    If you actually understood why the team created a new UV, you would understand why creators are moving into more EvoX specific textures. In case you arent a developer for EvoX, the new UV has much more dedication of pixel space to the face in general, while cutting out useless space for the default ears, implementing AUX. The EvoX heads now have a clearner map to project faces onto, as well as freehand paint in Photoshop or Substance painter. When creators are finally given tools that they have been asking for for years, they are sure as hell going to support it. Everyone who has an Evo head can upgrade to Evox or stay with classic UV mapping. No one is forcing you to upgrade, but content creators and developers want to evolve šŸ™‚

    #11- So, there’s actually a reason for this! BOM layers are limited to 512×512 textures, while appliers can have up to 1024×1024 (in other words x2 the size.) However, having 1024×1024 textures on EVERYTHING increases lag, and the difference in visuals is miniscule if you’re not zooming in looking for issues. The introduction of BOM was an optimization attempt on LL’s part.

    #17- I think the practice of making things no-mod sucks so bad. It usually happens for one of three reasons: the creator thinks it’ll stop copybotting, they’re the kind of brand that sells color packs and they’re trying to keep people from being able to rip textures from packs they didn’t pay for, or they’re trying to make it so you can’t “tarnish” their work with bad modifications. All of them are stupid.

    #31- It’s distant enough that there wouldn’t be any legal repercussions over this. It’s just similar imagery and it’s using common phrase that isn’t solely tied to LOTR, it’s not using any that’s copyrighted. It’s about as derivative as your average parody, and they generally don’t get sued.

    #36- Honestly? It’s a pain in the ass to make appliers. It’s way easier to make a new BOM layer and put the texture in than it is to put a HUD together, edit the textures, edit the scripts, and test to make sure it works. Omega’s starting to drop off in popularity and it just stops being worth the effort at a certain point, just like any trend.

    #42- I can’t really speak on the rest of it, but you do know sims are allowed to have their own rules, right? They can tell you to have a child-safe profile if they want, go somewhere else if you don’t like it. Don’t call something nazi germany just cause you’re mad you can’t have your dick on your profile in a child avatar sim, dipshit.

      There are many talented designers that participate in the Saturday Sale, and a lot of them create something new and amazing. There are a few designers that do a (boring) recolor of an old item, or just release something old at a reduced price. I know which ones get my business.

Designers charge so little in here and get harassed constantly for being over priced, but when you really break down the prices, it’s legit pennies for days/weeks worth of work an sometimes a huge initial cost to them. People who work in the industry will understand how this is an improvement overall for secondlife, the workflow and mapping just makes sense and we are tired of making things that don’t have any longevity to them. What if SecondLife ended tomorrow? These creators have a skillset that is more specific to Seondlife than any modern game out there. While rethinking the way we mesh, script and texture things in SL we can apply these skills to other virtual spaces. Don’t ask a designer to go backwards when they clearly want to go forward with their skillsets. If you want something made, you will eventually make it for yourself in whatever capacity you see fit.

Thor made a mistake, probably more of an oversight on his part and here is this fat faced tart trying to obliterate him over facebook. It is bullying and it is disgusting and no one should condone what she has done. If I was her I’d be careful, the biggest danger to child avis are other child avis and that two faced trollop is pissing off the wrong people with her bitchy behaviour.

        Tell me if you saw a family members name being spread around in someone’s fb post you wouldn’t show them? Get real. You can use me as your martyr to make yourself look better if you need to, it’s all good.

      • Showing someone a screenshot privately is completely different to giving it to people to publicly post about and that is what makes the drama. You clearly can’t accept any fault in what you’ve done and are only willing to be a completely innocent bystander in all of this, maybe it helps you feel better and feeds your ego.

      • You understand that I literally passed it to Bean privately right? I had NO IDEA she’d post it publicly and wasn’t happy at all that she did, hence why she’s no longer family. You clearly know nothing.

      • You should be less worried about who screenshotted what and more worried about why you’re acting in a way that needs screenshotted in the first place.
