  1. 9. LOL this person who posted this is about retarded. I promise 100% neither of these people know me, but the person who posted this is stupid as fuck. That’s a windlight setting, this singh person has allowed all of SL users it seems to use their windlight settings. All that code is saying is, I am using singh’s windlight settings in my sim, just like EVERY other parcel of land XD.

    What is the big deal about the Logo? Do you know how much Logos are copied from the RL to SL????
    Do you know how much “ORIGINAL” meshes are at the SL and you can find them too in rl?
    Bitch…go wash your dishes and your dirty clothes instead of spreading hate around the SL!
    SL Secrets nowadays are submitted only by Pussies who people dont give a fuck about their Pseudo dramas!

  3. @#1 I’m staying out of that mess in general but come on peeps you don’t have to take the classes if you don’t want to…personally I prefer to stick with my “Dates with Aaron” on Phlearn who does such things as a RL profession but also makes free versions as well.. Stop whining about such things it’s an actual RL way to make money as well and it’s your choice to pay & take the class or not nobody is saying you have to take it to be a Blogger…that then would be a reason to get mad over all this.

  4. To the anonymous prick that wrote #8: What a letdown. That secret was weak and now I’m sort of embarrassed for you. Too old for second life??? Wow, shocking. You must’ve spent all week thinking up that one. However, the floppy vagina parade was funny. You can have a point for that.
    Now…as far as my kids, if I were insecure as a parent, the suggestion that I neglect my kids would burn but nope. My kids are just fine and considering I spend most of my second life time while they’re at school or during the night while they’re sleeping, your comment was a big fail…. try again.
    Moving on to the Flickr stuff, really? I’m not a fucking photographer and I don’t spend hours on photoshop creating cartoon masterpieces. (no offense to those who do, they’re lovely) I put my pics on Flickr to edit and play, sorry it’s not up to your standard but you can kindly go fuck yourself.
    This pathetic little tirade you’ve been on is getting old…..like me right? Difference is, I don’t have to be a scared, little bitch hiding behind a screen to share how I feel. I wish I could feel confident that when you’re finished with this, you’d own up but I’m sure you won’t. True pussy. (used up, floppy one at that) Can I make a suggestion though? Next week, put a little time in and show you’ve got more than a few brain cells when you think up the insults. This was like a celebrity roast for middle schoolers.   8. #1 – I’m a long-time model and sometime blogger. I’ve worked with Trouble for a long time, and also had the opportunity to work with Del and Kess. A lot of people are making money with SL. Some of them are awesome; some of them offer kind of crappy services or products and charge a lot for them or don’t offer proper customer service. However, Del (the creator of Seraphim) is one of the smartest and most competent people I’ve worked with; Trouble is one of the kindest, most patient people imaginable, and Kess is an experienced, creative, incredibly productive and organized photographer/blogger. I’m familiar with all of their attention to quality, so I think what they are offering will be pretty useful.

    Blogging is becoming the way that many designers prefer to get their items seen, because runway shows have problems with lag, so outfits don’t fully rez and the quality of the outfits isn’t always conveyed. Blogging can have drawbacks too, but designers can choose exactly whom they want showing their work, and have access to more variety of blogger styles. A good blogger can present items at their best, which doesn’t always happen at runway shows. Many involved with the fashion industry have pointed out that blogging will take the position of importance that runway shows have held in the past, and runway shows will become more and more “fashion theatre” to attract more viewers.

    Also, SL fashion is becoming less couture and more populist. Designers are focusing on creating realistic casual and sexy items that the majority of people wish to wear in their SL, and not on the wildly creative, extremely elegant, sometimes avant-garde designs that mostly only fashion nerds (like me) want to buy and wear. This change in landscape requires its own standards and techniques.

    Learning those standards and techniques will give confidence to would-be bloggers and help them serve the designer as well as possible. Providing classes and a support group for bloggers fills a need, and I think this team will do it well. If you think you can do it better, start your own school or agency. Nobody’s stopping you.

  9. #8 – I’m kind of disappointed in this secret that bashes Kara. I mean…really? ‘Floppy used up vagina’? I expected better, “anonymous”. Also, leave her kids out of it. She takes care of her own and if you knew her you would know that very well, so worry less about her children and worry more about hiding and being a jealous fuck, since that is all you are good at. Since you’re so persistent to keep this shit-talking parade about Ariel, Moses, Nyx and now Kara, why don’t you have the balls to say this shit to their faces? We ALL assume we are friends with you or have spoken to you, which is why you probably hide the bottom part of the profile before you type up some bullshit. You obviously have an issue with them…but instead you just say childish, dumb shit in the dark. It’s getting redundant, and you being a scared bitch is as well. All of us are having a laugh because your pathetic, galloping ass has been going on with this for 4 weeks.   10. #1 – I wouldn’t have a problem with this, if they weren’t trying to copy the concept that Visionaire has been doing for awhile now. They want to say that it’s different because it’s directly at blogging and not just photography, but Visionaire has had legitimately good photographers teaching the principles of photography for longer than BVN has even been a thought. It’s just another way for Trouble and Del to try and make money.

  11. #8, FIRST off, second life is for ALL ages. I have met people in their 20s up to 70s and they are all very nice and play SL for fun. Second , who the hell cares if Someone’s Flickr does not meet your standards. Believe it or not, many people do Flickr JUST FOR FUN and could care less about likes or awards. A 65 year old woman I know said, Flickr is,her image diary of SL. So who are you to judge?? It is 2017, let’s stop the age discrimination and hate!!

    • Yes i did, first email address replied “contact this ***** email address as it is our own twin studio with legal support”. From the email THEY published as for “any contact”? In the first place Bethesda may have forwarded it to the correct email/office, but well then i did it. No reply. The DMCA system is easy for abuse, but jeeese when the stolen content is SO MUCH KNOWN there shouldn’t be the need to be the IP owner to file a DMCA. Provide a location to identify the original stolen content for the DMCA to take place? Google LindenLab, GOOGLE!

  17. For those who try to use age as an insult. Please grow up. According to a survey done a few years back, the median age for players in SL is 48. It makes sense, teens and early 20’s aren’t going to have the money to pay for sims, all the new top fashion trends, homes, etc that their older counterparts are. SecondLife’s economy of 500 million USD with players cashing out more than 60 million last year alone.

    • I agree with you. I don’t understand why some people think SL should be for “young people” only. Why? My father is 70 and he’s a top gamer. He keeps in good shape at the gym each day and he plays tons of games. When my mother died I bought him a PS4 and it really helped him find a bit of joy again. We all have rights to have fun until we die.

      • This secret is probably the person themselves submitting it about themselves as usually primary school kids would say that. However, more old we get, we move our standard of who is old – usually it would be the age of potential grandparents of ours (or existing ones).

    1. Neglect your RL. That is always step 1 and you will not get anywhere in SL blogging by skipping this step. If you’re not willing to do this, then SL blogging is not for you.
    2. Go shopping in SL and get dressed like everyone else does.
    3. Take pictures of that shit.
    4. Post your pictures on a blog, Flickr, Plurk and every SL social media platform you can think of.
    5. Kiss creator ass by following them on social media and talking nonstop about their talent. Be sure to call them by Mr. or Ms. + last name. It’s not Truth. It’s Mr. Hawks to you, you lowly piece of SL.
    6. Rinse and repeat 1000 times.
    7. Watch your RL fade to complete pity.
    8. Blame everything on anxiety .
    9. Tell yourself that people like me are losers with no life. Before you do that, realize that this took me about 5 minutes and then I’m gone about my day. How much time do you spend blogging again?

    At least those people are finding ways to make money by bringing others down to their pathetic level.

    Tell me, do you brag to your RL friends and family about your SL blogging?

    • While I don’t necessarily agree nor disagree with charging for “blogging classes” I can say that, for me at least, you’ve got blogging all wrong. I blog for a few stores/events because I thoroughly enjoy creating the outfits and scenes. It’s a way to unwind for me. I have a RL full-time job, a healthy RL relationship, RL hobbies and do plenty outside of “making pretty pictures” for second life. To generalize people who blog isn’t right. Also, I have never once kissed a creators ass, that’s just not me XD.

      So on to the issue at hand, paying for blogging classes. When I first started taking pictures in SL I would have loved this sort of resource. Learning about wind-lights, photoshop and even about the viewers in general would have been such a help, especially if it was specifically aimed toward SL. Would I personally have paid for it? Probably not, because I just learned on my own or found videos on YouTube. But, that’s not to say others wouldn’t opt for it. To each their own I guess.

      Side note, I do show my RL friends my SL pictures. I think they’re fun and I’m proud of the things I can create, I think they’re cool. I mean just because SL isn’t real, doesn’t mean I’m not doing real things in SL.

Just another PSA to secret uploaders and the general unwashed masses : Real Life photos will not be posted unless proof is available that it’s easily found from the SL profile (like the DJ of last week) or that it’s an unrelated RL photo to the secret subject. Stop uploading them from your stash of stalker material. I also think it’s pretty foul to webcam sex someone and store pictures to post publicly when they wrong you….that’s also illegal so to that person carefully consider your choices in life.

    • I already said this on plurk. But L$10k is nothing. I think maybe $100 would be about right. But then again you have to take into account the demographic and there would be too many GoFundMes if they charged that.
      Either way folks have a right to make money in SL. Now it’s blogging and photography classes, back in the day it was modeling classes.

Maybe she released it before and maybe just maybe she reworked it a bit. Big fucking deal it’s an applier.       • I gave you a valid answer. Your premise is that all secrets about Toxic increase her sales. While I’m sure that’s what she wants us all to believe. The logic behind it is faulty if you understand how sales and marketing work.

        So as I said, the secrets will still be published. The free advertising ends. Besides how dire is your situation when virtual-secrets is your biggest and main source of marketing?

      • No one said it was her main source of marketing. What I was saying is that even her secrets shown her is still promoting her as well as everyone else up here who may have a secret and they own a store. I’m just not sure how you see it’s not “advertising” her for the curious people who wish to visit her store and buy for example, the said leg fades ^ .. I understand how sales and marketing works because I have done it for years in both worlds. No one’s situation is as “dire” as you state. Her biggest and main source of marketing is definitely not this site but the exposure alone is advertisement any which way you lay look at it. Hating her is great, the site is putting her up there to expose her store even more no matter what secret it may be so the free advertising commences. If her secrets don’t go up.. there is no advertising because hey the leg fades are going like wildfire at the moment because PEOPLE actually requested it not because of this site but the extra helped, just after the fact 😉

      • I don’t doubt at all the increased sales she’ll recieve from then 10s of thousands of views it will get here. If sales were that good she wouldn’t need the free advertising we’re providing. Don’t say she doesn’t because it was uploaded in the first place.

        Yes I know you subscribe to the idea of there is no bad publicity. Yet with all this exposure I don’t see her up there with the top tier stores. Perhaps because being seen here regularly is not exactly good for success. But I’m sure thats not the only reason.

      • This site slams people.. you call that advertising? I don’t think so. Sites like these are one of the reasons people go off the deep end. The fact that you can still distribute the material is sickening in itself but appreciate the little memo at the top of the entries now as well as the hotline at the bottom. Like I said, to each their own . This site doesn’t contribute to anyone’s sales or take away from anyone, it’s just a bonus on the exposure. Yet you comment about #1 saying “Also, happy to provide the free advertising” so sarcastically or not, don’t do for one what you won’t do for the other. You don’t need to like her, her store, or even step foot in it. You have that right but get the logic of the exposure and the pros and cons is all I’m saying. Being seen here regularly is up to the blogger who puts it up, in this case it would be you. You have that control so utilize it wisely if that’s how you truly feel. I’m done discussing this as well when one statement contradicts the other. Best of luck though, honestly.
