But when you start getting used and realise your boss is one mfasshole then you leave. Stand up for your self and leave the minute it starts. Clubs open like no bodies business, thing is if its one of these sorts it is bound to close in a month so try one of the older ones thats been around for a few years and is well established.

      • I worked at a club that the boss asked for real life money from her staff spread lies needing to get out of her town and then spent the money on take out and don’t pay one cent back. I haven’t been asked for money at this place or even to fuck the owner for free cause he doesn’t hire the girls. There are clients in the club to,my clients and others.

        Any idea of which clubs are established and good to work for? Unfortunately I can’t name one that hasn’t had at least one of the aforementioned offenses. :-/

    If it were me i’d return all booths who don’t follow the rules.. no refund on your space, nothing. You read the rules and signed for them when applying so its really the only way people learn. sad but true.

And we don’t even know each other or talk. Met her once years ago, pretended like I wasn’t even there. It almost seems too like she must blog for the free shit, but has no real desire to help anyone find most the items she’s listed. If she doesn’t want you to know it, she leaves is vague and questionable. Then when you ask about it, she’ll either ignore you, or answer you with a very big bad attitude.   11. From a brand who is in the big events, here’s my two cents regarding Uber deciding to not have a blogging team of it’s own. I support it 100% and hope many of the other events follow. Before you jump in, hear me out. We release our blogging packs to about 120+ people for each event we’re in. This includes the event bloggers, my bloggers, event designers, store managers (most can have up to 1 additional person per brand within the event group) & event staff. Most of the event bloggers already blog for many of the designers in the event anyway, so most focus solely on their their sponsors in that event to meet their required deadlines for both the event and the brand. Bloggers get credit from their sponsors and turn around and get credit for the same post from the events. Everything else shared by the 60+ other brands? Bloggers are under no obligation to cover the items and are just free to have and wear anytime they want. It’s great to have “extra coverage” but in reality that just isn’t happening. The brands have their own blogger teams for coverage which additionally covers the event anyway. I am starting to see MANY designers opting out of sending blogger packs and there is an increase of designers sending demos in lieu of full packs forcing event bloggers to contact designers directly for the full pack if they’d like to cover the item. This is because most of us do not see anyone outside of our own teams covering our items. In the future I can see a lot of designers starting to send their demos instead or events following suit and eventually fading out their blogging teams.

    • I absolutely agree and even though I stopped coming into SL seems the past bloggers were a much-needed to advertise ~ now half barely credit their blog posts with creators name like pose creators or hair and I could go on but staring at Flickr and seeing bloggers and their pics that look so bad yet get tons of views/likes for pics that are laughable from others that just want to get likes back. Blogging is not what it used to be all pics no text

        I said a long time ago here that some of the event designer groups have 3-5 hundred people in them.. thats 300-500 potential sales lost giving shit away to people for nothing. You have to beg to be tagged.. you have some of them submitting pics the last day of an event (pointless as fuck). I’ve even seen a swimsuit blogged while the bitch was laying in a field of long grass.. lol o.0 thats embarrassing for a brand.
        Its already started in smaller events where no blog packs are going out. Usually smaller brand bloggers just look for whatever has the least clothes as an outfit to blog.. because naked is the only thing the talentless can get likes on.
        They literally all view and like each others work so it seems they have customer views but its not even like that.
        I agree 1000000000% do away with them too.. I rarely see an item from flickr from a blogger that i want (i like a few bloggers who its obvious they do it because they not only have great style but you can tell from the pics they enjoy it.. its not a shitty rushed job) .. i just follow the brands i like and save their ads. and check seraphim before an event to see if anythings worth going for.
        Just have your customers follow you on social media.. and fuck giving out anything to some of these lazy asses. watch sales go up when they have to buy.

      • I can count all the times a blogger post on flickr made me actually look at their blog on one hand. Most of the time I can already tell where they got the item because I follow the creators like you said, they showed the item off so badly that they didn’t make it look appealing, or it was obvious from the style of the item who made it (mostly decor).

    I know a few people who are RL married, they both go on SL, they both have seperate and different SL partners. It’s all role play for fun. They are fully aware of each other’s relationships on SL and the partners understand that it’s SL only, no real life and they learn who their RL partner is too. You can do that if you both are aware and such. Hell, my friend’s Rl partner helped him find an SL partner a few times. It’s all good if you do this and it’s consentual. You have to have a good relationship in RL for it. Morals aren’t only what YOU think they are.

    • Well I’m sorry to see your not happy with your experience, but from my prospective they’re actually really friendly, Meelas always talking to the girls too, she does videos, meetings, weekly updates etc with the girls to guide them on how to get clients etc. She puts in a lot of effort from what I witnessed. When I first started out not totally sure what happened but she wrote up a down to earth advice notecard, and addressed the fact she wanted girls to work together, and didn’t want the place to have girls hating each other. Also girls really don’t look the same and only requirements is that girls are very petite – to protect against age play, and that your atleast 1.57 I think it was in height, that’s still in 5ft range. Again it’s to assure there’s an adult apprence. I’m 5ft3 in RL and like my Ava to be like my RL self, but it didn’t bother me being a little taller. It’s their club, their rules and they aren’t very strict at all. So yeah either respect or move on is how I see it when it comes to rules. There’s only a few blondes, I had purple, and red hair during lol, there’s a mixture of shapes and sizes so it’s likely just coincidence or you’ve been given wrong information.

    • What this lawsuit shows is “reasons” of why this woman believes she was terminated by LL unfairly. The woman is a cyber-security expert. What she is saying is (based on security laws, certification, compliancy) is that the “moles” are doing work for LL but they are able to access system tools with their own personal email accounts. This of course raises a security issue and that is why she mentions it in her lawsuit as an example of why she thinks she was fired. Now all of this is alleged. There is no proof that this is happening or if it has happened, her lawyers are going to have to “show” it. The moles are outsourced individuals, some of which I have heard are doing the work voluntarily. If they are working on LL stuff using say a gmail account, then someone hacks into their email to gain access to the LL system tools….that is a big issue. Even a bigger issue if someone has mentioned this possibly security issue in the past and LL has blatantly ignored it. Got to wait and see what happens. I know from the lawsuit that LL gave his woman a raise during her employment and that her supervisor agreed with ALOT of the concerns she brought up.

      People have done this before, it’s not the first time and it seems like according to the post and a previous post that something isn’t right

    • I have no idea who this individual is. Not in SL or RL. I have however been witness to at least three people faking real life death in second Life. The lengths these people have gone to to perpetrate the frauds is scary amazing. I could sit here for hours and try to illustrate it but I still would fall short to really knock home just how screwed up some people are. One outted a gay lover on that individuals real life Facebook to their real life family after their attempt to fake their own death failed (that entailed having the persona of the supposedly dead person’s son contacting people in real life Facebook) . That individual then came back a week or so later on there dead avi and pretended to be a stalker who had hacked the supposedly dead person and deleted an entire Sim that was group owned and ejected some near 1,000 members from the group. The week after that the person returned as themselves on their original avi. Meanwhile during this entire debacle, this individual was creating multiple burner Avis everyday sending out cryptic accusatory instant messages to the entire group.

      Second instance was a person who was banned from second Life who actually was able to come back on a second avatar but not the original but decided to tell everyone in their social group that they were dying & were leaving second Life to address and deal with their final preparations. this was due to their being pissed off at losing all the money they had invested over the years with some ownership. They even came back a few years after that on a third avi and caused a ruckus within a gaming community.

      The third instance I saw of someone faking their death was not well executed but they started coming around my social group on a secondary avi that had nearly the same exact profile as this person who had mysteriously just stopped signing in. Only after several months of being avoided by me did they admit to who they really were. Not before lying and saying that they in fact were friends with the missing Avatar in RL and that that person had died in a motorcycle accident. I called them out & they came clean. Yeah. I don’t even know if anyone reading this can follow it all. but I’m sure I’m not alone in having witnessed things like this and that is why others are skeptical in situations like that secret.

    Re: Any secret about an event: It’s been said before…and it’ll be said again…until there is some sort of universal quality control for all events, they’ll continue to be shit. I stopped going to most, if not pretty much all, events a while back once it started being too repetitive, sloppy and just not worth my time. If I need a specific piece I’ll search stores I know sell quality items before I go to an actual event to find something new.
