She’s a wannabe bully that ruins her departments and has jealousy issues falling out her loose shit smeared ass. I agree with it all but who really cares about her.     A lot of people release the same type of mesh because neither of them made it. They all bought it from the same mesh creator and sold it with their own textures. That’s why you see the same tops and bottoms being released by so many different clothing creators.

    • Yes, full perm meshes exist, but none of those creators are using them (except Scandalize). Evani, Gaia, and Little Fox all 3 have their own proprietary meshes; none of the items shown are identical. The dumbass poster is actually complaining that the styles are merely similar, and claiming that the creators who released the very simple, basic items are being “copied” by a newer creator making the same kind of basic items. It’s really fucking stupid.

    I’m only going to touch on a few very misleading pieces of your wall of text, because the rest you’re entitled to your opinion and frankly, no one cares. Really. No one.

    Firstly, I don’t post secrets. I never have and I never will. I don’t hide anonymously.
    People can dislike me all they want, but this has remained true always.

    Now, regarding Milla, Yu’s former/ex.

    I can’t remember who friended who on FB. I saw Milla posting sad posts and I left a comment.
    I was very up front and told her that I don’t know if it’d do her any good to speak to me, and she told me she can make her own choices. Not long after, she disappeared and I was blocked. No hard feelings, like I said, I had a feeling it wouldn’t be okay.

    Not long after Milla and Yu ended things, Milla re-popped up on FB and apologized for doing what she did and explained she was told to do it. I told her no worries.

    Milla and Abril became friends, and I didn’t do anything, or say anything, and went on my way.

    I did not go out of my way to try to be Milla’s friend. I did not seek her out.
    I was genuinely nice to her, like I try my best to be with people.

    If this is the story she’s pitched to you and Abril, that’s her own prerogative but it’s not how it went. I’m not going to post the chat log, but I just reviewed FB and it’s all still there.

    In regards to not unblocking her anywhere for her to apologize. No, I will not do it.
    I don’t want a notecard she can claim was doctored or fabricated in the future.

    She is free to make a post publicly and I will engage in dialog in the comments.

    Concerning her RL information, please blame her bad behavior within the tumblr RP community prior to me. It was all posted there, publicly. I did not dig it up, it was all right there when I had to prove that the alt that copybotted me was her, back when she claimed it wasn’t.

    More-so, this perpetuation that I am who contacted her RL needs to stop, especially if you want me to believe she’s not the one keeping this going.

    I did not contact her family. I did not touch her RL.
    She made RL threats towards me, which are now magically the threats she proclaims were to her.

    Anyway.

    As I said, it’s great that you’re such a good friend to her, and I hope within that, you and the rest of her circle seek out a better way to support her. I know it’s a friends responsibility to see the best in the people they care for, and that is how it should be. I just worry you all may be enabling her without realizing. This behavior predates me.

    To all the other insanity about me from any other random comment, you’re all free to feel what ever way you want. Anonymity is an amazing tool. I do find being told to hold myself accountable by a bunch of people hiding behind said anonymity very amusing, however.

Everyone sees it by now and one of the main reasons people don’t call you out on it is because you somehow have a large amount of popular creators around your finger and get worried about dealing with your shit.

      People want to be friends with Abril but won’t because they don’t want to deal with your backlash.

      You did cause threat to her RL when you lead people to her RL through whatever means at the time which in cause lead to people threatening her RL, causing issues with her family and even threatening her RL work. The threat she made to you, which she doesn’t pretend she didn’t do, was fully shown to people when she revealed all the skype logs showing it happened right after people you gave a way for people to access her RL information to, attacked her family with a lie you can’t even find proof of. 

      “Abril was sexually abused by her Dad.” Followed by you saying you can’t find the proof but it doesn’t matter because she did xyz. That’s on your blog.

      Stop pretending like you have done absolutely nothing wrong. There is that, the countless posts you’ve made about her and hidden behind “friends only”. The countless times you’ve attacked her or her friends publicly which you have admitted to doing under the guise of “I’m just bullying her”. The many times you made PSAs about her and then brought up your drama with her from x amount of years ago.

      This shouldn’t be a public matter and the reality is, you want her to apologise for things you don’t have actual proof of her doing and have just blatantly accused her of doing assuming it was her. I also don’t think she should be blamed for things there is no proof of. Multiple examples being of the alts that you still claim she made under your name, which everyone found out had been done by your toxic ex Trevor, one of his friends named Dan(?) bragged about it, this has been known by everyone for years. Everyone but you apparently. You accusing her of stalking you when it’s been made clear it’s the other way around. The multiple times you’ve accused her on posting on VS while simultaneously claiming you never post anything yourself is hypocritical because it’s sane to assume you’re doing it. There has never been evidence provided beyond you going “No one would defend Abril so it must be Abril”. 

      Again, there is more. No one should have to apologise for things they didn’t do and there isn’t proof of them doing. That’s the reality of that so going “She’s not going to do it public because she won’t apologise for everything” is like going “I want someone to apologise to me and admit they’ve done wrong when the only proof I have is my word that they’re doing xyz.”

      This doesn’t read like someone who isn’t intentionally trying to cause issues within a relationship. You specifically brought up your drama with her, stated “done really bad things to me over the years” and basically attempted to bring this person into questioning Abril, the other sub to their partner.

      That is the definition of manipulation right there, and then you and Yu becoming friends after their falling out really shows your intentions.

      You’re not continuing it? Make all your facebook posts about Abril public, Verinne. Make all your twitter posts about her public as well. If you want to show your innocence about not being the one to continue it, make it all public so everyone can see that you’ve not blatantly stalked and harassed someone for years.       Just stop trying to play the victim at this point and take accountability for everything you’ve done and admitted to doing.

      • It’s all about proportions- for instance, chairs don’t come up to the shoulder on 99% of full grown adults, so if you look child sized next to furniture(as I’m positive Veronica does), you’re probably going to look underage. This is the environment for nearly all of SL, and making yourself proportionate to it is literally the only logical choice, for many reasons. Insisting that your rl height on a slider is more important than the way you appear in your environment- much smaller than you do rl- is asinine. What’s the point of it?

        For others(the “short and bigger boobs”), it’s choosing facial proportions that only exist in very small children, like actual toddlers. The forehead that takes up half the face, extra large eyes, tiny nose/mouth combo. Regardless of their “boobs”, they’re trying to give a childish impression and proving that with their “aesthetic” that includes things like pacifiers and small children’s toys, and it’s fucking disgusting.

      • That is where you are being mistaken, however. Being shorter does not necessarily = “child size”. The ava in #15 isn’t THAT much shorter than the other avas around her, and her face doesn’t resemble a child/teen.

        What you explain is true in some cases, yes, and I agree with you. But in the majority of photos being shown, it’s only based on height and nothing else. It’s very odd.

The screenshot is edited (any SL “professional” screenshot is,) but their viewer is set to ultra graphics, while yours looks like it’s somewhere around mid. Protip: Go into your settings and change water reflections from “none (opaque) to “none (transparent)” and it’ll immediately look better.

    #39- Clothing makers are allowed to make similar clothes, especially if they’re super basic styles like this AND when they have different styles of fitting their clothes. Like oh no, guess I can’t make some thigh high socks cause someone else made some back in 2007, don’t wanna look like I’m copying the OG  🙄

    • Engine room has ALWAYS been revolving around different genre’s of punk. More noteably to Aetherpunk with some of their more recent rounds. But, it definitely isn’t just Steampunk. It’s why a bunch of creators have different designs ranging from steam-aether-diesel- some other science fiction genre. Putting them up here just because YOU want the event to be strictly Steampunk, is really fucking shitty. Walton and his friends bust their ASSES on these builds, not just for engine room, but necrotize, and even for fantasy fair, which honestly.

      I look forward to their build EVERY fucking year. Because it’s not just you know, a basic build, there’s a fucking story, EVERY build with walton is designed for a story, to catch your eyes to really make you go WOW! Himself and many others on his team and in his community, bust their ass to bring you guys something new every, fucking, event. But, he himself and his event gets put up here because it’s not strictly steam punk…. Tell me you don’t know anything but steampunk, without telling me you don’t know anything but steampunk.

        I hate to say it, but if the event were strictly Steampunk I’d probably even be less inclined to go visit or take a look. Not because I hate Steampunk, I don’t! But because so many people that think it’s just sepia and gears always want their say in things, and I’d likely unintentionally lump all that baggage in with what the Event was actually about.

        Instead, we get incredible builds and incredible designs from inspired creators who put their whole heart into the thing. Some of which includes Steampunk.

        Every Engine Room has been incredible, and hosted incredible items. I’m sad I missed the earlier one with the build based off Frostpunk, cause that’s where my heart lies.

    The biggest difference between Little Fox and Scandalize is quality- Little Fox meshes are well fitted, appear smooth from every angle, with high quality textures, while Scandalize uses barely passable textures and their meshes are so rough and thin that they look kinda like being wrapped in wadded paper.

  52. 38 It’s frustrating when themed events lose their focus and start allowing the same generic skimpy clothing that every other event has. Especially when it’s a theme that can be harder to find on your own, like steampunk or post-apoc. I love discovering new creators at themed events. That’s how I found a lot of my favorites. I don’t know, it seems like organizers are giving up on their themes in order to bring in more shoppers or something, and that’s sad.

    • Did you read it? They try to explain away why some of their residents were caught and banned, saying they were ‘incited’ into taking part in ageplay by a ‘bad actor’. The whole place should be shut down.

        As far as the sim owners knowing and/or allowing such activities… I have owned several social and community-based venues in SL over the years. If someone was doing something while I was not present to witness it, or if they did it via IM… there is literally nothing I could have done about it. If that sim’s owner were as complacent as you’re purporting them to be, they would not have taken the time to write up such an extensive guide to avoid being in these situations and what to do if someone tries to bait you into it. It’s truly disheartening to see so many people jumping on the pedo/ageplay train without having seen the facts or using some logical thought processes first.

        I won’t be engaging in this further because people like you just make me sad for human kind.

    • It actually is a Linden. Oatmeal Linden is well known in the community. A quick search of Oatmeal.Linden turns up as “Oatmeal Linden” without the period, as is the case with all system names, the period doesn’t show in some cases (depending on if the username is simply a first and last name a period is placed in between automatically, whereas a period stays if it’s put in the username intentionally as in “test.test”). I can confirm that is indeed, Oatmeal Linden. Lindens can also be on any sim, at any time, for any reason, responding to abuse reports, conducting requested maintenance by the sim owner, or otherwise. Anyways – Oatmeal could have been on the sim for a medley of reasons, we shouldn’t assume. Just my two penneth.
