    I remember in some old youtube comments Naria was basically saying Gypsies deserve their bad reputation because they are thieves, criminals and steal from the governments by being on welfare. In USA, very similiar arguments are typically said by racists against ethnic minorities. But what Naria and racists do not understand is that the systematic oppression of these minoroties is what truly leads to crimes.  ? * * * * * Anyways, picture this: Two Germans who are best friends. Neither of them are Jewish. But one of them loves to call the other “Jewish ” as a joke all the time. Seems harmless, dont you think? Except Germany was the country that caused the Holocaust and we all know what that world event did to the Jewish population. Taking that into consideration, it might be offensive to the Jewish audience to witness the two Germans talking this way, agreed?  ? * * * * * Now, Naria calling Tim as “Gypsy” has a touch of that mood stated above.
    Neither of them are Gypsy. Additionally, think of Europe’s harsh treatment towards Gypsies. And most noteworthy, Tim’s country Romania had enslaved the Gypsy people before. A Gypsy living in Romania carries an extreme social stigma that even if successful, a Gypsy must hide their ethnicity in Romania. So when Naria calls Tim a “Gypsy”, it isnt simply just a “joke.” There’s a lot of background information to the story. This is just another example of the numerous microagressions that Naria constantly displays towards many ethnic minorities around the world.

  4. #1 Wow where to even begin with this one LOL. Not surprised in the slightest. The only good sim the Bitterwick owner had was Convergence: The Lost City (though it still had its faults) and he went and fucked everyone over when he closed that sim and made everyone that was a veteran player start from scratch and erase all of their hard work to give noobies a fair chance. Not to mention CV3 was absolute fucking garbage with the UGLIEST build. To condone lynching as a “problem solver” to anyone breaking the law is so disgusting.

    As for Bitterwick, I never went solely because of how the owner treats anyone that isn’t his friend. He closes Sims that aren’t doing well before the 1st year anniversary of the opening with the same excuses and ALWAYS opens another the next year thinking things will be different. Money, illness and time always seem to be the reasons, and while in no way am I invalidating such reasons to close a sim because they are very valid, for him it’s literally verbatim the excuses he uses every single year for a closing when it’s just lack of traffic due to how he treats people. Oh and he likes to talk shit about other sim owners of different Sims out of pettiness.

    Z, if you read VS, just fucking stop making Sims, dude. You ruined it when you closed CV2. You and P are horrible, vile people and you treat those that have been nothing but genuinely good to you. Oh and your little posse doesn’t like you for you, just your status

    Tim is from Romania, And there is a very large portion of Gypsy (Roma people) living in Romania.
    There is a common worldwide misconception that Gypsy are Romanian, but no, they arent.
    Not helping is that the similar sounding names confuses people even more lol
    Basically Roma People and Romanians People are completely different right?
    So when Naria calls Tim a Gypsy constantly, it is further perpetuating this misinformation.
    Naria said it so much that even Naria’s own little fanclub calls Tim a “gypsy” too.

    Then something worse, for Naria to make jokes calling Tim a Gypsy is somehow very twisted. How?
    You learn that ancient Romania enslaved the Gypsy people. Its horrible.
    Let’s reinterate: Tim’s country of Romanian people enslaved the Gypsy people, but yet Tim is now getting called Gypsy. Further trivializing the sad history. Therefore it is a bad joke, in bad taste, in many different ways. When will Naria learn?

  10. 12. First of all, there’s a lot of good heads that aren’t on your list. I hope more designers start to support them. Secondly, I think any head that looks best to YOU, the person wearing it, is the way to go. You can’t listen to the wannabe “elites” who call certain heads noobish or cloneish. I’ve been on SL a long time and I’ve never seen any two people look exactly the same [unless done on purpose]. Try them all and see what looks good to you.

    But here’s my take on the heads you listed:

    Catwa: Easiest to manipulate but their heads tend to have chubby cheeks and weird ear placement. Pretty cute head overall. Hud is ok. Would be nice if the Catwa creator updated the current heads instead of making a bunch of new ones.

    Genus: Worst side profile and eyes. Can look good with the right skin but can easily go wrong. Hardest to manipulate. I actually like the hud for Genus. The creator does try to update the heads but also keeps getting hit with DMCA complaints. Not sure what’s that about.

    Lelutka: The most advanced of the three. Easy to use BOM. Pretty cute but the noses aren’t very attractive. Fairly easy to manipulate. Hud is nice. Starting to make too many heads instead of focusing on updating the current ones. We’ll see how that plays out

    DONT let this decide for you though. TRY the DEMOS with demo skins and see what you like best. What some like, others may not.

    #25 – No tattoo creator on Second Life actually draws their own tattoos or designs them. They go to pintrest and cut out pictures and whatnot. This is why a lot of tattoos look badly done because no one in their right mind would get that done. The tattoos are either poorly done or there are too many tattoos. Very few people have their entire body covered in tattoos.

    #29 – Neither of them have originality because they are using a template.

    Imo, people should never call eachother gypsies if they are poor (im looking at u Naria!!!), because, let’s be serious right now…..some of the gypsies here in romania or anywhere else in Europe have houses worth more than Naria’s entire life, lol.
    And yes, gypsies are not treated very good by the system, that’s why most of them are homeless, they even send their children to beg on the street for money or food (100% real, but sad at the same time) and most of gypsy children have no education. They are treated very bad by almost everyone in the Europe. We should treat everyone equally.

    Most Americans have no idea about what goes on in Europe. One of my term papers were about the the comparisons between African American culture and Roma Gypsy culture, being worlds apart but facing similar struggles and challenges, especially both of these people faced slavery too. And in modern times, they are facing police brutality too. Roma people gets shot unarmed just like Black people get shot in America. If you do a bit of research, the problem is everywhere in Europe, even in Slovenia.

  25. #27: This event is owned by a charlatan named Alucard Tepes (ArcangeIV Resident), the owner of Anatomy (not the eye store), and that is the biggest reason it’s failing.

    The event is run by Tepes’ blogger manager. Tepes themselves did next to nothing for the event other than the posters and the booths. Tepes probably did this deliberately because not only does their blogger manager have connections they could draw from, not many large store owners want to attach their names to anything with Tepes’ name on it because they were called out for art theft, false claims of “original mesh” work, and being a general asshole back in February (for the full tea on that, check out the other drama website for a write up with links to the Plurk Tepes was exposed on).

    On the topic of the booths (the only part of the event Tepes built), they claim to be a mesher. However, they couldn’t mesh a basic hollowed-out cube for the event booths and instead built them poorly out of prims (and didn’t even use the prims to try to reduce Li). They used single prims for each side, aligned them crookedly with a lot of clipping, and textured them with textures they found on google (they searched “metal texture”). In some places the default LL wood texture is still present because of the overall ineptitude it was built with.

    Store owners are leaving the event and/or not participating next round all because of Tepes’ involvement. No one wants anything to do with them after what happened in February; and the blogger manager is unfortunately caught in the crossfire and left with doing nearly all the work on an event doomed to fail, because Tepes decided to hide behind his name, and attempt to dupe people into participating and giving them the accolade of a successful event. Too bad it was exposed.

    • #9 Most creators for sl re post there mesh on cgtrader and other sites to get the most out of there work and some contract other ceators. Unless there claiming that it wasnt contracted and that it was exclusive just for sl then they can do with that mesh what they want. Purchaseing custom mesh is not new and creators shouldnt be obligated to tell you what is and isnt contracted. I personally make mesh for other ceators in sl we are humans and cant be perfect at everything some people are just better at certain parts of creating that is why collabs are a thing and sometimes people just want to buy a mesh and texture it or rig it which is a task in and of itself but want it to be more exclusive then just full perm mesh. That is where cgtrader and hiring other desingers comes in. Also creators cant be expected to be releasing 5+ items a month and not recive anyhelp all the time…hell most of the best creators are actually teams of people ..mad pea, drd, doux.

        Now if you take a moment and let blood cycle through your brain a few rounds and actually look at the screenshots and other products by that same CG artist. You will see they are displaying the clothes on Maitreya body kit and Belleza body kit. So no a big brand on SL also wouldn’t be stupid enough to buy a mesh for $10 and sell it on SL either, specially a reputable brand. Those meshes look like they were clearly ordered for SL and the artist was given a copy of the kit.

        My guess? It’s a disgruntled ex-mesher for hire. Which is funny because they all claim they make their own mesh and only hire a “rigger”. If you go through that guy’s CG trader account you will find more than just that one release.

I was evicted a while ago and spoke to Anthony Gartner and sorted it – though it took a bit of effort and to be fair to him he is decent about it. That said three months later I was evicted for the second time having made no skin changes so clearly the same admin have seen me for months and done nothing, but on this occasion acted. The avi in the picture is clearly adult. I respect them for making an effort to remove kiddywink avis and they even stopped that silly “predator/prey” event due to the number of kiddywinks it attracted. The problem is they are being a bit over zealous. It’s a shame as for a free beach it is amongst the best with regular traffic. Presuming you are the evicted person in the photo, you have to submit a pic of your avi to Anthony Gartner to be taken off the automatic eviction thing, best hope he doesn’t read this website as you may not ever get back in!

      • your point is valid. he should have also posted the donation proof to his flickr etc. When I looked him up, I do not see any proof or even a mention of donating the proceeds to the actual charity. he’s the reason most designers won’t participate in fundraisers.

  56. #1 Only sims that have a presence at the HUB and rent an ad board there are on that notecard, it is on the sim owners to rent an ad spot there if they want to get on that notecard. They don’t go looking across SL for RP sims they have to advertise there.

    • I think that fox place just had a huge event this weekend. I saw it on instagram and went with my family there were like 70 people there made it kind of laggy but it was alot of fun. There sim must be kind of active if there always posting. Not really sure about the other places but if there paying each week theres probubly people there.

      • all the creators that participated were told to donate 100% profit to the charity which went to alt, so almost 80k and + 20k from sales alone adding up to around 100k (half of that money he donated to the alt handing the money and back to himself before the event started) the monies that were actually donated never went to Trevor Project. He, Paradox Messmer (or also now known as Paradox Mercury as of now) had well over a month to donate the money and be transparent about it but he didn’t, he was hoping people would be silent to the scam. Using creators and people to make his event happen…

      • I was one of the designers it was 15k to be a sponsor and a extra 5k per event you wanted to sponsor …ended up being about 35k….won’t be doing that again without proof it’s actually going to the organization…I was even hesitant on paying that much for a spot but they kept saying oh but it’s going to a good cause … sure :/ 

      • I never charged anyone to be a designer in my event. That is a flat out lie. This was for the Soundproof Pride Fundraiser. I can show the notecard I sent out to all my designers, saying “No charge to be in this event at all”.

If these are out of date or you don’t have them it can be a bit more time consuming. Admittedly he mentioned personal problems or whatever and this is a bit vague. To be frank, he’d be better off keeping the money in SL and paying The Trevor Project from his own money as he will encounter Tillia fees/spread in conversion rates etc, but you;d have to have a spare $380 or not have a better use for $380 from your own savings. We await the proof!

      • It definitely is Tiddles behind this, after he and I broke up, he’s had a vendetta out against me, purely out of sheer spite and childish pettyness, because that’s the kind of person he is. He’s been known by others to throw tantrums and to burn bridges with people as soon as someone pisses him off. He’s recently tried to get me banned from stores that I like to shop at, and the owners of those stores weren’t having any of it, they told me they gave him hell about it. And he also threatened to me himself that he’d “expose me about this fundraiser” just a few days ago. So it’s definitely him trying to slander me because he is butthurt over our breakup. He just can’t handle that I called him out for being a mean, abusive drunk in our relationship that pushed me away. I told him I wouldn’t take it anymore, and he went nuts. It turns out it won’t be until Sept 10th that it arrives in Paypal, but once it does, I will be immediately donating it to the Trevor Project.       • Not that it’s yours or anyone else’s real business, but I had a host of personal reasons that are complicated as to why I waited so long to donate the money. I sent out a public apology on flickr about the delay of donating. All that matters now is that it IS being donated, and it’s the same exact amount that was raised inworld, which is $380 USD, not a cent less. That will be coming to my Paypal from SL by September 10th because it told me it would take that long to arrive. Once that arrives in Paypal, I will be directly donating it to the Trevor Project website and you as well as everyone else will see proof of this, receipts and all. If I donate the money, how is that committing fraud, exactly?
