    • This one had me rushing for the SL terms of service as I know Germany tends to be quite strict on enforcing their laws regarding banned symbols – this outfit seems to have the swastika and eagle as well as the skull and bones symbols which as far as I can see are illegal in Germany. I’ve seen other games have specifc rules banning Nazi symbols so was a bit surprised SL didn’t. That said google ‘nazi’ in the marketplace and SL is pleasingly short of Third Reich stuff.

      • Nazi stuff is actually not allowed in the market since it falls under community standards against hate speech. The only time I’ve seen the content tolerated is use in WWII accurate sims, but even then, it’s a risky venture since it will still get policed sometimes. A lot of the sims simply choose to not use the iconography to avoid the hassle. You’ll also find uniforms and accessories resembling Nazi uniforms on the market, but many get around the policy by leaving off identifying icons. Reporting individuals with Nazi content on their avatars and profiles seems to be case by case. In general though, LL does not tolerate any non-educational/historical uses. If users are posting the images off second Life however, there isn’t much that can be done by LL until it’s caught in-world.

    13. Dumbness technically  means being unable to speak as in mute. It is not really about a degree of articulation or intelligence, so it sounds very wrong in this context.

    Wow, that is a doozy of a sentence. Let’s unpack it! “Or” is the interjection- it is meant to be used here passionately. Taking it out, the sentence would be “ You’ve raised three great kids of whom you’re endlessly proud of, but your mother in law….” The independent clause went first, so there is no need for a comma. Also, your series is incorrect and has become comma slices. It should be “makes snide comments about how unkempt your house is or that your kids need lessons in manners or they need to dress better. These are all comments she is making so they shouldn’t be isolated. I would also suggest a colon here as well “ makes snide comments: about how unkempt your house is, that your kids need lessons in manners, or they need to dress better.

You wanted to say there is a plural amount  but you used a singular noun. Your order of adjectives was switched as well. if you’re using more than one adjective before a noun, they are subject to a certain hierarchy. The rule is that multiple adjectives are always ranked accordingly: opinion, size, age, shape, colour, origin, material, and purpose.
    27. I don’t mind the “ain’t” as a word but you wanted “Weren’t” so it reads “Weren’t you banned from Flickr? Do everyone a favor and quit, why don’t you?” 
     
    29. “Man, everyone I know prefers QUALITY roleplay.” Remember- singular subject gets a verb with an “s” on it.

    29. “Don’t count RP that makes you have to think to solve scenarios whats that about?” It’s an interruptive phrase so I would add a dash so “Don’t count Rp that makes you have to think to solve scenarios- what’s that about?”

    39. I agree! This is interesting because it falls under all sorts of logical fallacies! It could be considered an ad-hominem fallacy. An ad-hominem fallacy is committed when, rather than talking about the actual argument being made, an opponent directly attacks the person making the argument. It could also fall under snob appeal fallacy—i.e., the best arguments are by people who spell all words correctly. You misspelled a word in your argument; therefore, your argument is not a good argument. It also is a very blatant “red herring” or “non sequitur” meaning that their point is irrelevant for the validity of your argument, changing the subject. 

    That being said, that first sentence is missing a comma. It should be “If you are going to discredit an entire argument or person based on spelling alone, that means you are incredibly shallow and not intelligent enough to grasp complex concepts.  Also I would exchange “which” with “this” because it ties better to that person not understanding complex concepts so it reads “This just means that the person you are insulting is probably smarter than you.” You have to make those verbs match!  

    41.  “I will be the one to cut the puppet string, very soon both will know what I can bring!” That is a comma splice, it should be “string, and very”.
    41. There is a comma splice in the next sentence as well. “Thank me later for answering your prayers, and spoon she will see how no one cares.” 
    41. You added an unneeded comma. “Even the “Bliss’ful” bunny can’t save her” is a complete thought.  So that comma in front of “because” is unneeded because when the independent clause comes first, there is no comma between it and the dependent clause.

    43. See this is interesting. I am very interested in the etymology of words. According to Conscious Style guide, it seems that transgender is one word while trans men and trans women are two words. So here is a situation where that pesky hyphen is unneeded. 

    That being said, whatever beef you have with this woman, she did not choose to be female. If you know any trans person, the experience of realizing they are in the wrong body and trying to correct it is a living hell they wish upon no one. Her choice would have been to simply be born in the correct body without the need for surgeries or hormones or targeted violence. 

     Your post is surface-level empathic but it clear that you have some real flaws in your understanding of transgender people and don’t really care about them or LGBTQ+ are going through. I’m sorry to kill Santa for you, but there is no place virtually or on this earth where you can escape racism, sexism, or the results of oppression. Where humans go, they will follow just as surely as the sun follows the moon. SL is deeply, deeply ingrained with racism- look at how Black avatars are targeted for abuse in trolling videos, the serious shortage in Black skins, and how many POC players for years went as white avatars as not to be abused.     You don’t have to care, literally there is no law that forces you to care unless you own a business, but if that person is so annoying just block them and stop submitting TERFy bullshit to Secrets.

Built in hairbases, the entire color hud, the entire styling hud all for under 500. Even dark hair has texture and shine. OTHER HAIR CREATORS ON THE OTHER HAND make you choose which color you want. You get one group of colors for 300-400 on average. Want all the colors? Prepare to pay 1000+ for a fatpack. THEREFORE BLESS YOU DAVID COOPER for giving us everything for half the price and actually making wearable hair with realistic hairlines. The new color hud is fine. The dark colors just have different tinted shine options but all the same old colors are still there. I don’t take up for creators often but don’t ruin what we have with good creators

    Do people not even know templates exist? FFS, a significant percentage of clothing stores put out are from templates. We all know who the “designers” are that rely solely on templates. I give kudos to those who take templates and make something unique out of them beyond slapping on a texture.

I have always felt like I did not belong, and the moment I began my journey into another culture, I felt finally like I was home inside of myself. I felt like I finally “got” what was different about me. I got my eye surgery done in 2014 and honestly it was the best decision I ever made. I have never felt more like my true self, inside and out.
