  2. If those of you that take this silly drama seriously (especially the people that make the secrets) would spend a week away from SL, you would see how meaningless this all is in your life.

    • If people did that though there’d be no secrets to read. Then what am I going to read? I’ll have to **GASP** start watching soap operas to satisfy my daily need to watch other people be overly dramatic. haha

      • Pointing out that people are wasting energy (negative at that) on something that really doesn’t matter isn’t meaningless if it makes one person second guess their choices and gets them a tiny step closer to being mentally healthy. The time some of these people spend focused on anger and dislike for something that truly has no impact on them is saddening, and a random reminder of this at the least nothing at all, but at the most life changing. But I commend your constant effort to troll every week.

  4. Oakley is a whore who only gets attention being naked all the time, always stalking other ppls flickr, asking bout their hair, clothes etc then copying BUT go you ask her shit and you will never get an answer. People just need to stop, she is a mix of at least 10 great bloggers I know. 😉

  5. #13 So true. Madpea has gone so dull and repetitive as of these last few years. I have all but given up bothering to play their games as they always follow the same pattern over and over. They rarely come out with any new ideas any more it is just the same thing recycled time and time again. The worst part is I doubt they will even take into consideration what the op of the image is saying. Change is a good thing, coming out with new ideas is a good thing. But I pretty much guarantee that Madpea will continue to recycle the same old tired ‘who dunnit’ game idea. Grid hunt with teams hosted by the peas and points with whack prizes and ‘achievements’ and craptastic prizes. And horrible gacha with yet another ‘mystery’ attached to them. I prefer to go to The Arcade now for prizes. It may be a gacha event but is has Madpea beat on prize quality. Madpea could do with learning a thing or two from The Arcade as their designs are just pure next generation.

    • You gotta be kidding about the Arcade, ever since it decided to take a percentage and most of the decent designers left it has been filled with pure crap. Epiphany has them trumped completely now, it is the only Gacha event worth anything anymore.

      As for MadPea, the last game I really enjoyed was Inca. It was big, exciting and had the scripting magic and actual ‘game’ feel that they were famous for. Ever since then it has felt like the heart went out of it and it has been more a point and click adventure. It really is a shame because I could talk for days about how amazing they were before that. I do like the grid hunts they do, but they are what it says on the tin, a hunt. I wish they would have more of other designers doing the prizes and not just all MadPea, like they used to, or like the Christmas hunt calendar thing they did a few years ago.

      I have seen some of the fireworks that have happened from people between the owner and other people and it did put me off, I can’t stand that sort of facebook drama. But I think their gachas are no worse than anyone else, sometimes better depending.

    #14- The concept of SL kids\babies is totally beyond me. The babies are usually creepy\ugly and the kids are just annoying. And if it wasn’t a thing at all, would probably at least help eliminate some pedo predators, ijs.

    Boring week, get some hobbies or come up with something juicier folks.

    • Right! I really was hoping some of their new “breastfeeding” drama would have made it on here this week. They were taking the creepiness to a whole new level protesting all over Facebook for the right to be breastfed lol. Maybe next week.

    • father, mother, child, is an absolutely natural roleplaying game. even a child plays with dolls, stroller, etc. Also in games like The Sims or more recent, Farmer’s Dynasty, you can start a family.

      all the whole adult sex garbage, BDSM, animals (i do not mean furrys), babygirl and daddy dom, gor, dolcett, slavery, rape, kidnaping, and much more, THIS WHOLE ADULT SHIT, TO SEE IT IN EVERY THIRD SECONDLIFE PROFILE, IS ABSOLUTE CREEPY.

      in most cases, they are exactly those people with such profiles who insult you as a childavatar. that’s something I’ll never understand.

      • People being children in SL are way more creepy than people liking BDSM. I mean the other things you mention are indeed a fantasy that have to lived as a fantasy because they are partly (for good reasons of course) illegal. But if you find someone old enough to consent to play through this fantasy with you, without causing some actual physical or mental harm. It’s btter that way for a short time than doing some stuff actually in the real world. And, as it is a fantasy, or a roleplay it also has a start and an ending. Out of character you can talk to those people just totally normal and they also interact on normal terms (well most of them) with people around them not being involved in this fantasy. But childavatars are different. I have been around of some and they never seemed to be out of character at all. You can not talk to them on a normal adult level (well at those who I met), because they always act like a freaking child. And that is way more creepy than people having a kidnapping fantasy go to a place find a people who shares this fantasy and play it through with them.

  12. Uber sales had started to take a nose dive for a few months since Tyr started getting into fights with the designers. That’s why she got kicked. Ever since she got involved with epiphany, epiphany started to do poorly too.

Sl is set up that way , it’s the ideal place to cheat. Either accept that or find love in rl. Be realistic ,how many ,out of the 1000s of couples ,on SL make it all the way ,to a real life happily ever after ? Very very few.

  16. Why do kids find it shocking when their parent on sl “abandons” them?? Like really your going into a relationship with someone who is adopting a child avatar. Find a real friend that doesn’t expect a certain amount of your time or your avatar to look a certain way or want you to suck up to their shitty husband and friends that are clearly awful so basically do what they fucking want or they’ll “unadopt” aka never talk to you again, what kind of fucking friendship is that anyway. Kids go into families expecting a friend above anything else but when you really think about it being “unadopted” is literally saying your not doing what they want anymore so bye bye they’re onto the next 6 month adoption untill the next kid does something mommy doesn’t approve of

  18. Gacha is just so worn out and idea is washed up. Something new needs to happen, creators are overwhelmingly going into a direction I think most consumers don’t agree with and I hope the lack of support of worn out ideas and bad ones fade out quickly. The market is saturated with events, that it shot itself in the foot. Money talks. I have literally only paid into land and reusing items I have for the last few months. Lets do something new guys. Make SL shopping great again. I’m utterly bored of the same event and content from the same 15 stores.

    • Holy fuck have you ever reviewed the process for joining the D20 “group”? A fucking rolling subscription fee? The discount is not that significant…

    • Agree 100% that events have basically taken over 90% of SL and same ole same ole crap except for the price gouging at different events that if it is at Collab its an affordable item then you see it at another that the designer has tripled the price and someone else it is like stop already from your greediness

    • So you’re riding hard for Oakley. Good for you. Are you capable of understanding that there’s people who do not share the same view as you ? And that it’s not hate or jealousy. She’s doing her thing which is naked pictures. That looks very much the same. That’s why you see others copying her as sex sells. It’s an easy way to gain faves. Some people love decor and fashion. That’s more creative and it gives a greater variety on someone’s Flickr feed.

      • Naked pictures on Flickr are boring as shit. ANYONE can strip off their avatars clothing and glow them up in photoshop. Also it is kind of creepy how people comment YOU look so hot.. it is an AVATAR!! The true artists on Flickr do landscapes that actually look like you can step right in that picture, or great scenes with their avatar. The only picture I saw of Oakleys were huge beach ball avatar tits that looked hideous!!!

      • I hate that I’m even commenting here, but if any of you were to actually speak with Oakley you would know that she feels the same way about her pictures as you do. You are coming from a mean place and if that works for you that’s fine I guess. I personally think she is very talented and does things that others wish they could do, but she doesn’t see it that way. If you were to actually look at her pictures you would see that she has a great sense of style and really isn’t always naked. These are just my 2 cents as I felt like someone needed to speak a little bit of truth. I say all of this knowing someone is just going to say something else negative and mean, but if that is how you do things without facts, go right ahead.

  20. 2) Yes It does seem like Gachas are not as popular as they once were however, there’s still some creators that find new ideas rather than just making the same style dress/outfit with different colors.

    13) Madpea was never really a store I found interesting it’s hard for me to recall anything that stands out from there.

    14) SL kids are creepy, I never understood why they were such a thing. Most of them are annoying with their baby talk and want others around them to alter their SL lives just for them. I find it disturbing that a 30+ year old would talk and act like they are 3.

The queen pays other good designers to make her stuff so she can sell for a fortune while they get jack. And when things go bad there she pretends to be the victim and so innocent when most of it’s her own doing. Your mentioned disgruntled employees. Ya she has plenty because she’s a nightmare to work for and no one wants to put up with her shit for long. You can pretty much ask half the designers in SL that’s had anything to do with her and they will say the same. Most designers refuse to even be associated with her because she loves to talk shit about them being the designers back but once she’s caught she’s miss innocent queen pea.
