I’m going to say one thing as someone who uses said sites for graphics some of those terms absolutely do NOT permit the use of the images in this way. They are never to be redistributed full perm in digital format for any reason. So yes, for some of those images she’s used in the past she 100% is not following the terms of service. I don’t think anyone is accusing her of “not hand drawing it” but actually using content that wasn’t licensed by the owner for her to use (the screenshot seems to indicate the owner was not aware of it’s use this way?) or not using them correctly.

there is no full permission other than she is literally giving you templates of a brand SHE CREATED FOR YOU for you to use in marketing templates. if you’re paying for a branding for your store, you’re not going to edit the artwork yourself (i believe she flattens/expands said logo and just gives you the logo to throw on your own promotion materials). you have a brand created for you. you’re going to keep said brand in tact, right? so you are usnig said BRAND IDENTITY as a brand identity.
this is literally how most freelance and corporate graphic design works outside of SL. i don’t know what to tell you. that olya’s illustrations are all over (it’s literally used in spa artwork in my country) is a graphic designer doing graphic design?
You are very hung up on the fact that she says it’s perfect for logos – this means the person can buy it in a logo and use it for a business for themselves – not transfer this to others in a digital format. Giving access to a .PSD with the digital file is not permitted by most of these websites. You can keep spouting on and on about the fact that it can be used in a logo but this proves you clearly don’t understand what you are talking about.
There are different types of licenses as explained to you below by others, personal, commercial use, etc. I guarantee that Toxxic is not paying for the license to redistribute the graphic.

Ok so, I sell art assets on several websites, design bundles, creative market, envato marketplace, etst.. etc etc It’s good money! Now there is a license that comes with it. And several buying options. The price you pay determines the license. Personal use only, light commercial, heavy commercial and unlimited. Most of these people will buy the personal use only, cause it’s the cheapest. Now when we look at the license a little closer, it outlines how to use these products. Licenses vary from site to site but a lot of them are similar. For example most of them allow you to use the product for ONE PROJECT ONLY. If you were to use those assets in a commercial manner again you would have to purchase a new license.That does not mean I’ll use this one picture for this project, thise other picture or asset for another. Nope just one project, period. Second you are sipposed to make that assets yours, change it, simply slapping in t on a background and adding some text or making it a seamless pattern isn’t enough. Third When you sell your project, the files are supposed to be integrated in such a way that the purchaser can’t just pull the original artwork out by itself. So if for example one of my images was used as is and put in a branding pack sold on sl I would (and have before) file a DMCA. As it’s the file as is, no changes, now someone else owns it, has no idea of the original licensing agreement and might use the file for a whole number of different projects. As far as permissions go, it depends on the site that Toxxic used to get the asset from, and from a quick bit of searching this specific moth asset is offered on at least 3 different websites. Maybe there is a chance that she misunderstood the license, mistakes happen, but she takes her work seriously and wouldn’t do it intentionally.

Consuming and creating fictional CP doesn’t “satisfy those urges” and keep pedophiles from being interested in real kids, it makes their fixation grow and normalizes it. Gonna get a bit personal here, but I’ve seen the documents and evidence in criminal cases where pedophiles have been caught. It’s sickening and haunting. Clearly you don’t read books that grasp you and make you feel. Actions in RP and books can/do have effects on the people taking part of or reading them.
The sim should have an SA warning, and everyone has the right to FTB or walk away from an RP.

SA is not part of **rp culture** in the GoT RP community WITHOUT CONSENT. We all know that it occurs in the books, but SA is not mandatory and there is no reasonable expectation to be sexually assaulted in RP.
Besides, enough people consent to SA rp that it’s not necessary for it to be an expectation.

17 18 This thread on SL reddit was so gross. Normally the mods just post “we can’t do anything, tough luck” when people post about their bans, but this time it was a femboy – I think all 3 mods are lgbt – and so the thread was go go go and the mods went to battle to save the femboy! They tried to create a narrative that he’d been targeted by some nasty anti-lgbt types. It never occurred to them that maybe it was a fellow gay who was fed up of people looking like kids. One mod seemed to know of numerous femboy’s who’d been banned!! (read my friends)
Finally, he posted his pics and it was obvious why he got banned – namely he’d created a sexualised child avi, When it was clear he was in the wrong the mods then tried to say permanent bans were wrong. One mod said a permanent ban was way too severe and that it was a case of ‘your avi needs work’. A second said nobody should be banned forever and that banned users should be told they are having ‘issues’ and ‘see you in six months’. Which is a bit weird given how freely they ban anybody who dares even the slightest transgressions.
What made it funny was he said a few of his buddies had been banned so you’d think this might have been a wake up call to check the rules, but no.

Yea, I agree. Every single so called “femboy” i’ve seen has looked like the pics above. Lucky for you, you can buy the same animations he uses in dozens of other stores; check the contents tab in Edit before you buy any furniture. You’ll see that all the animations from most places are made by the same handful of people. Some people do good work with them and charge reasonable prices, like Lalou, while some people do barely mediocre work with them and ridiculously overcharge, like Bandor.
Maui needs to poof into the great beyond already. Bandor and Dani allow for all kinds of shit in the sim and wonder why people don’t come around, you have the debauchery spam but then you have a bunch of fucking drama llamas and more people that act single than swing there when its supposed to be a swingers place.
They also need to do better by kicking out people who are now using Maui as a place to AFK, and I don’t know which shithead “interviewer” it is but someone keeps allowing short fucking female avatars into the group and onto the sim.
My avatar is 5 foot 5 inches which is tall enough to be considered average female adult height, but then there’s these female avatars I’ve come across at Maui and they barely come up to my tits/neck area.

Couldn’t agree more. Several questionable avis there lately. I’d hoped (in vain) that when they had the most recent drama-surge that led to a large chunk of the existing “elite” leaving, it would make things better, especially the departure of the three witches who always stood like a malevolent cluster of tits ‘n ass in the middle of the floor there (Crimson, Cryptic and the other one whose name I can never remember). But it’s still the same old story. There’s also the issue of the “swinging” couples who join where it’s obvious HE wanted to and SHE went along with it. Bandor’s stuff is crap anyhow – it looks dated (go back to the 1970’s) and it is ugly – not to mention high prim. Why pay for for one of his couches when you can decorate a whole room from another vendor?
Absolutely. He buys meshes, textures, and animations- the only actual work he does is fitting the animations onto the furniture, and he does a barely passable job of that. Now, this is mostly true for about 80% of furniture stores in SL- very few are making their own original animations or meshes- but at least some of them make nice looking textures with some depth like properly used materials and shadow maps. Bandor never even bothered with regular materials, so there’s no way he’s going to do PBR, and his stuff is going to just keep getting more outdated. Is he ever going to show the awareness to reflect that in his prices? Probably not. He will probably just continue in this delusion until he truly can’t afford Maui anymore and then he will blame everyone else for having to close it.
A certain furniture store with full perm meshes but original animations and textures put a piece of brand new furniture out with a big discount for group members for the whole month before xmas- less than 5k for all these unique, physics and bento enabled animations you can’t buy anywhere else. Bandor thinks his generic shit is worth more than that, and he’s so resentful at offering any discounts he can only stand to do it for a few hours at a time. It’s actually kind of funny.
