Since it is the mainland, you need a group to deed stuff for a club. he is nice enough(like he did for our CLUB) to make a group for your club so you can do the things you need to do for a club ie..deed tip jars, shoutcast boards..ect. He does not own or work or even visit the clubs. So that is why it is showing him the owner of the group. He is a very nice guy and is always willing to help someone. So Lay off him and find someone else to run your mouth on.!!

  50. #16- No, it’s called transfer weights. Rigging isn’t that hard once you get it down. Just continue to learn about features in 3d modelling program.
    Step one: import second and third body into Blender/Maya/3dsMax. Step two: Duplicate mesh for second and third body Step three: Resize appropriately using proportional editing or cage deform Step four: Transfer weights from original to copies and weight paint where appropriate Step five: Make 50% of consumers happy because you made clothing for them too and make more money!

    Spend time learning how other functions in a 3d modelling program work and the impossible becomes possible.

    • That is all fine but unfortunately all depends on whatever’s creators devkit as some are way too broken thus you have to fix weights, joints and positions yourself. In addition, it is best to learn rigging in general than for a singular body and apply it to SL skeleton. If you learn that, it is a matter of adjustment on how to fiddle with the results and adapt it to each body. However, I do not sell stuff so I do not need dev kits to make it official.

    • too bad maitreyas kit is such garbage it takes DAYS to rig to it, when it only takes about an hour tops to rig to a legacy kit….

      • Because Maitreya dev kit is one huge decimated, unwelded, wrongly oriented piece of crap. The one who wrote this #16 have absolutely no idea about “rigging” (or how we call it in professional 3d world, skinning).

      • Legacy is awful. At some point when you all wake up even though you already got screwed by tmp before, you’ll find out legacy sucks too. I have the brand owner on steam and they just came back in a desperate attempt to make money off suckers for a new rig to play games that haven’t dropped yet. Then they made more than expected because they underestimated how stupid sl people can be. They’re good at altering a Daz model just enough to fool everyone, people don’t change, only times do.

    • Yeah it’s all easy in steps not so much in practice. None of the kits have the same bodies as in sl, so the weights are off. All of them are reduced also, so the polygons won’t fit. After fitting in the 3d app for each body, you’ll have to upload it 50 times, to make it fit right in sl trying 50 poses. Then you find out that you’ll have to make multiple versions of your thing, because not all shapes are the same and not all can be controlled by the weights accordingly. Now add that to 4-5 bodies at around 3-4 products a month and you’ll end up in total stress. Not to mention updates, because everybody expects creators to have updates magically ready the very same day the new body was released and if not send them 100 ims. That’s why creators are choosing the most popular bodies and stick with them, not because it’s impossible, but just because it’s a lot.
