues but it’s never a excuse and they dont use it as such. They are the sweetest people I MET. They tried their best and it was never good enough for this VIOLET. She just used them for there money, she never really cared about them. She needs help because for her to think it’s OK to just ghost people is so so wrong. It hurts people’s and can tear people apart. Leave the twins alone. For you to post them on slsecrets shows who you are really and that your nasty people. OH and did you know they had to leave the house they PAID for in a community to give VIOLET space. And they let VIOLET stay there while they went and rented a house for themselves at gooseberry so they had somewhere to live and stay since they gave there house they paid for to VIOLET and ember and THEY felt that was ok and fair. They should have said no and went and got a land for themselves and let the twins keep their house they paid for. Ridiculous.. oh and they were defriended the last time for messaging another person. Not a reason to delete someone, their choice not theirs if they want to do it. Last I remember they are adults and don’t need permission to message somebody. None of violets business or problem. Enough said.

    • It is straight up fucking bizarre that you are acting like these two grown ass adults in child avatars are actually children. Getting cursed at on voice is not that big a deal, for an adult. Losing a friendship after “blogging” together is not that big a deal, for an adult. Being “ghosted” sucks, but shouldn’t cause a mental break in an adult. These “twins” sound like massive drama queens. Blaming everything that’s wrong with them on “SL parents” as if they need raising is insane. You wrap it up with “they are adults and don’t need permission” but the entire rest of your crazy rant you act like they are little kids incapable of handling adult situations and stresses. Fucking hell, I’m glad I don’t deal with child avatars and dumbass “family” roleplay; I think I’d rather peel my skin off with a dull knife.

      • Violet is not a good person. She is very hostile. When the twins first where adopted, I overheard a conversation with Violet and Peyton and Ember saying if something don’t go Violets way, she will kick them out and that is exactly what she did to them. She talks about communication is the best way to fix issues, but then she don’t even communicate.

      • I’m not saying she is a good person. Anyone who accepts bribes to tolerate behavior they normally wouldn’t is at the very least dishonest.

        I’m just saying these 2 fully adult women in child avatars are completely responsible for all their choices (such as paying for things for a fake mom because they’re desperate to keep her) and all their actions, including whichever ones annoy fake parents so much they can’t keep them. Family rp is just that- ROLE PLAY. As in BEING IN CHARACTER- you are not yourself, relationships are not real including family ones, and the acting is not something that anyone (healthy) does 24/7. If those “twins” are so mentally disabled they truly cannot fathom that difference, then whoever is letting them use SL is a very shitty caretaker. You people that enable them aren’t helping either. Coddling people who make stupid decisions and telling them nothing is their fault only keeps them in the mental state of being helpless, and if you actually cared about them you would want to empower them instead.

It would cause great deal of harm as well mentally and did you know an ASD often comes with hypersensitive nerve functions and that they can feel physical pain attached to emotions. This actually often means ASD. So no, more often would not able to handle such circumstances.

      • They can still be on SL and not be able to handle stresses and situations. Most people who play SL are on SL for a reason and this is their reason. Its valid. As they do have learning disabilities and normally can handle situations like this, but this situation was very uncalled for. They were defriended for a childish reason like “omg they messaged a friend and wanted to fix friendship, I don’t like them now DEFRIEND”. Ofc that would hurt them especially on top of feeling used. They felt very betrayed by letting her blog with them, and even being her friend again just for her to hurt them again so yeah, it didn’t go over well for them and they have a hell of a reason why it didn’t and why they did what they did. Its almost been a week since all this been on here, and STILL comments are happening. Enough already.

    • Using disability money to finance Second Life is a slap in the face to thosr who need disability benefits TO SURVIVE. The twins should be ashamed of themselves.

      • Who told you they use there whole disability on lindens? Because last I knew they barely upload lindens, they make enough with there stores that don’t need to now! Even before the store the most they have ever uploaded was a regular sized amount, not their whole damn disability check. They pay room and board, and things for there pets, they have other bills they pay, the most they put in lindens now is 50 DOLLARS! Sometimes non a month at all.
        The twins get disability because their learning disabilities, Their government wouldn’t allow them disability if they DID NOT qualify for it. Also not everyone in SL needs to know they are on disability so quit with the private information.

They are smart and have had interviews but can’t get the job because the questions that are asked in a interview are complicated and they don’t know how to answer them because the world in the sentence is to big or they haven’t heard the word before so they can’t answer that question and look bad. Sucks doesn’t it to have learning disabilities. Reason why when they were in high school THEY had to be put on an IEP.       • Doing things in SL where they can walk away when need too, take breaks as many days as need or whenever need at any time is not the same as holding down a job RL to make enough survive on. Jobs are not going to allow you to just call in any day need or leave anytime need, take breaks at any given moment. Among other things may need like medication etc. So no, it isn’t lazy, it’s reality. Nor do they make anything near survival on SL, they make their SL money and if uploading 20 bucks then not even that at times. You obviously do not know much about disability, types, restrictions or accommodations vs job industry.

  7. #39 This is why I do not like SL secrets. They only share bits and pieces of an entire story from one side. I personally can say, Violett is NOT a good person. She has mental issues, she has been pushing the twins around for years and telling them she loves them so much, and that she will “come back” for them everytime she needs a “mental break” making them wait and wait and wait. This can do loads of damage to any person on secondlife playing a child avatar. We are all here on SL for a reason, some of us have medical issues, some mental, some are just bat shit crazy. But it’s time that people realize, this a lot more going on behind the scenes. This twins have been used and abused for years by Violet and other parents and I have seen it with my own eyes. They are some of the sweetest people you will meet, they are more caring than anyone ever should be. They have paid for Violets lands, she has begged them for money! She has taken money, and housing from SL children! When we play children on secondlife, we want to be treated that way. That means that your own children should not be paying for your lifestyle on secondlife. But Peyton or Ember who posted this secret did not care to mention that did they? The twins loved Violet so much that they continued paying for her to live on her OWN land that they paid for months. Violet did not deserve this, and the twins do not deserve to be blasted like this consistently for their kindness. Please just stop reading SL secrets. I hope you all who sit here every single Sunday waiting to see who is on here next and believe half a story get a better life soon, because this is simply no way to live. This is all fake. Just move on and have a fun SL, get to know people personally and than make your judgment upon them.

  8. 42 – I build and create things, but I also work all the time in RL. The only time I ever come on anymore is to build things, and buy things that I see that I like. I don’t think I have spoken to another person other then a customer in SL for almost a year. All the friends I had here left to go pursue other games. The only reason I stay is because I love building things, even though I don’t sell nearly as much as I use too. I have been here since the beginning. To answer your question though…. Some are still here, in the quite corners of SL.

    42. Active professionals wouldn’t be on sl unless they are working on or helping with some project in-world. Spoke to a retired college lecturer once in sl and they said there’s definitely a critical thinking gap. On why the top companies left, I think they didn’t want to be associated with the large amount of explicit adult content. If you look at other games that do get sponsorship from top companies, they have heavy censorship. We’re lucky sl is lenient but thats the downside in this “woke” world.

    she buys a ton of badly made full perm mesh retextures these and everytime an actual creator of original mesh posts or sends a notice within the rebirth groups she and her “boyfriend” another suspicious like child avatar, will spam enough adverts for their trash retextures to block the original creators ad completely, enough that the original creators requested an additional channel to be added into the discord for original only mesh.

    I guess I can consider myself as one of the “professionals”.

    The trouble with SL is it suffers the same issue with Twitter: the terminally online users who are usually like this:

    unskilledunemployedmentally illliving off welfarebored stay-at-home parents
    They practically rule Twitter and clog the whole thing up with garbage. Login to Twitter now, and you can see it occur in real time. It’s not any different with SL.

    What makes things even worse is SL exists in a timewarp since most of the terminally online users are always around. 4 days spent not online pulling overtime on a time-sensitive project for work is as good as 4 weeks’ worth of absence, and those terminally online people can easily forget me after I return. Normal people don’t behave like this.

    For the above reasons, I don’t go to public spots any longer and keep my presence at home or to a select few venues where the crazies don’t frequent. Us sane people are still around, only not so visible anymore

  22. #42 I left when it became apparent that the drama even extended to big SL events. As a professional, I had a lot to offer but sadly left when the drama got the best of SL. Even a huge event coming up mid-April through early May (you know which one). It’s all so toxic that normal people who were there to make connections can no longer be there. Those who are still in SL and aren’t crazy just haven’t had that moment yet. It’s not what it used to be and never will be again. I really do hope that all those still in SL who aren’t crazy find good friendships and relationships, but I’m afraid it’ll all be for nothing when the drama crowd steps in. The crazies are slowly but surely driving sane people out and it’ll soon be reduced even further to nothing more than small cliques looking for their next drama battle.

    • SL has always been and always will be full of drama. Full of liars, full of users and crazies. The difference is grid population. More population, more people meet. Ratio stays the same but the numbers of that ratio enlarge. Before comment I have been around since dawn.

MORE THEN HALF the percentage she didn’t want the TWINS anymore but they STILL STAYED because THEY CARE and THEY CAN’T HELP what happens when they are being anxious and insecure. THEY GET WORRIED, Everyone has reasons for it. I’m positive the twins don’t like having to need reassurance alot too but THEY BEEN THROUGH IT in SL with their First SL Mom, that it TRAUMATIZED them WHICH NOW they have a very hard time with SL moms because of that but nobody can blame them. Not a reason to CUSS PEOPLE Out and YELL and SCREAM at them. The Twins couldn’t talk about their FEELINGS to this “monster” as you said.

Anyone has the right to unfriend anyone they want at any time, with no explanation; your insistence that whoever didn’t “have the right” is absolutely fucked from a consent point of view. The more I read defending these “children”, the more certain I am that if this Violet person did indeed ghost them, it was because she couldn’t get away any other way without dealing with mountains of drama. People do have the right to seek peace in their lives, and all you’re doing is making it clear that dealing with those “twins” will destroy that.       • Literally this ^ You explained the situation PERFECTLY. I have known both the twins and Violet since they were very first adopted. Not only did they bombard violet and ember with questions about “do you love us equally” for months and months, but they let their disabilities run rampant and used them as an excuse constantly. So yes, violet continuously gave them chances, and cut them off when they continued to be toxic. The final break was because the twins messaged ember, NOT TO FIX A FRIENDSHIP, but to ask about Violet. They lie. They manipulate, and play wounded lamb. They forced violet out of SL because they would make accounts to contact her. Constantly. They were trying to FORCE her into friendship with them. Noone should have to deal with that. People have a right to not be friends with someone. They shouldn’t have to be forced. Also the bit about them PAYING for Violets housing? Yeah they forced that on her too. She didn’t ask for that. They pushed that on her. Like they do with everything else. They only care about themselves. But “Be less ignorant, please”, you described it pretty on the nose.

      • First of all, the twins did not message Ember to ask about violet, and thats where exactly this was twisted because they did not what so ever ask about violet, THEY WERE FRIENDS WITH VIOLET at that point and were only deleted after messaging Ember to fix a friendship.with EMBER. Ember replying with no and don’t ever message her again and she will only talk about fox hollow rentals as she was a manager there. They never did ONE thing to Ember by the way. NEVER VIOLET was mentioned in that conversation. Again violet was their friend.. Why would they ask her about Violet. LOL. So stop with the excuses and trying to hear only one side of the story or be told something different by someone and believe it. THIS WAS THE REASON the twins were deleted because Ember told violet we were asking about HER when they weren’t. So the truth be told. The way lies and different stories happen…. So very toxic. SMH

    I had a few friends that had stores in SL and a RL job and family and would create things for SL and have at least a New item once a month or two. Plus not just anyone could blog. When all these stay at home people swarmed in.. They can dedicate all their time and could produce more… But they are all takers because they need the extra money for RL… But those that don’t need the money never pulled it out of the game re invested. We would support clubs, DJs and performers.

    SL went to from a fun social place to a consumer game.

    • I wouldn’t say it’s because of the stay-at-home people, as it was happening long before 2019 stuck the virtual world.
      Honesly, I think it’s mostly because people grew up, got the full-time jobs, families and etc and they simply don’t have time for it anymore, and the younger generation is only yet to go through it, obviously they will have more time and OBVIOUSLY they will act like youngsters.
      Though, the content creators who once were making stuff for SL just outgrew it and went into a serious game development where the projects are up to date with current technologies, people shall thank a poor LL management for that guess.

      • The only reason why SL has always been free to use is because it’s built with OpenGL, an open source framework. If they rebuilt it in a “current” one, they would have to pay to license that engine, and that cost would be passed down to residents in the form of fees to access. We would probably also lose everything we own due to compatibility issues as well. No one wants to pay for a basic account, or to lose their inventories, so I don’t think we can really blame LL’s “management” for the outdated tech.

They need serious help, they do this with every mom or family they’ve been in since they joined SL. Once you get tired of their abuse they lie and stalk and freak out. Tons of designer names I didn’t recognize, which on the surface is cool because we love seeing new creators on the rise… except it was a whole lot of over-used full-perm trash. 2 stores even had a nearly identical dress with a nearly identical ad lol.

    • #35 Dubai is the worst event ever LOL. Their new layout is so difficult to shop and walk around. I didn’t know they charge all those designers as sponsors. The only booth worth t there is Doux. I love seeing too new creators but they need to bring something good to the table.

      • I am a monthly visitor to this event and there are the same designers as in previous rounds and just so you know there are fewer booths than before, and the design is not complicated at all, top and bottom… you can see all of them, just by twist… is it so hard to see? Maybe you need to see it without having to take out your evil and envy LOL

      • firstly, not everyone stands in the center and just cams around. some people like to walk the event with friends/partners. I don’t think the build is weird, I just think it’s not well made and tbh the old layout was better.

I’ve provided my opinion on the quality of items on offer and pointed out a factual design flaw. if you doubt that flaw, please feel free to test it yourself. one of the 2 main/larger stairways… you can walk into the center opening and go left or right to the actual stairs but you won’t be able to walk in or out via the side openings. it blocks about half of the actual stair space as well. not detrimental to my ability to shop, but it is annoying none the less.

        I hope anyone reading this has who plans to go there has the appropriate expectations  🙂 

      • omg i couldn’t even access the main set of stairs! it was like mesh blocked or something. i had to go up the small narrow stairway. I truly don’t understand why events insist on having giant builds that are 100m wide with huge expansive open space in the middle. layouts like equal10, kustom9, access… those are nicely spaced. my favorite is food court, that design is brilliantly made and every themed event coordinator should take notes from that place.

    • what is really amazing is they charge 3k Ls for a regular booth and I dont even know how much for sponsored booths. Multiply that by the 45+ booths. That is a whole lot of money for such a craptastic layout.

    • #35 Hmm actually not true for the particular event. I think you didn’t visit it lately. It changed the layout and number of booths and sponsors. I visited two days ago. It is nothing close to what used to be. The new sim is a mess. You need to put a lot of effort to view all the booths and many unknown brands there just to fill the gabs I guess. Nothing quality.

The only people who are there are rejects from BoTS and RoC and people who threw fits for bot getting what they wanted and their characters are ripped off from other sims. Legit. 90% of the Targaryen roleplayers there are people who complained about Targ RP at BoTS and RoC. It sounds like every other GoT sim out there. Larra Rogare is worse than Elaerys Arryn and I don’t see you bitching about her, at least Elaerys has some class.

    • BoTS ~~had~~ a lot of potential but they decided to open 24/7 voice chat and not care about their active player base. They let some GOR guy run their st and it was boring af. Maybe if the admin had not been voice recorded talking shit about their players a lot of them would have been loyal even though the story went stagnant. People who actually liked their stories at BoTS left so what does that tell you about the admin?

      CoB is a hot mess but at least it does not pretend not to be. Who should we support?
