    • I went to her facebook to check since you said she showed evidence, it doesn’t look traced. The faces look different from the actual commission pictures and also the shapes are not 100% accurate to the pictures. She also does a before and after picture and she makes video’s on her drawing layers, it doesn’t look like she is hiding anything at all.

      • She traces the original image and just adds some shitty flats and shading. But the picture is exactly the same. If you place the “drawing” on top of the original and set the opacity to 50% its the exact same image.

      • DUDE, lmao. LOOK at the picture yourself. NOBODY who knows how to draw would draw the spot where the mesh deforms. Do you know who does? People who don’t know how to draw and trace instead. She traced the deformed mesh, and you can see it in the pic. I get you’re a stan, but please try to use some common sense and think objectively. Look at the bikini straps, that’s the mesh deforming. Look at how she “drew” it exactly to a T. Use your brain.

      • I do different styles of art and what she is doing is blatant tracing. So what if she “sketches” her work before adding detail, it’s just for the video, of course, she will only show you completed layers and not the picture underneath, but if you add the two pictures on top of each other, you will be able to see that it is 100% traced.
        Even though tracing is nothing TOO BAD when it’s all about practice and getting used to the shapes, but to charge for “fully hand-drawn” pictures is just wrong and I am very very happy she is getting called out for that. There are waaay better and ACTUALLY talented artists out there who people should rather support. People who do not draw, or have no experience with digital art, simply do not know how a traced and hand-drawn art looks like, therefore they fall for her scheme.

      • There’s only so many ways you can deform a mesh and still have it look ok on a range of shapes. The “variety” of heads Catwa sells dictates that some of the subsequent changes are not going to be an improvement given that limitation. I think the early heads are the best, because they were shaped to look the best relative to the mesh/sliders, not shaped to be “different” from the others, regardless of whether it’s an improvement. And I don’t know why some people obsess here about other people looking “ugly”. Why do you care if other people want to willingly be “less competition”. If they offend your senses somehow, block them. It’s not hard.

    • its all about the shape you make for it. Like any other head you can within reason make it look like any way you want to. Its all about being able to make a nice shape. I used to prefer Catwa Annie before bento. That one was never turned into bento which made me sad and now I have like 6 dif bento heads and now 3 Genus LOL… when really I would have stayed with Annie the WHOLE TIME!!!

      • No, you really can’t. Certain features are built into the meshes, highly recognizable, and only get bigger or smaller with sliders- Catya’s lips are one of them (and so are Lona’s, an almost equally overused head because it was Catwa’s first “baby face”). Unless you go comically flat and narrow you can’t hide that duck pout, which of course no one does because that wouldn’t be “sexy”. The good thing is there are plenty of Daniel clones (Daniel Daddies? good alliteration but ugh the cringe) out there too who also completely lack any creativity and are perfectly fine with women whose faces they can find anywhere, any time.
