#6. That is NOT a Halloween skin. That is a Dia De Los Muertos skin. This Mexican holiday is on November 2nd.
If anyone is interested in an objective, unbiased opinion on the kid body debate, I have both mesh bodies. Now, keep in mind I have only tried the regular mesh of both brands. I have not tried the Fit Mesh of either one, nor have I tried the kid sizes, only the baby sizes. I purchased the Toddleedoo Baby Size body a little over a year ago and I have only just purchased the Beby Body 2 months ago. Myself and my siblings have evaluated both bodies and they both have their pro’s and con’s. Size: The Toddleedoo is larger and thicker and in my opinion the size relation of the Toddleedoo to adult avatars is more realistic. When I am with my SL parents, the size of the Toddleedoo baby/toddler is a good fit. The Beby Mesh Body body is smaller and less robust looking. SL heads look HUGE on this avatar. Even when I tried to make myself taller, it really just made me look thinner. That being said, I might try the new Fit Mesh version to make myself thicker and add body fat to this body. Aesthetics: The Toddleedoo is not as smooth as the Beby Body. The Beby Body is softer all round and has more realistic body proportions overall. The Toddleedoo hips are rather high for my taste and the hands are too large, even at size 0. I won’t rate the feet just yet as I have heard that the Toddleedoo creator is still updating them. The Beby Body feet are adorable but I can’t get Omega skins to look good on them (the toe lines are off center, not sure if a skin issue or a body UV issue) I also don’t like that there are multiple feet sizes for the body,… Read more »

In my opinion the competition between TD and Bebe is unreal … I like the TD more as it is chubby like a baby, and the Bebe body is more useable when you want to be 6/7 +, no baby has tiny skinny hands they don’t have thighs that look thin from the front and muscular from the side. The whole proportions aren’t right and if you ever saw a baby in real you would know that! TD is much more closer to a baby body than Bebe is. In the end it’s everyone’s own thing which body they want to use, so why even make a secret about it ? I do get that the options on the Bebe HUD are more advanced than what the TD body provides … but I heard from so many creators now that to mesh for the Bebe body is more difficult, it’s everyone’s decision what body they want to wear and so it’s every creators decision what body they want to create for, be happy with what you get and if you don’t like it, try to sit down and create a better one ! Better body, better clothes whatever exactly made you do this secret …
#7 Am I the only person who’s never had any issues with her? I mean I know of her I’m not her friend and I’ve seen her at an event I think she helps out at? I wish I knew why people are telling me to be careful of her, like some kinda proof of her behaviour? I saw one “warning” which… made me scared of her but other than that one I’ve seen nothing.

@#12. I actually wear both bodies. I prefer the Bebe Brand but wish it had more clothes and always thought it was strange that they made a body and dont have clothes for it in their own store?
The body itself is made better and has more realism than the original child Toddlee body but find myself most of the time still wearing the Toddlee body due to how much is available for it.

#2 Both Catwa and Lelutka make amazing mesh heads, both have the ability to look young or older. Shaming someone for the way they like to look is very closed-minded of you. This sort of fits #3 and #4 also… if someone wants to play the opposite gender within SL, or even a child, it’s not your business. Sure, they should be honest with people they are very close to/trust, but it seems they were and someone betrayed that trust. Being overweight, underweight, changing your gender (rl or sl), being black or white, looking young or old, etc… these things don’t make you a bad person…. constantly judging, outing and insulting people kind of does, though. Work on your issues before casting stones.

#14, Yeah, I’ve reported their items many times if I see I haven’t reported it, yet LL has not done a single thing. First report was in June, then started reporting on my alt account. I hate that it is still up.
1 – Shop hop is one of the best kid events in SL at the moment.
2,3,4 – I don’t get how you can say that about someone and then defend someone else in the very next sentence for the same thing you literally just complained about. There are all types of people in RL and SL kind of desensitizes people over that fact. People can be whoever they want. Don’t be a hypocrite.
Bebe – Personally I prefer the bebe body, but the problem, as most others have, is that 95% of my inventory is for the TD body and doesn’t fit the bebe body as well. TD hasn’t been updated in forever (and didn’t until it finally got some competition) Competition is good.
$550 is really not much for a mesh body. Just because it’s small doesn’t mean it should be worth any less. But I hope the price increase brings some better features.
In time I’d like to use my bebe body more when there are more clothes/skins for it.

A lot of people actually want the ability to be able to do these looks even if a bit more subtly than what was shown here. With Catwa, you really can’t get these looks. Genesis Lab actually made a head with a nose similar (though more tastefully done). While you may not like it, that definitely doesn’t mean that’s the official opinion of everyone. Not everyone wants to look like a perfect cookie cutter version of the next person.

Why would someone copy their RL avatar in SL? you can literally be ANYTHING..and you are stuck in that RL avatar in RL, why not make SL fun and use your imagination? it seems hard for some folks. while I love the diversity of SL it seems like it is becoming less and less diverse, and more and more “let’s look random”. I do love the leltka heads, but I also love catwa, for different reasons. Catwa you can make look cute, bitchy, and anything in between and i love the lips and side profile of catwa. Lelutka is kind of always bitchy, but I love it!
Lelutka was very hard for me to work with on an adult avatar and I couldn’t take the “bitchy” away from it. Don’t get me wrong , they are beautiful heads, but best I could do was sort of a “brat” look. Very sharp. Very angled. Very hard to pull them away from the gaunt super model features.
Catwa for me is too pouty in the lips and the ones I tried had the eyes set weird. I couldn’t get a shape that was more “Girl Next Door” but I did try.
LOGO is almost perfect for what I like but the lip size, length, and thickness is awful to try to work with. You can get the front perfect but then turn to the side and.. ick.
Bento heads are wonderful but even with all their features – you can’t undo the basic way they are modeled.
Lelutka also has more chiseled jaws with any shape you do and sliders, they are the hardest to sculpt the jawline more feminine.

#6 – Calaveras, sugar skulls and skull art are associated with Dia de los Muertos, which is celebrated from Oct. 31 – Nov. 2. It’s actually extremely timely.
That may be so, however, why offer it in a tone that requires you to purchase the body applier if you wish to wear it?
The bigger issue as I see it, is the questionable quality of some (but certainly not all) of the offerings in Powder Pack.
One brand a couple months back offered an applier with such poor shading that the nose was literally crooked (not great unless you want that look I suppose). The same brand this month offered lipsticks where the color along the cupid’s bow was incomplete on one side.
It would pay creators to remember that these ‘sampler’ boxes should showcase their *best* work and not be used as a means to get rid of what otherwise might be unsaleable.

So, not having harshly defined features in SL makes you look ‘underaged and unrealistic’ now? There are many people who are adults who do look underaged or have features that aren’t very prominent.
Not to mention since when do most of the common adult mesh heads look underaged anyway? This is mind boggling.
Curious about this too. All the heads I’ve used on my adult avatar are very harshly adult (huge lips, angled features, sharp jaw) and I’ve had a hell of a time trying to make them look more Girl Next Door and less Angled Super Model or Plump Lipped Porn Star.
#13 What makes them more underappreciated than any other Kid/Baby clothing designer? All of them work their tushes off to make clothing for the kid community and rarely do any get recognition.

Are any of us exactly the same in RL and in SL? When I look at the real world, I don’t see a bunch of young perfectly fit super models/porn stars out there and unless you look exactly like your avatar – a person doesn’t have much room to go “LUL UR REALLY 300LBS/A MAN AND NOT UR AVATAR”.

As long as someone isn’t using an online identity to be malicious or hurtful, who cares? Neither Holocluck or Mari are out there catfishing people, abusing others for fun and/or money, or using their SL identities to be sadistic. We don’t even know if what Secret Maker said is true, probably because most of us don’t care. Hell, I’m a cis woman and I had an ex try to say I was a trans male to hurt me.
All I can conclude is that Secret Maker is jealous. So jealous that it burns them every day of their lives that Holo and Mari are better people than they could ever be so this was their “revenge”.
Marianne may be one of the politest and most helpful people I’ve ever had the pleasure of running in to, going to far as to help in other creator and event groups that she has no responsibility to (see FLF group!)
