#1 – I have rented a homestead from RGF earlier this year for 4788 a week. The first month was low, the second month it went up 500L, the third month it went up another 500L. The first time I was sent a notecard telling me the rent went up. The second time, I received no notice. When I questioned why I wasn’t notified I was told that there was no time. There have been no increases in fees handed down by LL, and the person I spoke with couldn’t tell me why, just that it needed to happen. I would seriously suggest that nobody rent from this company anymore. Find a place where you tier is locked in when you rent from them. Rich just needs to pad his wallet and take advantage of people. I know someone else this happened to. And if people keep renting from him, he’s only going to continue to do this. I did not rent the 3rd month, in fact I left mid way through that, but just let the land sit empty so he had to wait until my tier was up to do this to someone else.

Yah I struggle with this one. Pretty certain the fees will not come as a surprise. I don’t believe VAT is applicable (VAT is Value Added Tax for any non-Brits and is essentially sales tax) as PayPal is a financial service. Again fees aren’t a surprise.
#7 – Having attended this event, I can say that the organisers are the rudest bitches I have encountered in SL for a very long time indeed. Absolute shambles of an event and I am so very glad I wasn’t asked to participate in other ways.
Honestly I have to agree with you, I attended most of the event days with a group of friends, I found it to be extremely lack luster and honestly after attending a bunch of the contest extremely disappointed. I’m all for gay pride but not just men are gay so I’d firmly like to know why only men won the contests, every single day it didn’t feel very inclusive at all. I’d not be so against it but each time a guy won there were other people around who had much better costumes, females and males alike. Especially the last day I was absolutely fuming about who won the drag contest considering I saw 1 female who was much MUCH better than the guy, I mean she went all out. She looked like a well put together drag act. This guy who won his skin was grey barely any makeup and he wore a long ass coat and some thigh high boots, that’s the extent of his costume. There was even another guy who was so much better dressed than him so like I say extremely disappointed 100%
I certainly will not be attending next year, the whole thing felt extremely rigged.

I was ashamed to see some of my favorite creators like Val’more,Hilted,Haro and The bearded guy support a event that blatantly supports the ripping of content from other game’s. This crown is not the only ripped item in the event from another game either. Content theft is wrong no matter what.

I dare to say that AT LEAST 50% of all content being sold at “original mesh” events is infact NOT original i.e…. purchased files from 3D content websites, ripped content from games, etc…
Also, HOW do you see 2 creators putting THE SAME ITEM on sale at your event in the same round and nothing strikes you as odd? Are you even looking at what your creators are putting up? What were you so busy with? The fact that people need to tell you that TWO creators are putting the same copyright infringement item in 2 SEPERATE BOOTHS and that you guys are still oblivious… actually that’s kinda amazing. This level of incompetence can do nothing but serve as a severe warning to ANYONE considering entering your event.

How is this copyright? The creator is using their own logo as texture and mesh lettering (so clearly original design), is it the bag shape that you’re referring to? Because look at the handle, it has been altered also…. The helmets at this other event are both EXACT REPLICAS (texture, and shape) and sold by 2 separate creators in the same event on the same round.
Maybe just advertise your event with “Copyright infringement welcome, we don’t look after anything except accept booth fees. Our position is nothing more than symbolic.”
