    • Um Yeah, that shits ridiculous… I went back to my regular one. Its too much and not worth the jump in complexity.

      • I mean the body itself [1.3] is amazing, I will give them credit for that. The curves, the belly chubby skin options, the legs and breasts are gorgeous. I wanted to go with the Kupra originally but the weird breast shape stopped me and the fact that there aren’t as many clothing options for it. Another thing that I like about the legacy body is that I can get away with wearing some of my Slink Hourglass clothes on it if that particular outfit didn’t come with a Legacy set. But I will say the complexity is insane. Plus I have a Lelutka Evolution head and with the bento hud on plus the 1.3 Legacy body my complexity is hardly ever under 80k-90k

      • I heard that TMP has a bad rep so I was worried when I purchased the 1.3 body but I admit that I do love it. It’s a really natural looking body with nice curves. Not crazy about the hud though. AND THIS 1.4 UPDATE? WTF. My complexity jumped AT LEAST 40k higher than wearing the old body. I went back to 1.3. My complexity is around 50k with 1.3 but around 90k with 1.4

      • I suspect the fix to environmental options that the complexity may have jumped up since the settings are working now even if you don’t use the legacy hud skin.

    • Plus, there might be other factors that go into why a photo wasn’t chosen. Was it the right size, format, did it show nudity/not, is it set to the right maturity level, was there any effort put into choosing the title or did you just put “Pic4237”? So don’t assume the person who doesn’t post your stuff has a grudge against you. Just ask politely if there is any problem with your pics, why they haven’t been chosen, and what you might do to change that. Key word here is politely (although after posting this conversation, pretty sure that ship has already sailed).

    • What you also need to realize is that some of the “elite” of Flickr also pay for those likes. I have seen photos that are drop dead amazing and literally in 100s of groups and they get maybe 50 likes at that. But the person that puts their photos in 3 groups gets 400 likes……. mmhmm… Shady be shady.

      • I don’t think it’s necessarily they’re buying faves (those are easy to spot when you check a person’s faves and it’s all empty flickr accounts, etc). I think it’s more the person lives on Flickr. Flickr is like any social platform, it’s very reciprocal. It’s why you have people commenting, faving and following a ton of people because they hope to get just a fraction back. I’ve seen a person put their photo in no groups and get 400+ faves, but they have over ten thousand followers, so more people seeing their photo show up in their stream.

      • I see that. being more active can gain you numbers, plenty of those that are using bots or spending all of their time giving faves to anything and everything just to get numbers and often times their content isn’t all that great… for the OP- personally I would start caring less about numbers, what others are doing and put that energy into your own work, what can you do to improve your own content, experiment, play with editing, stop trying to be like everybody else with a mindset of being on someones blog is the say all and golden stamp of approval.

      • Agreed, which is why I see groups like that as doing us a favor. It takes talented artists and puts their latest works on display for us, essentially creating a rotating monthly exhibit of art. That gives artists a chance to shine, a chance to be seen, and I’ve personally been introduced to a lot of really talented people I might never have seen if their work was not showcased in this way.

        Just like anything in life, the more you expose yourself to it, the better you’re going to get at it. If you want to be a good writer, read a lot. If you want to be a good chef, you have to eat and taste a lot of food, and experiment with it. If you want to get good at sex, you have to do more than masturbate alone in your room. And if you want to be a good artist, you can’t avoid museums your whole life. You have to see what other people are doing, and learn from it (and hopefully not blatantly copy it in your own work). But maybe I’m giving this person to much credit by comparing their pics to artworks, because clearly they care less about improving than being praised.

        And I get it, we all want to be validated. We all crave justification, love, understanding for our feelings, hopes, fears, etc. We want to feel like we’re not alone, that other people not only feel what we do, but they see us and hear us and appreciate us. But unfortunately, we’re not alone in screaming into the void, either, so there’s a lot of competition for attention. So if you can’t deal with the disappointment, leave the group and just do your own thing. Maybe one day you can come back and prove that you have what it takes.

      • Yes, it’s always sad to see people who follow and fave thousands of others pretty much just so they can boost their own numbers. When the number of people you’re following is disproportionately larger than the number following you, something is out of whack, because there’s no way, unless you live on Flickr all day long, that you can reasonably keep up with thousands and thousands of accounts. Hell, I periodically go through and see who’s not posted in 6 months or more and unfollow, because if you go that long without posting, either you’re done with SL, or you’re dead. Either way, you’re not going to be posting new material.

      • Depends on what type of pics you take also. I started my flickr to post pics of my avis in one of the escorting sims I worked in to help draw in customers. As long as I was posting my virtual nudes, I was raking in hundreds of likes and follows but the minute I realized that escorting wasn’t for me, changed my avatar and went on to put in more effort and take actual pics of other things that I enjoyed, all of the sudden the likes and follows came to a halt. I’ve been at the same number for a year now (also started posting a lot less which was honestly the best thing I’ve ever done. Before, I was trying to do a new edit and post daily but it quickly became too overwhelming), meanwhile an ex-friend of mine made her own flickr page a few months ago and started posting oversaturated nudie avatar pics and within a few months she jumped to 1.4k followers but she’d get mad when she never got shitloads of faves on the pics that weren’t her showing off her tits.

      • Funny thing is, when I post nudes of myself (as a dude), I get fewer likes than the ones that are not nude. So really, the world is just full of men looking for naked chicks, so if you want likes, be a naked chick (easy enough to do in SL).
