    • I’m guessing they only shop cheap places like Cult who only bothered to do alpha HUDs on a release or 2 before they got too lazy. That’s probably why they have to put their ring sets in sales for people to buy them, that and they mirror sometimes.   7. To 14, are you an imbecile? I’m starting to think these are the same stores trying to create hype for themselves. If these are the same dress, then clearly you need better eyeglasses. The majority of dresses in RL and in SL are all similar because of aesthetic proportions and design limitations. Are you Diane Von Fustern-whatever, that claims the wrap dress was HER invention when clearly I’ve seen it in films in the 20s and 30s? I guess you must wear a trash bag or an aluminum bag as your garb, and even then you are probably copying Paco Rabanne.

    Both of the dresses are similar in concept, as approximately 90% of clothes is in SL. But it is not the same mesh, and could very well be that the source material are two different dresses from a same designer. Don’t know if you’ve ever had the patience to sit through a freaking fashion show in rl. I have. The collections usually offer different variations of a dress. And by the way it’s not a copy ti is just the style.

    The premise on this one is similar yes, the execution is not. The top of the dress is completely different, the only similarity is the zipper, and how many dresses have zippers up front? Quite a few by the way. Second the way the seaming on the bottom, the bikini part ends is differnet. in one it is much more tapered and narrow than the other. There is also an inseam on the skirt in one. And by the way a lot of times in mesh if you pay attention that isn’t done within the texture but the actual mesh to align to the texture. So no they aren’t the same. You are the blind one. I’m sick and tired of these immature idiots trying to create drama over nothing. Either buy it or don’t. I guess you must have an inventory with only 2k units, because the majority of SL clothes is exactly the same short, tank, and romper.

After people complained that they weren’t interested in receiving political and social commentary spam through their BDSM scripts, she decided to double down and spam people more and complain within the spam passive aggressively that how DARE people not want to listen to her agenda?     If you want people to take you seriously, then act like a professional.     And before you accuse people of “trying to silence you” or being against your causes, many people who complain (myself included) are supporters of these causes. However it does more harm than good when you annoy people in situations that have no rational need for it. So in reality, the risk that you may be turning ears away from listening because you’ve angered them is frustrating. Learn to read the room, girl and pick a better venue.

    That aside, having to field customer complaints over this is a headache. We (you and ourselves) can include notecards and EULAs all day but people either don’t read the legalese, or they have, but they can’t understand/believe why these things are happening out of their kink accessories. That’s a reasonable question from people. The only answer for some of us on the creator side is to stop including your scripts and communicate with other creators to cease as well since you seem to have no intention of stopping.

    tl;dr: It’s not always about you.People hate your spam, because it has nothing to do with the product. You’re not a victim and the complex you have over it is frankly insulting. This isn’t about your gender, your ideals/voice, “abusing” you, etc. You’re just annoying average people to no end who just wanted to be kinky.

      • Yes, you can turn it off. However in doing so, the customer also loses the ability to receive actual product information. So, if they wish to be informed about the product they’re using they must -also- suffer the spam.

        And yes, it’s complaints on a drama website because a) it’s drama she’s causing, and b) she’s also a lunatic that sends her fans after people who complain publically.         I am by no means a perfect person and I have never claimed to be one. I’m impulsive and get myself into trouble frequently. I’m working on myself because I’m a person who is flawed and makes mistakes. More often than not, I tend to step back and apologize when I’m wrong. Mind you, that’s not always the case. I struggle with multiple mental illnesses. However, I will make this very clear. My struggles with my mental illness is never an excuse for my actions and I expect to be called out–ESPECIALLY by my friends who love me–when I’m wrong. 

        People’s viewpoints of me are a double edged sword. If I speak up about things I’m passionate about, I’m a bitch and I stir the pot. If I’m quiet and mind my own business I’ll either get dragged into it by someone involved or I’m an asshole for not standing up for my friends. I stand up for myself, I’m a raging cunt or a bitch. I sit down and be quiet, I get taken advantage of and walked all over. In this case, I may not have gone about things the right way and jumped to conclusions. I will be messaging Setsuna myself to apologize because It was wrong of me to jump the gun and accuse her. I admit that. I will not apologize here because the only person I need to apologize to is her. 

        However, I will stand by other things I’ve said. Am I salty? Yeah, I am. I’ll admit that right here and now. If you aren’t in the federation you really can’t have a viewpoint of the things that have changed, especially if you weren’t here with the previous owner.

        Seth has been very different. I didn’t know him in 2010, but I know him now. People can change. I had been told things about him and had been told things about him and had a wrong opinion of him in the start. I raged out at him over something stupid in December and we have made peace. I openly will admit I consider him a friend. With that being said, he treats me the same as he does every single other wrestler in the VWE. He cares about us as people. He actually responds to us in Discord and listens to our feedback.

        He tells us our plans for the cycle up front. It’s not some game where we get no information. We know what we’re doing ahead of time. He checks in on us and our personal lives. He takes our real life problems into consideration. If something happens before the show it’s not an obligation to find someone to run our wrestler if we can’t find someone, he’ll remove us from the show. That was something the previous owner didn’t offer us.

        The whole concept of “cliques” in VWE has pretty much been eliminated. More often than not, there are tons of wrestlers in the Discord channels talking to each other. People are allowed to have their own side servers with people they’re close with, but everyone still talks to each other and it’s not some hostile environment. And I guarantee you, multiple wrestlers in VWE will step forward and attest to that. He also addresses issues as they come up and doesn’t just put them to the side and let them go. Wrestlers play games together, watch movies, and TV shows together. All kinds of wrestlers who didn’t talk to each other in the past outside of writing a match.

        Now I’m going to address Hammer and Wrex. Hammer was made the VP because of the amount of work he puts into the federation. This man barely gets any fucking sleep because of his child, his job, and VWE. He puts his child first, and is an amazing father and can still do things for VWE like a champ. He does training, booking, deals with other people’s problems, hosts movie nights for the federation, as well as much, much more. Since he joined VWE he’s put tons of wrestlers over and made them look good as well as himself doing it. He’s excellent at promos and tries to help other wrestlers, myself included, get better at promos (whether that promo is a voice promo or a text promo). 

        Wrex also puts a shit ton of work into the federation. He does training, volunteers to run alts, and helps out with social media. Wrex also works and has his own family that he spends time with on top of helping in VWE. He even has some time to DJ on the side. Since he’s joined VWE he’s puts tons of wrestlers over and also made them look good as well as himself. He’s an amazing person who works hard and tries to make things as fair as possible for everyone involved.

        I think I managed to address just about everything discussed here at some point. If I didn’t, oh well. With all of that being said, I’m not going to be responding to anything else here. If you have an issue with someone in VWE or VWE itself, maybe come forward and speak up about it instead of posting on here. If you have any issues with me as a person, come forward and speak with me about it. ✌ I’ll probably be seeing people next week after someone posts me up there.

    5 – Bitching that they put stuff on FB to view and not everyone has FB. Here’s an idea. FB is free. It takes a whole minute to sign up for an account, more time than it took to make this secret. So, just make a FB, lol.

    6 – You have to ask why a RP group wouldn’t want a bunch of events spamming?  

    8 – SL men nevet try to get you back after you leave? How about not leaving him if you still want him. Maybe the guy doesn’t want to get heartbroken again by a girl who’s going to leave him, so decides to not even try to go back.

    10 – Creators stopped creating for standard sizes for the same reason they stopped creating the tattoo type clothing. The game evolved to where not many use it, and it doesn’t make sense to spend your time creating things that people don’t want. Fitted/rigged mesh conforms to your shape so you don’t have to be one of those cookie cutter shapes that fit in the standard XS, S, M, L, XL sizes. Sure, we know that you can buy something in Standard sizing and adjust your body to make it work. But that’s extra work and a lot of people would rather just wear something that fits the body they have. If not enough people want something to make it worth a creator’s time to do it, then they’re not going to bother.

    7. If you hate reading political posts in SL, leave that group, or close the group chat down or mute the person

    8. People lie in SL, because there are 0 consquences to ones actions, so get over it, if you think someone is lying, see #4 above

    9. Posting on SL secrets is not going to ruin someone in SL, it will not cause their sim, venue, business, event to close down, because as long as the person who is being talked about has the money to keep funding the said venture, it will continue

    10. Stop threatening people with fake lawsuits, fake court summons, and fake freedom of speech threats, none of you have the actual real life cash to pursue a lawsuit in regards to SL, if you did, SL secrets would be taken down and btw freedom of speech only applies to the government restricting your right to speech, not individuals, not this website, and not LL

  55. 30- It’s about time someone brought Dappa and Speakeasy to the table… small creators get harassed all the time about not drawing their tattoos BUT YET neither do these creators. Hold them all accountable.

    • Speakeasy killed me with one tattoo as that was literally half of printed portfolio of one tattoo artists in Brighton. And Brighton is a good place to look when you want a tattoo so SL has half of their stuff on someone. I assume some actually are the artists in person but most are not. So if anyone wants to do comparisons – look at whole city and at least each shop has something from it.

    • Speakeasy are always being brought up here. I made some tattoos for myself using images I found online. Recently noticed Speakeasy using the same image I found – the difference being mine is for me and they flog them.

      The reason why nobody holds them accountable is because unless you have a REAL artist who can actually hand draw things (which is MAYBE a handful of stores, if that), the only way for them to make tattoos is by ripping art off the internet, and peoples’ morals go straight down the drain when it comes to wanting their avatar to look as good as possible. Would people buy tattoos that were hand drawn if they looked as good? Yes. But do they? For the most part, no.

      Calling these stores out is one thing but actually holding them accountable and having repercussions for their art theft? That’s an uphill battle. Especially when most of the stuff they rip is off of pinterest; finding the original artist to report them to is almost impossible.

    • You really pressed about it? you realize it’s been going on since sl opened right? Bolson, Dappa, Speakeasy, Letus and more do not draw their own tattoos. None of them are better nor worse then the other when it comes to this topic. Yes some like the talk more about the other, that all depends on whether or not someone has something against said person/creator. It’s about how big or small they are…. it’s all the same ?

  57. #10 um yes the standard size clothes distort your shape too because you have to alter the shape you already love in order to fit in them if you arent with in the “standard” sizes. Better off with mesh clothes that are made for your body if you are a mesh body user.
    Heck even in the classic body stage id grit my teeth having to alter myself just to fit in those standard size clothes when mesh first came out.

    So naw lets keep things as they are now.

    • The point of standard sizes was to have literally that – sizes. So point of OP was that it allowed layering without using system layers and it gave more look options as what if you wanted a huge jumper not a fitted one and so on.

      • That layering only works if you’re willing to alter your body shape, alpha most of yourself, or you already fit within the numbers of those standard sizes. It was an annoying time in SL history for anyone who didn’t want to be a fairly petite woman or a muscle bound man and a lot of diversity in body types vanished (aside from the over exaggerated, that never goes away). Secret Maker can apparently fit an XS and have it be big so they’re already SUPER petite. Even a standard size jacket is going to clip badly if you’re too far outside the slider numbers it wants. Some aren’t even rigged right to fit modern mesh bodies.

        As to why makers stopped carrying those sizes…. does no one ever consider how annoying it is to have to rig, texture, and then box all those sizes that most people won’t even use? Not everyone buys the full perm mesh that has almost every size.

      • I often did fit into XS lady rigged trousers on male skeleton so it did work in some cases. I guess OP meant shirts that go under jackets which made XS nice since it was really small as you said. I did think of one benefit which is a disadvantage you mention – it had a fixed shape that did not change with sliders so if you were after a flat shirt on female shape – you could and vice versa. I mean all that is doable without standard sizing and indeed the body list is bloated to oblivion at the moment so creators have loads to cover if they wish to. Standard sizes were probably harder to rig as you had no kit for it beyond SL skeleton but then again most people do not have kits for all the bodies they rig for. Alas, I just do sometimes miss standard sizes xD .

      • Correct. Most developers didn’t have the official Maitreya developer kit because it was very hard to acquire. And yet they made clothes exclusively for Maitreya in most instances.

        Bottomline, it’s not about whether they make it in standard vs body sizes. The biggest issue is that they aren’t even making for all bodies. And I say this as a Maitreya user myself. I understand where people with Belleza and Slink felt because my favorite non-bento head was actually an Akeruka one I had (Lara), which I had edited to about an inch of it’s life and looked like Lara Pulver. I loved it. Yet, no one made for it. And it was just difficult to keep it after a year. So I switched to a Catwa head (Jessica) and then Kathy for Bento. And now am going through Lelutka Evolution heads. And to be quite frank, it was a pain before. I absolutely love BOM because of that. Now I don’t have to worry as much. I can edit skins a bit with the Izzie products and I look unique.

        Creators don’t make to please all customers. They make to please a large portion of their customer base that has spending power. Unfortunately those are the Maitreya, and now Legacy body owners. The rest that do not share the percentage of the market are outliers. So why would they rig and spend 20 hours on rigging for those, when maybe 100-200 customers max would buy that product for that?

      • Aren’t we now alphaing too? Most of your clothes, whether you know it or not not only fits to your maitreya or other body, but actually through a series of programming makes the body hide the parts that the script is alpha-ing. And there are plenty of outfits that we still alpha for because of how they were rigged. And I never was a total skinny skeleton and I was able to fit in Mediums and Large just fine.

      • Pfft…screw standard sizing. And as A Kid said, that time in SL history sucked for people like me who didn’t want to be a goddamn stick woman. I wasn’t changing my shape for anything.

        And EVEN if creators/full perm still did (Meli Imako for example), there’s still no guarantee that things will fit over each other. Absolutely none. So why waste time and upload fees for something like that? -_-
