      LL actually looks into every Abuse Report, but it takes T I M E because there are no shortage of salty people in SL that AR others if they as much as bump into them on a landing zone of a busy event, or whores complaining their Johns didn’t pay them after they service them.
      Yes, that and other stuff like that actually constantly gets ARed daily in ridiculous numbers, and ALL those ARs need to be manually reviewed.

      When you AR a MP listing, that goes in a massive pile of reports that is often BS anyway, people complaining that something doesn’t fit their avatar because it not nicely rigged so they want their money back even when the items offers a free demo that they couldn’t bother trying, or they bought what they thought was a hair but it was actually a shape as is described on the damn title and description…
      Again this happens constantly, and LL needs to deal with a load of shit like that. Only a fraction of ARs are actually legitimate and eligible for enforcement.

      This process is amazingly time consuming, for the specific case presented here, it needs carefully review to be sure it really is an illegitimate copy of an item, and yes, you need a LOT more than “I say so, you can trust me” or just glance at two pictures to warrant enforcement, just look at the amount of times this website posts about two products being copies when they are two completely different models and textures. Yes, those also get AR and yes LL staff has to waste time looking into them too.

      One thing LL could do is actually enforce ToS and ban people that file unwarranted ARs but guess what? Then you’d have those complaining LL is banning “good people” and protecting “bad people” oblivious to the fact their complains not only don’t have legitimacy they are actively overloading an important office that has much better things to do, such as actually getting around to review legitimate complains and enforcing action on real violations.
      So I say, start suspending accounts a few days and maybe people start thinking twice about filing ARs for no good reason and without all those clogging the system, maybe LL can work a lot faster and get to the real perpetrators sooner so they don’t have to hear complains about “why does it takes days or sometimes weeks to get something banned?”
