    • It scans the entire sim. If you only own a parcel, the bot can TP into anywhere else on the sim. Only way to truly get rid of the bots is to region ban them

      Currently, you can create:

      Up to five accounts per household.

      No more than two accounts in a single 24-hour period.

      But does Linden Lab actually enforce it? I’ve never seen it happen.

    She’s been written about numerous times as a cancerous blight on SL, has her own entry on Encyclopedia Dramatica, and is actively disliked by the Lindens.

    If you’re ever bored, Google her username, give her blog and Twitter a read and prepare to keep repeating the phrase “how is this a real person” over and over because that much toxicity and ignorance is an affront to human existence.

    • BonnieBots website tracks the “what’s selling now” feature on the marketplace. They consolidated the $L amounts from those sales because they are tracking it 24/7, then displayed a ranking (with real time $ amounts of their earnings on display) of the top earning creators on the marketplace, with a link to their store. I think it’s pretty risky to be doing that because displaying that information could put a massive target on a creator’s back to be hacked or spammed with phishing scams. Originally they had [redacted] next to any creator who asked to be removed from the list, now the redacted creators have been fully removed to make room for more names to be displayed.

      • Discussing income is actually an excellent way to promote income equality within professions and workplaces. Talking to coworkers about how much you make gives you leverage to fight for better pay. The people who don’t want you talking about your income are your bosses, so they can get away with shady shit. So yeah, maybe posting everyone’s incomes would be a great idea.

        Within the design world, it can be good to get an idea of what you can realistically strive for within your niche. Are any of the top creators in your area doing well? What kinds of things are they making? What bodies are they designing for? If you collab with them, what kind of split would be fair? Not to mention letting people outside of SL see that we have a thriving economy and creators here can make real money. I understand why people might not love talking income but it’s actually a great tool that can benefit everyone, both RL and SL.

      • You’re incorrect. Visit the website and click the Marketplace tab, then Top Merchants. They scrape the feed of purchases and tally it up, then display the total sales over the last 14 days for merchants in the top 100 earners. However, a number of people have opted out so the feed now only displays the top earners who haven’t asked to not be tracked. It also only scrapes purchases of L$249 and higher, so it misses about 25% of all sales.

    • On number 16, also creators make mesh designs and sell it to other creators who create their own patterns. It’s how creating works. Not everyone is a mesh creator or even a bom creator, some buy the base product and just edit and resell which is typical.
