While we aren’t the hipster types, we have always found it difficult to shop for the subcultures we are both interested in as in SL like RL, sex and cliches sell. It’s not a big deal. There is nothing wrong with calling it like it is and telling designers on any forum that you’re tired of it, rather than just accept it or “live with it.” There’s money to be made in being a niche designer and creating fashions that go against the norm.     • It’s a luxury brand. The actual POINT is that it’s too expensive for some. The loft has the same pricing model. There are people in SL who enjoy owning stuff that other people think is too expensive. It gives them the same thrill an expensive designer piece would in real life, except it costs a buck instead of 50 cents. I love Nutmeg and mostly won’t buy it because it’s too expensive, but I’m sure appealing to exclusivity is working just fine for them.

I, like most people in that rp community, keep our profiles on private accounts not to hide the tweets themselves, but because of Twitter’s tendency to remove accounts entirely based on in-character made tweets. there’s also the fact that it keeps actual real accounts from following it. so try that one again, honey. it’s not about hiding from people in the community – it’s about being able for public tweets that are made in character for that character are not used to take the profile itself down (as has happened to plenty of people in the rp community). if you truly dug around enough, you’d know both of those things – both being on sim, and why people utilizing twitter for their roleplay characters put the profiles onto private. again, thank you for your very clearly, further mis-informed input. but unless you’re going to have the truth in your statements, they’re not going to be very substantial there. but by all means, I’d love to know who spoke to you and tried to say I’m never on sim or that I hide my tweets for anything other than the twitter algorithms. But back to your expertise in deflection, the majority of your last comment just worked through the mechanics of how to use Twitter and rather than just stating why you just can’t talk through this issue, given that you’ve been offered the chance to do so. “Being able to type and being able to do a voice call are two entirely different things “but you would rather just type blocks of texts here. It would be understandable why someone would not want to engage in a text dispute with you and words can be misconstrued and misinterpreted via text. You continue to say they had their chance and we’re willing to give them a chance to, quite literally, talk for a past issue but now that is too much? I outright invited multiple times to have the over text discussion. if I were running and/or afraid of what might be shown, I wouldn’t be offering them the conversation invite that I had – especially with how notoriously they pass around conversation logs (proof of that is displayed above). overall, your entire argument you’re trying to make is filled not just with inaccuracies, but with constant twisting of what’s said. it’s quite laughable, really. as far as my “having the last word” goes, you’re trying miserably to paint that sort of picture as well. if you send me a little essay filled with your bullshit, then naturally, as any person would, I would have every right to respond to you and address it (as I’ve done). that’s not about having the last word – it’s replying to someone addressing me in conversation and that very person getting pissed off and butthurt because I’ve acknowledged them ad replied. the absolute horror! how dare I answer people who reply to me after I’ve been dragged into the conversation! such scandal! 😮

      • actually no you are wrong because the new FEDERAL law involving REP says that in certain instances there is a reasonable expectation of privacy between things like a phone call with a friend ect…. if it isn’t a gov. entity, business ect then that law covers the person being recorded. Then to use those things someone says in order to slander and degrade character (i.e Dixon fucks dogs) is against the law as well. That goes to character assassination because it is not a true statement of fact and was used in a public forum. Then you get into the distribution of said illegal recordings. THAT in itself is a whole other cup of tea and law. . NOW if this so called recorded convo had taken place say in local voice in SL on a street corner in a restaurant ect….THEN you would have the right to record without all parties giving consent because there is no longer a Reasonable Expectation of Privacy ( REP) to just clarify. I do understand however what you are saying and yes there are SOME states that hold the ‘ one party’ law but because of the new REP and eavesdropping laws on a federal platform they are superseded..
