Here’s how it works: Person X faxes a form letter to Linden Labs which says “Person Y stole my intellectual property.” Linden Labs does not get involved in disputes between sellers and they can’t judge the merit of the cases. It doesn’t matter if the claim is BS, any time a claim is made, Person Y is required to pull their entire store until: a.) the matter is dropped due to no response or court case within a certain time frame from Person X who filed the complaint, or b.) the case goes to court and is dismissed or the judge rules in Person Y’s favor. Genus briefly came back, because Person X who filed the complaint did not respond in time.
If you have no idea what you are speaking on, you need to stop speaking.The first DMCA was never resolved, it simply was dismissed due to the person who filed it not going to court.The current one is unknown, but everything points back to the first person who filed it. Genus are not exit scamming.
