    No one who’s in a relationship they want to be in takes a “SL break” in the middle of it; even if they get super busy rl, they will make every effort to hold that relationship together if it matters to them. If you’re SL “dating” someone and they decide they need a break from SL, they are taking a break from YOU. You are definitely getting ghosted, also yes- most likely cheated on with an alt, and by a pathetic coward who wants to make you break things off. Then they can come back looking innocent at least, and like the victim of someone unreasonable, who refused to be understanding about their “busy rl”, at best. They want you to be the bad guy because they have no spine, and often garnering sympathy for being dumped is how they seek out their next victim. Identify new mark/fake commit/rinse/repeat; they’ll just keep doing it over and over if they’re allowed to.

    So do you play other online games as killers, sharpshooters, and other sorts of character? Are you the Bioshock character? Are you a vampire outside of V rising? No, then the same applies in SL. Get out of your homophobia and get a grip.

    • Yes, you can get sued. So? Anyone can for anything. Does not mean anything changes. No, the likelihood is that most won’t bother, don’t care, or laugh it off. If you infringe on a patent that is potentially the next great idea (i.e. Iqos and the patent fight they are in within the U.S.) that is one thing. But if you honestly think any fashion brand (as is implied in this secret) cares one bit about SL ripoffs you are seriously naive. Disney might be one of the few exceptions.

    • So you can only copyright prints of the clothes. That is all. Sorry DVF in RL tried to do that with her “signature” wrap dress…
      It was actually a rip-off of 1920s fashion.

      This is why when people copy, they can copy the shape, the actual color scheme, not the print. You can copy RL fashion from Designers. Just not the copyrighted labels aka the CC.

      Logos, etc. The printwork done on the piece. But a jacket is a jacket, a wrap dress is a wrap dress, etc. The cut is not copyrightable, what can be is the fabric, print used. For instance a lace bra cannot be copyrighted, but the pattern of the lace itself with the Logo of Chanel can. That’s the distinction.

      Now there is a difference between RL clothes and character ones, because those are made for the sole purpose of a game which is trademark in entirety. So yes that in essence can be copyrighted. Just like you can’t really use Witcher items or Bioshock items.

      Same goes for shows.

  10. #39 – Let’s be very clear about this Woodcrest saga, because some people who obviously have nothing better to do have been posting snippets of this expired and tasteless drama for weeks, probably even years now. It’s like kicking a dead horse. I’ll say my piece. You might see this comment twice, or never at all. Mods take long sometimes.

    Emiko, who may otherwise be known as Timofey Novak, and, more recently and allegedly, Shiloh Woolf (rrblueh), has been banned for a little while now, and truth be told, he will probably come back on another alt, as he has historically. The obvious obsession he has with Woodcrest is almost as hilarious as it is disturbing. While Bliss is a very delusional person herself and a very clear source of drama at the sim that needs to be removed, Emiko is also a very deranged individual, to the point where witnessing it is actually pitiful. I wouldn’t be shocked if he posted this about himself, as he has had a trend of doing that in the past to claw for the nonexistent relevancy he wishes and craves he had when he is very clearly on *nobody’s* mind. I’m sure if you look back far enough, before or immediately after his Timofey account was banned at the sim, there will coincidentally be a secret about him, which is hilarious because… who was ever remotely concerned about Timofey, let alone enough to write a secret about him? LMAO. Let’s hope I’m right. He has always had this delusion that people are actively talking and gossiping about him and are actually cognizant of his absence on the sim, but the reality is… quite literally no one cares. Nothing more than a failed popularity contest. And it’s obvious that it just breaks his little heart.

    Emiko is unfortunately a self-admitted troll with less-than-mediocre RP and forced girlish mannerisms with nothing better to do and nothing going on for himself in his real life, to the point where the only thing that’s left for him is to go run and create alts and continue to disrupt a sim where he is clearly not wanted or valued. The people writing and defending him and his actions are only enabling him, because if these people actually cared about that bloke’s well-being, they would be honest and tell him that he needs to log out of the grid, get extensive therapy, and never come back. He is the exact type of person you *don’t* want frequenting SL: the deeply troubled and mentally ill. 

    He’s a quite lonely individual, which is a tell-tale sign of why he acts the way he does and thinks he’s being self-righteous. It’s a quite sad case. Just a weak bloke working an unfulfilling and directionless 9-to-5 and dumping his meager minimum wage earnings into making and meshing out countless alts to repeatedly pester both Woodcrest and the grid in general with. Anyone with half a brain would know dumping hundreds of dollars into an online game just to deceptively force yourself into places and around people when you’re clearly not wanted is not remotely worth it or logical in any capacity. But, unfortunately, Emiko lacks the fundamental self respect or baseline intelligence to realize that. 

    Any self-respecting person would know to back off and leave where they’re clearly not wanted, but the truth is Emiko Sasaki (allinh), Timofey Novak (pbpx, formerly daishs) and, from what I’ve gathered, the suspected Shiloh Woolf (rrblueh)—AND probably a million more alts where that came from—will never have the courage or intelligence to better himself, go outside, and figure out that the grass is greener outside of SL, the game where he ultimately lets his untreated mental illness and identity crisis run amuck. That guy is a walking oxymoron, with a *very* heavy emphasis on the latter part of that word. Just a very weak and ill person in general who trolls incessantly and thinks they’re doing the world a favor or service. You’re nothing but a failure and bully, Emiko. A prime example of what happens when the people in your real and palpable life don’t love you, so you have to go running around the internet and the grid trying to avenge and overcompensate for the rage mommy and daddy never let you express or talk through, or the love and acceptance they never showed you. *cues sad violin music*

    Another hard truth is, Woodcrest is simply not what it used to be. The culture is overwhelmingly toxic. Too many losers, too many cliques, and too many corrupt mods. It used to be a place of camaraderie and community where people could make genuine and meaningful bonds and engage in fun role play, and now you have pests like Bliss and Timofey/Emiko/Shiloh and his future alts running around and tainting the legacy of a sim that had so much potential, egging on old drama. Let it go, and for the love of God, *stop* posting secrets about each other and yourselves for attention. Do everyone a real favor go touch some grass, far away from SL. 

    These people are both nut cases if you ask me, and I’d advise anyone to stay far, far away from both them and that sim. They’re nothing but tumors. And, remember guys: therapy works. Cheers!

        I just come here to read and be amused by the toxic people I left behind still wallowing in the muck. I get a laugh out of all this. There is much power to be felt and had knowing I can say whatever I want and nobody can touch me from SL.

        How is browsing and commenting here any different from any social media site? Some people browse memes, read books, argue on the internet, play games endlessly. I laugh at this website and get amusement from it.

      Who would’ve even had an HD picture of Timofey lying around to post a pointed secret about him? I’d actually be shocked if he didn’t post that himself. Just some food for thought.

      I’m also pretty sure he posted that secret about Bliss a few weeks ago, from week 720, but I could be wrong. He loves drawing attention to himself in any way possible or stirring the pot, especially on this website.

Apart from being linden hungry? I was given a gift card for this store … and ended up giving it away because nothing of interest to me … maybe if the owner wasn’t so linden hungry and focused on customers he/she would see some linden. Also I have seen this designs somewhere else… so maybe you need to be original.

  12. Why is anyone even remotely surprised that yet another GoT sim is exactly the same as the rest?
    GoT sims are basically run by the same handful of people, usually when they get drama-kicked from another GoT sim so they run off to make their own sim with blackjack and hookers, except they want to PLAY on the sim rather than run it so it inevitably becomes another pile of the same shit, different day until someone gets mad enough to leave and make their own.

    The amount of GoT Rpers that actually accept consequences for fucking up can be counted on one hand, and the amount of sheer morons that like to think “im fucking everyone” is the same as “Complicated nuanced political RP” is frankly ridiculous. Just because the show had lots of tits, that’s not how you play politics, kids.

    Lords, if you want to play on a GoT sim and throw a massive fit if your ‘carefully laid plan’ goes awry and you’re not king in two weeks or no one treats you like you’re the second coming of Lord Badass of Bigdick, don’t even bother. Ladies, if you’re on a GoT sim and you want to play a highborn Lady, keep your legs shut. Everyone, stop ignoring the rare few people that actually want to play a character that isn’t highborn, stop cliquing with your buddies and punishing anyone outside of your social circle, and maybe… MAYBE, one of these sims might not be utterly toxic trash.

  14. #39 – Not surprised at all, lol. But the way Woodcrest goes these days.. it’s the perfect spawning point for trolls. I tried to return and see what Woodcrest is up to a few days ago, when they had a “DAM/DOE naked party”.
    Woodcrest turned into a sex sim. It’s sad. They had a fucking BDSM cross up and everyone was dancing naked/making out/sexing each other with the poor quality *fucks u hard*-rp.
    I have no idea if I shall laugh or cry… or both. Woodcrest has/had a lot of potential to be a good sim. But they drown all that in the main reason people go there: pixel sex.

The admin staff is a joke and chosen for those leadership roles based on popularity contests rather than actual demonstration of leadership skills. They operate like high school kids, especially Bliss who’s the Regina George of Woodcrest, the mean girl who have her cult followers to do her dirty work. Woodcrest is a joke, no real authentic roleplay, just a bunch of sex-driven, sex-motivated events created by the Greek factions. Woodcrest has become a cesspool of the stereotypical college hookup culture in SL.

        With that out of the way, here we go. I’m not egotistical at all. Not sure who you actually think I am, but when I do roleplay I freely admit I’m not the be-all end-all. I’m also not a para-rp’er who’s going to dump word soup on people. It clogs chat, and just because you can type a lot of words doesn’t mean you’re a good roleplayer. It means you like to be the center of attention. Finally, I’m also not somebody who can’t form coherent sentence, tries to type with numbers in their post, or leaves things like emojis in them.

        Finally, almost nobody in Secondlife actually looks like their avatars. So congrats. You just fat-shamed half of SL’s user base. Classy.

Even the entire Juan Morinazuka clan despite their poor approach to how they left. You act like this is some new shocking development. This has historically been going on at that sim for ages. Just the people I listed above were some of the most active and engaging people on sim. But yeah, let’s ignore the common denominator.

        I love that you think Emiko posted that when they usually freely admit when they post something because it gets under your craw so damn easily. But man these posts must have struck a few nerves on the people still at Woodcrest who are sucking Bliss’s tit or Bliss herself since I’m sure she’s one of the commenters too.

        I doubt it was Emiko who posted it. Odds are it was one of the people on here who are getting super defensive over Woodcrest.

        As for my real SL Name? Why would I post that. Clearly you and “Go Fuck Yourself” seem pretty convinced who I am. In the words of Steve Rogers, “No, I don’t think I will.” Go ahead and ban whoever you think I am from Woodcrest and we’ll see if you’re right or not.       Working within the scope of Second Life, using the tools within the program, based on the skeletal structures of the avatar base, is not the same as fucking taking an app that literally pastes on a smile. I would complain the same if someone Photoshopped a smile they pulled from a stock photo and blended it in. True artistry comes from using as much of the elements of the program as possible, to show the scope of possibility that makes Second Life so unique. It diminishes and cheapens that experience when you cookie cutter a fucking app smile onto the shot.

      Not to mention a smile doesn’t just start and stop with a mouth. So yes, someone can still fuck up a smile in SL using facial expressions in a limited fashion. Eyes, cheeks, creases at the nasolabial folds, all are important in creating realism. Though at the end of the day, I’m going to credit anyone’s efforts in their path towards artistic mastery, even if they’ve skipped these elements. It’s still better than app face.

While Bliss is a very delusional person herself and a very clear source of drama at the sim that needs to be removed, Emiko is also a very deranged individual, to the point where witnessing it is actually pitiful. I wouldn’t be shocked if he posted this about himself, as he has had a trend of doing that in the past to claw for the nonexistent relevancy he wishes and craves he had when he is very clearly on *nobody’s* mind. I’m sure if you look back far enough, before or immediately after his Timofey account was banned at the sim, there will coincidentally be a secret about him, which is hilarious because… who the hell ever cared about Timofey, let alone enough to write a secret about him? LMAO. Let’s hope I’m right. He has always had this delusion that people are actively talking and gossiping about him and are actually cognizant of his absence on the sim, but the reality is… quite literally no one cares. Nothing more than a failed popularity contest. And that just breaks his little deranged heart.

    Emiko is, sadly, a self-admitted troll with less-than-mediocre RP and forced girlish mannerisms with nothing better to do and nothing going on for himself in his real life, to the point where the only thing that’s left for him is to go run and create alts and continue to disrupt a sim where he is clearly not wanted or valued. The people writing and defending him and his actions are only enabling the poor imbecile, because if these people actually cared about that bloke’s well-being, they would be honest and tell him that he needs to log out of the grid, get extensive therapy, and never come back. He is the exact type of person you *don’t* want frequenting SL: the deeply troubled and mentally ill. 

    He’s a quite lonely individual, which is a tell-tale sign of why he acts the way he does and thinks he’s being self-righteous. It’s a quite sad case. Just a pathetic bloke working an unfulfilling and directionless 9 to 5 and dumping his meager minimum wage earnings into making and meshing out countless alts to repeatedly curse both Woodcrest and the grid in general with. Anyone with half a brain would know dumping hundreds of dollars into an online game just to deceptively force into places and be around people where you’re clearly not wanted is not remotely worth it or logical in any capacity. But, unfortunately, Emiko lacks the fundamental self respect or baseline intelligence to realize that. 

    Any self-respecting person would know to fuck off and leave where they’re clearly not wanted, but the truth is Emiko Sasaki (allinh), Timofey Novak (pbpx, formerly daishs) and, from what I’ve gathered, the suspected Shiloh Woolf (rrblueh)—AND probably a million more alts where that came from—will never have the courage or intelligence to better himself, go outside, and figure out that the grass is greener outside of SL, the game where he ultimately lets his untreated mental illness and identity crisis run amuck. While I do not know the full story of his mistake, last thing I heard is Blaise was taking a hiatus and checking how FWF would do without him while he is champion. Later on it was said that Alyx had announced Blaise was quitting FWF with the championship belt and not even giving the belt back at the time since, the owner back in the past made it no copy, but transferable. So Blaise had the belt while the owner had a copy still. Now I don’t know if this is true, but quitting without losing the belt first was a big no-no. And it got Blaise Blacklisted from all feds. However, this is also playing into Alyx’s hand as everyone in FWF saw him as a hero for getting Blaise out and earning Management’s full trust to the point, they would trust Alyx way too much. Alyx had so much power by then. Everyone wanted to card with him and forget others existed.

        I heard there were multiple people developing a crush on Alyx. Only to then end up ghosted. People trying to be friends outside the fed with him. Ghosted. His excuse was “I am sorry. So why stick around if your head isn’t going to sell, and it sucks because you don’t hear of anyone having issues with using the Catwa head but I constantly see people having issues with the LeLutka heads. I have the HDPro Queen head (I think) and I like the head very much, it’s easy to use and it looks most like my other catwa head when you style the shape the way you want.

You rarely hear about Catwa users having issues because Catwa is a negligible market share now and most of those use Catya, which if you are still using and haven’t mastered by now, you’d have to be brain dead.

      • It’s not user issues I’m seeing, I’ve seen on plurk a few of my plurk friends that use Lelutka it’s the way the skin applies to the heads. They’re having issues with the head glitching out, or the skin not applying correctly.

    • Personally (and I’m sure I said this before), I find that older system skins look AMAZING on Catwa in a way that they do NOT on a Evox head in Evo mode. As best I understand things, Catwa is a lot closer to the system UV. I bought a couple of the HDPro heads last year for alts who’d never had mesh heads before, because I wanted to make good use of the the inventory they already had.

      That’s it, that’s the main use case I know of for Catwa over Lel Evox. But it’s worth giving a try.

  72. #25 Tim definitely buys 100% of his mesh from other designers. He is always ordering new mesh every month and only textures them. Tim does offer his contacts to help Jason order mesh for his store as well. Not fair when there are other designers who are working 100% of their store from start to finish and only in a quarter of the events Tim and Jason are in. Must be nice to not worry about modeling/retopology,rigging,sizing when you have other people doing it for you and still brag about the number of events you’re in too.

I am sure most store owners will relate to this… Whenever you make a new piece all you are sure about is that you invested your time in it if your will make that time worthwhile is a whole other story. My guess is no to all of those, so their claims that the mesh is Original is still valid. Just because someone other than the user behind the SL account made the mesh doesn’t make it any less original. So why does it matter? You’d be surprised to know just how many ‘big’ stores in SL do not hand make their own items, and instead outsource to other artists for the mesh, rigging, texturing or even have full teams that do all the work while they just package the unpackers. So if it’s not bothering you, why do you care? Jealous?

    33 – While you cannot get in trouble for copying everyday fashion in RL – you CAN get yourself into trouble if a TV show or Video game character and its design is trademarked. Prime example is all these Hellfire Club shirts – that artwork was designed for the show and most likely falls under the show’s trademark, so using logos or identifiable aspects of a character is very much still something you can get in trouble for depending on how broad the trademark reaches. You can always make items that are inspired, but if it’s recognizable as a specific character (like power rangers, for example) you can still get yourself into trouble, ESPECIALLY if you are profiting from it.

    36 & 37 – Shape creator drama to me is hilarious. 99% of the time people only buy the shape for the style card.

    48 – Considering that MELODY is one of her brands, I’m not sure how she’s stealing from herself? She is a thief, but this example is not a good one for trying to prove that she’s a thief. Full perm items allow you to resell under your own brand with your own textures. You can’t do that with a (probably no modify) gift. So not sure how this one was supposed to be a “gotcha” though I do find people attacking her entertaining.

It takes a long time to learn how to make mesh using blender / maya / 3ds max etc. It takes MONTHS, if not years, to become a skilled mesh maker, creating the mesh, unwrapping, texturing it in a programme. Then say they are making furniture…. they have to do textures, sometimes multiple options for different parts of a piece of furniture if making it texture change. Then they put in animations, which if they do each menu from the start, can take be very time consuming. But they do this so they end up with a good quality product. …… With me so far?… excellent. All of this takes skill and time. If someone is having mesh made for them they are only doing HALF of this work therefore they have more time to do more, be in more events, make more money than those who do ALL of the work for themselves. Now does that sound fair to you?

Despite latinos never feeling insulted, they went to the complainers side because it got the attention they wanted.
