• If you hook up with a crazy in SL, it is not our responsibility to help you deal with that. If it becomes a RL issue contact law enforcement.

If you want to make a website with my RL pictures please feel free. I DON’T CARE. Do you k now how many times people on SL and in my life have made fun of my looks or my weight? Get in a fucking line, pal, there’s like 300 people ahead of you calling me names and making fun of me.

I wish you’d not body-shame yourself. I suspect I know why you did it, though, and I do understand. It doesn’t matter if you’re big, bigger, or even fat. None of this equals ugly, or unworthy, nor does it imply you have no value, or substance or meaning as a person. I know you didn’t necessarily mean it this way, nor does it necessarily mean you think ill of yourself based on these traits (ie: overweight) but I guess it does break my heart when people speak ill of themselves because of something physical.
As for ‘beauty queen’ or not: Try not to let anyone else decide this. If you’re heart is in the right place, and you mean well, are compassionate, kind, caring, then that – without intent of platitudes – makes you beautiful. I say this not intending to sound maternal or pushy.
To anyone making ‘fun’ of you for a physical trait, I ask them this: How would *you* impress the world if the entire world was blind?
I don’t know you, or pretend to kesseret, but I hope one day you are impervious to any kind of slams on your appearance. You’re worth it.

Eh secret 2 wasn’t juicy but now I want to read shouju manga lol. What’s wrong with empty booths? I think noobish designers get butthurt when they see an empty booth and feel as if the event managers should let them into these events, while knowing their meshes are not up to par with the rest. Maybe someone should start a new event 10 linden crap club xD When you know your meshes ALWAYS look like a lowest LOD upload zoomed out on 300 draw distance in a laggy region when you actually have ya settings set to high and the only person there , um there’s a problem. Step up your game get more skills don’t hate on talented designers.
You rant on the assumption the secret maker is a wannabe designer who doesn’t have the talent to make it into an event. Whether or not that is the case I think there is a point being made that the event, which is clearly Fameshed, had a no show from a certain designer for 6 days. I questioned the empty booth on day 5 when I finally gained entrance to the sim but knowing who the designer is and the kiss-ass attitude that abounds, I’m not at all surprised he wasn’t usurped by the organizers for a more reliable; ‘ready-to-go’ participant.
I don’t altogether agree with you that we need a 10 linden crap club but I’d probably sponsor you for a talk crap club,
I hate no-shows as well, but I try to give someone the benefit of the doubt. Like a computer crash or health or family emergency. It’s really easy to take a passive aggressive route, but you just never know. Seeing an empty booth or a sign saying “coming soon”does not necessarily imply what you’re saying.
Now, if it’s a habitual offender, that’s a whole different ballgame…
Same here. Every month we have the zomg somebody copied. And name monthly eventm and all shades of gray inbetween. Every quarter zomg think up the same for The Arcade. Honestly I read what people have posted naming creators calling some *cunts* this week. Seriously horrid behavior and the reality is for each person they bully or defame or try to get a reaction from I wonder what the hell sort of personality enjoys that. Narcissism at it’s best perhaps.

Me too, there are some designers who wear the ” OMG I got copied AGAIN” badge because they think it makes them look so popular everyone wants to copy them. There was one dumbie that posted to her blog, her group and public forums everytime she imagined she was copied. In the end everyone was like *eyeroll *. Insecurity is sad and pathetic
Ah yes I know who you mean. I left her group because of it. Sometimes when she would name and shame I’d go take look and if the other was cheaper or better I’d buy that one haha

Denigrating someone’s fundraiser – regardless of how legitimate you feel your complaint to be – always seems unnecessary to me. If I don’t wish to donate to the Salvation Army: I won’t. If I don’t want to fund anything – I won’t. Those I wish to donate to: I do.
It’s really a very simple concept.

I agree with Matchbook’s comment so much. While I wouldn’t ever put up a gofundme for my own personal gain, a lot of people do. And those who feel like donating, can. I don’t see why others cry about things like this. If you don’t want to donate, then don’t! They’re not forcing anyone, just throwing a line out. I was always told closed mouths never get fed. Same concept here. You don’t know if you don’t try.
