Have you tried to shop as a guy? Yes, my RL husband is in SL blah, blah, blah. While we aren’t the hipster types, we have always found it difficult to shop for the subcultures we are both interested in as in SL like RL, sex and cliches sell. It’s not a big deal. I just find it funny how one ideal or fad seems to dominate the market. There is nothing wrong with calling it like it is and telling designers on any forum that you’re tired of it, rather than just accept it or “live with it.” There’s money to be made in being a niche designer and creating fashions that go against the norm.
