#2 Make your own clothing then. Watch a tutorial or two on how to make a mesh in blender and then texture it. If you are that bent out of shape about not having the clothes you want it will be worth the investment of your time. Maybe others will like it too and you will join the club of people with positive income in SL. Or… Most likely… You will fail miserably at it after X number of hours and realize that creators only have so much time to create and will make designs that are going to sell best to maximize their own investment of time. Or….. You can bribe a quality designer to create one for you. Expect to pay at least L$250,000 or more for that (yes, that is how much their time is actually worth to have them take time away from making income generating content).

I was around when this was new… you all just have this problem about screaming pedo, because you’re bored. You literally picked a photo that represents the start of the kid community creative world. The only thing really wrong with this post is the person who dug back so dang far for a photo to post here. Those clothes don’t even work anymore for the body. Not sure who posted this, but you are right. Angelia is full of piss and drama. The club has been a drama fest for a long time. When I go in, I am never greeted, I always am never spoken to, and sometimes the management is too busy playing greedy or board games outside versus interacting with their VIPs.
I know the guy this is happening to also, He is a great guy with a heart of gold who deserves nothing that came to him the way it did. He has a lot of experience owning and managing clubs. He lives next to the club on a 1/4 Parcel and Angelia has blocked access so no one can go to his home from the club, which he opens to everyone because that’s how friendly this guy is.
So, if this guy is seeing this, I got your back too

From personal experience. I have to say. I’ve been on the receiving side of this type of situation myself.
However, I always try to understand the motivational influences beyond the obvious.
Angela is not by nature, a hate filled person. Quite the opposite, she has an incredibly sweet nature…. She simply has a tendency to be very “polarized” …. In other words, she cannot have two close friends that do not like each other… She is the kind of person that feels the “need” to “pick a side” Its not her fault and comes from alot of factors that are usually a result of a history of emotional strain and challenges most of us wouldn’t enjoy. (I know this and recognize it because I struggle from the same thing and it takes alot of effort to overcome when your a more “rigid” thinker)
I do feel bad for the guy with a heart of gold. Though thats likely his heart of gold that drew him to Angela because she has one as well . Its just incredibly difficult for her to manage multiple relationships… as far as being “Drama” I find that most people with a heartbeat have some form of drama…. if they don’t, its because they have allowed themselves to become rugs beneath the feet of others… so… from me to all of the “Drama” (sans intentional troll predatory snakes in the grass….you know who you are you fuckers….)

So… in closing… I have thought long and hard about this website…. When I first heard of it I was appalled… and frankly shocked at so many people I know being involved in it… ((Ya’lls speech patterns are recognizable ::giggles::))
for a long time I refused to look at it… and I may have a stress out about doing this later… but … what the fuck… ::shrugs:: its a place where a voice can be heard by many… so… how about a change of pace people?
I always felt that posting anonymously was exceptionally cowardly… and I have dealt with my fair share of bullying and stalking and all kinds of shit from people wanting to “Get a story” from some nasty bit of gossip…. All from people wearing their alts and sneaking about …. for what purpose I dont really know…. But I digress…. If and when I post…. I will always sign my name…. Why? Because thats what you do when your not lying, when your not afraid to say what you feel…. hell everyone who knows me knows I have no filter… the attention span of a gnat… and a number of character flaws… cowardice is not one of them…. Nor is backing down when I feel something needs to be voiced…. Angela was my SL mom for a while until there was a falling out between myself and another…. So I know Angela quite well and she is a dear dear person…. and kudos to her for running a successful club…. no one knows the details and really… the “drama” is all right here… every week starting a mass army of snowballs that gain momentum and wreak havoc on peoples SL lives… and some people scoff at those who take their SL seriously… but shouldn’t… you dont know anyones story…. perhaps they are medically confined or have some other reason for taking their SL seriously… this IS not a game… Second Life is a Virtual World with real people, real relationships real businesses making real money….
and on a side note for #43. When a person invests their time, love, friendship, trust, and effort into a RL/SL friendship…. then decide to check out their friends profile… find a huge list of other people … but not one mention of themselves… it can hurt…. and they should go to their friend and let their friend know how it made them feel… what happens after that will let them know if their friend values them or not… no point in holding onto someone if they dont value you back… its painful… but I recommend walking away and finding friends that are real and reciprocate the friendship you give them in return….

#2: Agreed. Even the top events that used to sell a wide variety of original mesh clothing have gone downhill lately. When every event could be named Whore Couture (instead of the one that actually has that name), it gets tiresome. I have nothing against sex workers. I just want better clothing options that don’t feature unzipped pants/shorts and skirts built to display vulvas or tops built with flopped out nipples. You wouldn’t even know better options exist if you go strictly by what is shown on Seraphim. #9 & #28: I’ve got mixed feelings about the Arcade and the other new Gacha alternatives. Next Up just sucks, and I will not play it. Mie-Pon is fine since I can see the next X items coming up. The Arcade’s option is acceptable (other than the 1 ball and 7 ball looking a little too much alike). I went in, got the few items I wanted (including a couple rares), and got out without spending nearly as much as in the past when I really wanted a rare. It was really easy to say to myself, “I don’t want to spend 350L to get that one item to drop down” and walk away, but I can always try again the next day to see if the right items come up.
Another benefit is that we don’t get snipers stealing our rares like we do/did with the other machines. If people still want to sell things on Marketplace, the Arcade’s machines make it easy to do that.
The bad side: All of the good stores are gone. Now maybe they’re out because they didn’t have any interest in creating Halloween bric-a-brac. Maybe they didn’t like the new system. Maybe they just decided to get out of the machine-oriented purchase dynamic. Maybe the Arcade played favorites and didn’t allow in better stores. I have no clue about the reason(s) for the half-empty venue, but on the whole, the items available were mostly low effort junk. If Arcade comes back for Christmas with this kind of junk, they’ll start losing money. I remember when it took days to get in Arcade, and now one can get in on the first try without even being premium.

Third, if you knew ANYTHING about the child community of SL, you’d know that their options even though more expansive than that of the male portion of SL are still quite limited in comparison to other target areas of SL, namely adults.
They have to use unrigged adult hair because there aren’t many, if any, rigged or fitted hairs for child avatars. They have to use unrigged attachments and items that were made for adult avatars in order to get their overall aesthetic to look even remotely childlike. For example, blushes, freckles, etc. are rarely made just for them and most days the ads don’t feature child avatars so they are working super hard to look that way.
But let’s bypass all that and focus on your accusation that this avatar’s look is borderline pedophilia.
She’s not using her ad or avi to propagate the idea of supporting a psychiatric disorder in which an adult has sexual fantasies about or engages in sexual acts with a prepubescent child. If anything, she’s helping roleplayers dress in the style of the age range of the characters for that which they choose to play…just like other roleplayers in this virtual world do.
If you want to address pedophilia, perhaps focus on the people who claim to actually be roleplaying adults who intentionally make their features childlike and dress in slutty attire while walking around in diapers demanding to be changed, or enrolling in schools that promote spankings of all kinds with dungeons that use BDSM implements as their punishment tools requiring you to be at least above the age of 10 while sucking on pacifiers and speaking in baby talk because their “Doms” prefer it.

– (the biggest one) learn to make and use a normal map and specular map. there are MULTIPLE free programs that do this. do not know why (new) creators refuse to use them!
– higher poly =/= higher quality. the best quality is what’s best optimised for the game. going heavy with in zbrush doesn’t mean shit if it completely drags the sim down. save that for a portfolio piece.
these are things brought up in the creators meetings constantly but LL doesn’t implement any bit of pentalty for it and no one reads the LL faq so it is what it is i guess.
