    I 100% agree. I do not understand why the stop to make for past heads (I have LEL Simone with NO plans to update or go to BOM at this time until I find one that I absolutely love). You creators once had the ability to make and sell face stuff and hair for the past heads, why not continue to make them? You are missing out on $$$$$.
    I would love to hear back from the creators on this.

    • It’s a pretty simple answer: With the EvoX update, the UV maps changed to be completely unique from the System/LL UVs, meaning if you want to make something that’s both BOM/Omega and EvoX compatible, you have to do it completely from scratch twice. Making things for SL is a constant balance of managing customer wants and chasing what’ll be profitable enough to spend time on, and right now that’s EvoX since it’s all new and shiny.
      Even the laziest workflow will take probably a couple hours to complete (from start to listing,) way more than that for people who actually care about what they’re pumping out, and the goal is to make at least minimum wage off a product.

    • Your complaints, and all others like them, are like people carrying an obsolete phone (how old is Simone now, that was one of the first… a 6 year old head at least? 7?) and crying that no one is making accessories for it anymore, smugly insisting those companies are missing out on money as if they didn’t consider that. News flash- most people who don’t update are more broke than people who do, therefore spend less money, and content creators know that.     Speaking of greed, this is your answer for LeL Evo X. I haven’t and won’t be buying an update. Each to their own but if you feel impulsed to buy a literal first update… you might have an addiction to buying mesh heads, and thats why Lelutka did this, because they have observed that people will blow away their lindens for an update. RIP free updates. 

    • Uh, the update from Evo to Evo X was completely free, even on the heads they gave away for free; how stupid are you? In fact, when has any mesh head creator ever charged for an update? Even Catwa’s greedy ass doesn’t do that. Way to completely make some shit up to get your knickers in a twist about, Karen.

      Also Happy Weekend is the best weekend sale easy, so you’re just entirely wrong on every point. FLF is great and all but the participation is too limited, and only allows 2 items meaning max, 2 colors of anything can be discounted without breaking their rules. You don’t know what you’re talking about and your opinions are bad.

    • that’s #14 and actually. Their stuff is reasonably priced given the quality. Unlike some places/creators which have overpriced items. A lot of people will shit on vae’s skins and say they’re over priced. How ever, they’re priced that high because most of the skins are collabs with trap. So to make any sort of profit for BOTH of them, they need to be priced high. You’re not supporting 1 creator when you buy those skins. You’re supporting 2.

      • Plastik/Petrichor’s actual skins are complete rubbish. Look at them a little closer. Misaligned parts all over for most of the popular bodies. Seams all up and down the legs, arms, hands, feet and sometimes the torso. The only reason the skins sell is because of the 2nd creator (Trap/Other) that she is for the most part using. Trap is quality, unlike Petrichor. As for the quality when mesh and textures on them are involved that varies depending on who actually made that, considering she sometimes swaps those people out more than she changes her tampons.

        Unless you consider pretending to poke at something in 3D modeling software that someone else made, making very basic simple objects for show, applying basic Photoshop filters to ancient skin templates, and tinting textures a high level skill.

        Trap’s contribution are worth the price. Petrichor devalues it.

Secondly there are so many mesh bodies and heads that are free or extremely cheap that allow you to still wear system clothing via bom. Either keep up with the times or learn to make your own stuff because the Majority have long since moved on from system avatars. Good riddance I say.

    • If your avatars tits aren’t out or you’re not on the level of people like Jaywen, Seclorum or Hikaru, don’t expect to receive much attention. I used to blog on my own time. I got bombarded with hundreds of faves and follows and comments as long as my avatars tits were exposed but the minute I changed my style and started doing something that I was Much more comfortable with, now I’m lucky to even get 40 faves and have been sitting at 800 followers (Which I’m beyond thankful for) for the past year. Meanwhile I have seen people with brand new accounts post the most boring and effortless looking “egirl hentai UwU” photos (obviously not speaking about the above mentioned. Their work is fantastic and deserves to be seen!) and just half ass the credits in their description on Flickr and call it “blogging” and they jump from 200 followers to 1k in a span of two months. It sucks.

  32. #22- Almost nobody has made standard sizes since fitmesh was introduced in 2014. It’s been 7 years, at least start arguing for fitmesh that’ll fit system avs…

    #23- It does suck that you can’t be the height you want, but SL has been size-adjusted for huge shapes since basically the beginning. And unlike RL, you can’t easily prove that you’re NOT a child, and everyone just wants to make sure their asses are covered.
    Adding- The reason why stuff in SL is so huge is mainly due to the camera limitations. Unlike the sims, objects don’t disappear when they’re blocking your camera. Having everything be huge and spaced out lets you have more room for the camera.

    #38- I can understand wanting static pets, but non-animesh animated pets are LAGGY, let’s not bring those back thanks.

  38. 23- The measurements in SL are all messed up, always have been. The heights given when you make a shape are totally inaccurate. To make a female avi who ::looks:: to be around 5’5″, you have to make her 6’4″. I always recommend to ppl who don’t have a bg in art to google ‘figure drawing human proportions’ to help them make shapes, ignore the height numbers in edit appearance and just go by how it looks.

    You’re right tho, adult avis tend to be super tall, and this has been going on for years before mesh bodies existed. It’s annoying, especially for builders of stuff like furniture or vehicles, trying to fit all these giants. When I buy any double bed in SL, it’s always huge!!! like big enough for 8 people (nothin wrong with that if that’s your thing lol).

Using slider numbers is pointless; aim for being proportionate to your environment in a way that feels familiar to you, if you’re looking for that “rl height” experience. If you’re 5’3″ in rl, couches do not come up to your shoulder- that’s why those avis look underage.

If you go to an event and there is a just learning designer, poorly textured, poorly rigged item, marked at like 99L but then you see this really nice set of items, but its about 299L for it? Which one you going to buy because you know you are getting quality for your money. What is it? like 1.50 of ur RL cash (not always the case, the item cost could be higher for next said reason), this person who did a lot better just spent hours on these items of their time and want to earn their time back to put into uploads, tier, some spending cash. You get mad that these big designers are making a lot of money because so many have a large customer base. SO WHAT?! They fucking earned it.   52. #12/#16 You can’t flat out call bloggers mediocre when there has been amazing work posted by bloggers that don’t have a bigger following, who don’t get picked and get overlooked for who is more popular. I’ve seen bloggers who post in only like 5 groups and get a ton of likes on Flickr and I’ve seen bloggers who post in a ton of groups and not get a lot of likes. The amount of groups a pic is in does not equate to “fishing for likes” because some creators prefer their bloggers post in a lot of groups on flickr to push advertising for their products basically. I’ve also seen creators literally ask for the amount of followers you have as a blogger to even be considered for their brand, so quality of the photo doesn’t matter in every case (ie every blogger picked has over 5k followers on Flickr). And as for bloggers spamming pics, if the group creator/moderator accepts the photos, then it is what it is.

    Another thing, every blogger isn’t fishing for free stuff, there are some who actually enjoy blogging as a hobby and use their blogged photos as their artwork. There’s a group on FB that highlights the bad bloggers that literally steal from creators, have bad attitudes, etc. not all bloggers behave in the same manner.

    It hurts to be rejected, and while I can understand being upset over not being chosen for a brand, I would never openly complain, because you never know if that could ruin your chances of being chosen for any other brands, or that same brand in the future. Most creators/blogger managers don’t give a reason for rejecting a blogger. It could be:

    1: Your following
    2: Amount of views / faves
    3: Creativity
    4: Their personal preference for who they want to represent their brand (Avi’s look, have you blogged for them previously, etc)
    5: The quality of photos
    6: Not enough space to be chosen
    7: Incorrect Format of blogging
    8: Your reputation as a blogger / consistency

    And the list goes on, but my point is, you’ll never know because 9 times out of 10 you won’t get an individual reason for rejection and you’ll just have to try again in the future if you really want to blog for the brand. Just because you apply doesn’t mean you’re guaranteed acceptance.

    • I was in both orgs, TPX and GOD. TPX history and GOD history is no where the same. TPX was on SL before GOD frat was even made. Everyone knew TPX was on SL, just not as active. BOI only accepts Studs (les woman) TGX accepts all genders. I liked both orgs, but i seen this comment and i know 100 Percent this isn’t factual. I do know that most orgs that transfer from imvu to SL change things in their orgs due to items being takin on SL. Both GTA/GOD

  92. #33 This is very true though cc school hasn’t been the most stable since they fired Ari.they tried to bring teachers back but no one wanted to work under Lucy.even who they had training to be the next principal didn’t stay.they ended up doing everything with no support.

    • I love foxwood so much more then CC foxwood has a story line they are much more in line with MM then a community school and Ari was just as bad as scarelt.

      • FH is really nice to look at and sooo big, too bad theres no RP going on and the management is toxic

      • CC is under new management. Ari is gone. Classes are RP driven and hands on.
        Best school by far.
