  1. Just so I can understand and be better informed should I speak further on this; Number 1, SL camp – For adult account holders in Second Life who RP as minors/children/babies. Is that right? Maybe the adults playing children bring their SL parents with them? God, really??
    Why would anyone be part of that or offended that they are not a part of that?
    Make your own camp with your SL contacts and friends. I don’t get it. Stop elevating these people to celebrity statis, stop spending money on their goods and just stop the talk. I am sure being ignored will be much more irritating and damaging to them than what you say here. But really, HK Camp…

  3. #9 – So many designers do that! There’s always people that ”complain” that they like a hairstyle but not the accessory,etc. This way they can choose. They are making more money ,you say? Great for them.

    #12- I am sorry you’re feeling that way! It is a place with cliques. Add people who you don’t see on those ‘cliques’… I’ve done it and I’ve met amazing people who are impartial and always willing to chat or give a helping hand.

    • Yeah I found that by looking at people’s friends lists, I could usually see who was in certain cliques and who wasn’t, plus reading their timeline, assuming it’s public, you can see whether they interact with everyone or just their clique-mates. I did some serious weed-eating on my timeline and then I was very selective when I started adding people again, and noticed a huge difference. There ARE non-cliquey down-to-earth people on there, just gotta look carefully.

      That said, I don’t use Plurk personally anymore because the effort of screening out the drama got to be exhausting. I use it for business only and not to try to make friends. Sadly it’s just better that way.

  4. Lucie, I normally love your comments and find them bang on, but I feel you just haven’t seen the ugly side of Charisma that many others have encountered first hand. The side that back stabs even her best friends. I am glad you haven’t encountered that side of her. I can’t speak for others, but my run in with Charisma left me to believe she is nothing more than an oversexed, needy, attention whoring back stabber. I didn’t make these secrets. I know enough to know I don’t know all the details of her life. I am just glad she’s not part of my life.

  5. Dont get “connections” confused with friends in the work field. There are alot of designers that lean on each other because they all do the same sort of thing. Content creation! Can’t that be friendly? Can we let it?
    P.S. Good thing they have a tight circle. They might run into the like of YOU otherwise!

    • Right, I hate when people assume that you get where you are because you have “connections” and not because you put in the hard work to get there. My “connections” are friends and people I have met along the way. No One has helped me get to where I am being honest, Illy and I worked very hard for many years to get to the level we are, and will continue working to further our brand and our success. We may have a seemingly tight circle, but we always welcome new friends and good people to it. People who do not know you well should not assume the worst of you. Unfortunately that is often the name of the game in sl. Thank you for your supporting words. ♥

      • Dixxie did not get kicked out of that family, because she came out as a guy. However, she did get kicked out of the previous family (she currently went back to) at one point because of lying about being a woman. They also trolled her constantly, yet now she’s back with them, and visiting them in real life. But why the fuck do you even care, really? People change families, relationships, sexes, ages, to medieval/mythical creatures regularly in Second Life. Get over yourselves already.

    I am glad I am not the only who thought that when they read that post on Seraphim. While I wouldn’t call her a fat whore, I know for a fact she does not give a rats you-know-what about anyone but herself. Sooner or later karma will catch up with her and I will sit back and watch smugly.

      • @Heidi Actually I never said anything bad about Seraphim as I always loved it and still do. Also I never went to the event you were speaking of. Yes there are people who have talked smack about Seraphim and Del, but that wouldn’t of been me. Even I said I wouldn’t of called her that bad word. I just believe she doesn’t care about people as much as she cares about business and the bottom line.

        Make sure you are more informed before you make bad guesses.

        And again it’s more hysterical to people who read Secrets if they go back 3 – 5 weeks and read all your comments. The defining moment was when you got caught (and then had to remove) the Flickr stealing a creator’s image. But if we go even further back when you were posting as Candid you made some pretty seriously negative comments about others too.

        You aren’t very smart, nobody is stalking you (classic behavior of somebody who is a sociopath and has been stalking and tries to deflect by pretending to be a victim instead) and it is because you are not very smart you keep outing yourself.

I also went on to read the designer prims blog and I think I get where this is coming from and what your motivations are here so I’m going to hand you the spade and let you keep digging. After being hospitalized for weeks and on a drip I’ve had to fight hard to come back for my family, anorexia is a serious illness, and it start with comments made by nasty people like you if you have issues with this poor girl really don’t resort to that, it’s cheap and nasty even for you.         That’s a DISGUSTING lie about people who are fighting this illness. Here is what a 50 pound person looks like. In her picture she is drinking champagne. I google imaged the image she put up it links to her Linked In account and Facebook. I am not posting that as it has her RL name and job in it and that’s her business. But in that she is happily employed, working and clearly not a pound underweight. Yet in a hospital on a drip and weighing 50 pounds? Sorry yet more lies and now she got caught out on that. I think that’s where people keep digging back at her.

        Do you know why I point this bullshit out? My sister actually DOES have a disorder. It’s a mental illness that from age 11 she has battled, and lost fights and won some days. She weights on a good month 90 pounds.

        For the disgusting idiot Elle posting this it’s a kick in the teeth to the real sufferers. THIS is what a 50 pound person looks like. This is how frail their body is, how near the end of their life they are.

      • I had to think for a bit before posting this response to Elle/Whatever.

        My concern is responding is it is enabling an person who posted regularly and lies, and uses this website to try and hurt people in a serious manner, not just yelling about hairstyles or different skin designs.

        The more people respond to her here, the more outrageous her lies come and this is where I personally felt it was time to comment because of my own history with Ana and how hurt it makes me feel to see this particular individual strike down our daily fight against what effectively is an illness that stays with us for life.

        I nearly cried looking at the 50 pound woman. She has been on our news here. And to see this person writing here pretending to be that same weight (and then clearly not have doing her research to know that she would have not just been on a “drip” as care whilst her vital functions shut down) makes me angry enough to write here.

        It doesn’t matter if you are 15 years old or 55 years old, Ana is something that deep inside still feels like all reality as you knew it, is no longer related to you. It’s a daily goal, an objective and a curse that no matter how intelligent or logical you are, you may fully succumb to and it’s helpless. It’s all consuming, and it strips away everything from your life until nothing is recognizable to you.

        My fight started at 14 and today I am 25 and whilst in a controlled state and weight healthy, it takes regular counseling and learning skills to stay there. Some days I slip, it happens so easily and even with my support network and family the damage it does to my body is severe and quickly so.

        This site, you can post all the funny, all the bitchiness you like. I hope today from a real Ana sufferer you may get a bit of insight into it. Perhaps I should thank Elle for faking it, perhaps I never would have written this in the hope it helps one other person. But it’s a insidious disease and it could affect your sister, your mum, your best friend at school or one day you.

        There have been studies where sufferers in ICU were monitored to see how treatment like refeeding worked using 68 patients, of which 62 were women.

        Average body mass index at the admission was at critical level.

        Twenty one were mechanically ventilated, mainly for neurological reasons.

        The most common complications were metabolic, hematological, hepatic, and infectious events, of which 10% occurred during refeeding. Seven patients developed refeeding syndrome. At day one, the average calorie intake was higher for patients who developed refeeding syndrome versus patients without refeeding syndrome.

        Key to the girl lying here about being 50 pounds (but clearly in active work). SEVEN of those patients died, two from acute respiratory distress syndrome and five from multiorgan-failure associated with major hydroelectrolytic problems.

        I think there is a ethical line when it comes to posting anything publically, to the bitchiness to the general back and forth. But I have read for the last 6 months I guess her comments so it’s painfully obvious that people generally have called her out for the lying and this situation is in a long line of it.

        But what I would say is perhaps Elle needs help too. Perhaps it would not be wrong to consider she has her own challenges, and mental struggles. It’s clearly not normal behavior. My own behavior is not normal, having Ana is not normal so I can identify with this. But it doesn’t give the right to be downright evil and prey on people.

        I am not going to disclose Elle’s real life I did the same searches others have done, and safe to say she had not, and never had, a battle with Ana and if you read carefully you will see where her lies trip over each other. Takes all of about 5 minutes searching her name and the details on this site linking back her own information she has put in the public domain.

        Yahoo even closed down the second Flickr she used to bully and stalk and steal copyright with. There were links posted here, so this is not a subjective “did she didn’t she” discussion. This is yes, it’s elle crescendo.

        Not to make this even more painful, but when she used to post as Candid on here the reason a lot of folks could tell is she was so obsessed over certain subjects and her writing style gives you away each week. I remember the plurks from Indigo which then posting her forum posts as Pronoun on SLU which he screen cap to show the same exact wording on things.

        At this stage it likely wouldn’t matter what name she posted with, the majority of people simply know, oh that’s the crazy woman Elle because it’s so damn obvious

      • eloquence is an awesome website. i never liked seraphim because they basically ripped off penned down and that was a hilarious blog. i know a lot of people thought it was wrong to diss people but what is this site? yes designers were ‘innocent’ and made fun of for their shitty products, but it was entertaining as hell and i used to post there all the time.

      • I am one of the past Seraphim staff that has talked badly about Del in the past. I was not at any Seraphim party though. Del is not a good person, her intentions are not for the best and she has done a lot of people that have been a part of Seraphim wrong. Vix never had this sort of drama, she was a wonderful business owner who truly cared for the staff and what she was providing to the SL community. Del on the other hand has talked trash about most of the staff, pushed out anyone she didn’t agree with or who wouldn’t kiss her ass. Give it time, she will do the same to you.

        As far as not giving my name, I will not because I choose not to. I don’t give a rats ass what you think about that. Consider it cowardly or hiding, or both… who cares? But really the same could be said about all this drama. Who cares? Not many. Those of us that are sitting here pointing out any crap we can get on Del are the ones that she has screwed over. I personally haven’t posted any secret on her, as I don’t feel many of the so called secrets posted are actual secrets. But I smile every time I read something against her, as its a step closer to the SL community seeing who she really is.

        I will always be a fan of Seraphim, as its a great site that was started by a great person. That has nothing to do with Del.

    • I, too, am glad other people see through this BS. It’s true, Del cares about nothing but her own greed and power, and the moment that is threatened, she will turn on you (that includes you, high-and-mighty Heidi, your turn will come). She’s ridden the coattails of the labor of love that Vix poured sweat and blood and tears into, and has turned it into a money-making machine for herself, a little empire to queen over.

      It makes me sick that she keeps the original stuff like the “a blog that cares” slogan and the accompanying page on the site, when it is the complete opposite of what Seraphim has become. On that page, Vix said she wasn’t trying for Seraphim to be the biggest, baddest event coverage site out there, but Del slipped up and let the her true focus show when she bragged they’re the biggest, in this sweet little note of hers. That IS her goal. She goes for breadth while Eloquence goes for depth. They are the ones who actually take pride in what they do, for the love of the work (seriously can’t believe Del claimed that with a straight face). They focus on doing it right, doing it best – not doing it fastest and biggest. Quality, not quantity. Del’s business model can only sustain itself for so long. Wal-Mart might succeed long-term IRL, but its SL event coverage equivalent will not.

      She’s sent her pitbull, Heidi, to defend her against those of us who finally feel empowered enough to speak the truth. We’re not “talking shit”, Heidi, we’re telling it like it is. (Well, the original poster of this secret was kinda trash-talking, let’s be honest, name-calling isn’t necessary, but the rest of us aren’t doing that.) For a long time Del has used the reputation Vix worked hard to build, so that anyone who spoke against her (and Seraphim) would be discredited. Now she’s burned enough people that we are finally getting taken seriously when we tell our experiences. In fact it’s Del who talks shit, not only about designers and event organizers, but even her own bloggers. Yes, I was there, I saw it firsthand. They might not trash-talk on the website like Rumor did, but she certainly lacks the professionalism and genuine caring that Vix had when she started Seraphim. Vix wouldn’t talk smack about you on the site OR behind your back. That’s why people trusted and respected her.

      Frankly I think Del should rebrand, and be more authentic about what Seraphim really is these days. But it seems more and more people are seeing the truth for themselves anyway. Smoke and mirrors can only get you so far!

  9. To the author(s) of #2 and #4. Fuck you (or fuck you both). You don’t know everything about a person based on what you see on Plurk or in SL. You don’t know what goes on behind the scenes. Just because someone chooses to share parts of her life doesn’t mean you get ALL of the information or know everything that’s happening.

    How easy it is to ridicule, criticize and belittle someone you don’t even really know with anonymity to hide your hideousness. I’d feel sorry for you, for how miserable and petty and jealous you obviously are, but she’s my best friend and one of the best people I’ve EVER known… so I have no pity. You deserve whatever misery you reap.

      • Everyone is judgmental because making judgments is a critical part of human nature. She’s never claimed to be perfect or above judgment, and neither have I. We’re all human and all have made mistakes. We all have moments we later wish we could take back or do things we regret.

        We’re all flawed. Some more so than others. But she is one of the best people I’ve known. And she’s one of the best friends I’ve had. Period.

        I’m here with my name commenting, and I’m definitely judging you. So I’ve owned my judgment, and done so with my name attached. I find it hilarious that you’re doing exactly what you’re accusing her of having done. You’re not here using your name, saying oh hey, this is who I am, this is what I know, this is what she did to hurt me (not that that would be appropriate or make you much better of a person, but hey, at least you’d be owning it). You’re not talking to her privately (as you suggested she should’ve done in your examples of how she’s a bad person) about whatever it is she supposedly did to you.         I quit SL for good over a year ago, and one reason for my decision was people like that, and people like you Sanura…people that wear little cat ears in real life public cause they feel insecure and bestranged of the REAL LIFE…people who Google diagnose themselves with Aspergers, among the SL/Plurk cliques it became somewhat enVogue to have OCDs and anxious disorders!
        Yes I believe some people might really have issues like that, but those were the people WORKING on that kinda stuff and trying to get out!
        The rest just used those kinda things as excuse to never leave the house and be on SL the whole day, like addicts!
        Instead of living your real life and work on the accountability of your REAL name you sit there infront of your PC and tell ME that my VIRTUAL alias that I gave myself on an anonymous has no accountability …OH BOOHOO really.

        You’re criticizing people’s RL choices, claiming people in SL are using it as an excuse to avoid RL, which is really none of your damn business anyway, but you’re here… on SL Secrets. A YEAR after you “quit SL for good.”

        Sanura is one of my closest friends, too. She’s an amazing person in her own right, and her fashion choices are hers to make. You don’t have to like it, or like anything else anyone in SL does in either of their lives.

        But seriously… since you’re so full of venom and judgment for the people of SL, and since you “quit for good” over a year ago, what the fuck are you doing on a Second Life Secrets page in the first place? If you harbor such negative feelings about your time in SL, why do you still care about anything happening in SL?

      • Sure some people do make alts to escape the drama they are involved in but many of us deal with the things that happen as we have made connections, stores, lives and we don’t just walk away from all of that. So yes this name, Sanura Snowpaw, does infact have accountability. It is not something I would just walk away from. Your “name” Popcorn Eater hold NO accountability, it is truly anonymous. That means absolutely nothing and has no way of being tracked to who you really are, which you hide behind.

        You claim to have quit SL over a year ago yet here you are on secrets not just viewing them but commenting. I am not sure why you would talk to or keep up with other SLers as you are so proud of the fact you left. I am not sure how you have time to keep up with SLers, plurk and SL secrets with the full life you claim to have.

        I don’t wear cat ears because I am insecure I wear them because I like them, I also wear disney themed hairbows, Minnie ears, and other cute fun things in my bright pink and teal hair! This works for me I could care less if it works for you or why you THINK I wear them.

        I have never googled to try to find a diagnosis, I don’t pretend to have something I don’t have. I have seen medical professionals and gotten proper diagnosis. I am getting help from proper doctors but I doubt you know who I am, what my issues or diagnosis is. You just want to bash and trash on me and my real life. I don’t use my illness/disability for an excuse. I have a very full life which, yes, includes Second Life and creating there. Which is actually part of my treatment.

        People like you who attack people without knowing anything about a person or their circumstances, are exactly why I debated sharing my real name publicly.

        It sounds like you are a very sad person who gets pleasure not only from judging them but also attacking them.

  11. #10, Since when is it a secret that me and Kattington are friends?? I am SOOO glad that everyone know’s now lol. I mean we really worked hard to keep that information from everyone for over a year now, I would hate for anyone to know who I’m friends with. As for connections I’m not really sure what that’s referring to, but eh then again most of these secrets are pointless posts made by people with nothing better to do than pay attention to the lives of everyone else.     • Yeah, that’s pretty much Lamb’s business model, but no ones complaining about her. Looks like someone’s realll selective with the bones they pick with people. I feel like as long as the accessory clearly shows a lot of effort, lots of detail and work, then it’s no problem.
