    The fact that you haven’t been banned is beyond me. The only thing I can think of as to why you haven’t been banned is because of how much you stimulate the virtual economy.
    Your store is *trash* not an ounce of quality is produced from you. It’s another sad excuse for you to feel like you are successful, something to fill the void of your pathetic and meaningless life.
    It’s unfortunate that you will probably be on SecondLife day in – day out for many many more years to come and I only wish you would find some real help to figure out why you are so angry, why you need to feed the trolls, and why you cant be satisfied with creating meaningful relationships with people beyond what they can do for you, or what you can take from them.
    Lastly, quit making up stories about people, stop CREATING false drama for other people who don’t want to be involved with you. Get over yourself, no one cares about you -that- much. You insert yourself where you aren’t wanted and its obvious when you should shut your mouth and leave.

    Essentially what gas lighting is, is brainwashing. Slow and deliberate psychological manipulation that results in the victim questioning their own reality. The ultimate aim of gas lighting is to disorientate the victim so that they begin to doubt what is real and what is not. It is far more effective than people generally understand and if used over years and years, can lead to all sorts of poor mental health outcomes for the victim.
    Narcissists will use denial, misrepresentation, lies and contradiction to slowly trap the victim in this distorted reality and to maintain control over them. By making the victim feel ‘crazy’ the victim is less likely to ask for help, reach out to friends and family for support or, leave the relationship.
    Isolated, the victim will be also accused by the abusers unaware friends that will join the gaslighting. The abuser will manipulate the more people they can to believe the victim is crazy / is the one abusing them.

    Projection
    Toxic people such as narcissists are masterful blame shifters. They will literally stop at nothing to avoid accountability. They will often blame the other party for all the things they themselves are doing, or have done. Think the cheating spouse.
    The husband in the play subtly fiddles with the lighting in their flat over time and when the wife raises her concerns about the lighting problem, the husband convinces her she is imagining it and in fact, that she is going crazy. Of course the lighting wasn’t the only issue. The woman was also beginning to think she was a thief when in fact her husband was taking and misplacing things himself and then trying to convince the wife that she had done it!
    This defence mechanism plays out in many ways but ultimately aims to distract the other party and make them carry the emotional burden. By shifting the blame the argument then becomes about the other party proving their innocence, thus allowing the narcissists behaviour to slip past.
    If you bring out evidences, they will probably say ‘it’s in the past’ and refuse to be held accountable.

    Triangulation
    This tactic can be extremely destructive to a person’s sense of self. It can involve all sorts of scenarios but what it basically means is bringing in a third party (literally or not) to back the narcissist’s case or to make you question your own abilities, worthiness or sanity.
    For example they will get a new friend or partner just to show you how wrong and unworth you were.
    They will say you are ungrateful and throw at your face everything they have done for you (probably nothing, just normal things like spending time with you) and blame on you everything in their life that is going wrong. Perhaps they are the ones not appreciating everything you have done for them and their life is the result of their own actions, not yours.

  48. #35 – yes, yes, and yes. I have been trying for months to get on this list but to no avail I guess they don’t think my work is good enough. I feel like that list of the same 20 people are just the original posters friend circle is all. Not really recognition of good art when it’s literally the same exact people just in a different order every month.

    • Agreed, and it seems the more skin you show the more likely you are to get in it. Or in some cases, just your back shows. I’m so confused by this list, especially when I have seen some super amazing photos that I thought should have made it in there, and then don’t. The year end calendar was a hoot…(in a bad way) I was like wait a minute…who puts a horror picture down for December? That made NO sense. Maybe someone should start a new page and truly pick some cool talent and maybe do like a best of the best for the month and that person could tell people how they did their photo so that people wanting to learn and improve can!

    • I agree. They are all the same people and it seems to be she only picks ones with higher numbers. There are a few amazing ones on there and some very talentless. Been looking on there each month and yes totally the same people. The only ones that really stand out to me that are “WOW” are Lavarock and Jost.

    • Sadly this is true of this site now. It never use to be. It use to show such a diverse selection of SL talent, now its the same ones with the same look , over and over.

    • All true. There is some talent but most are boring and low quality. Favoritism too. Their are always photos by her sister and her son and neither have an ounce of talent. All about who you know. The list is just joke.
