#53 – Just wanna say that if your event ISN’T listed on Seraphim then chances are GREAT I wont be attending it. I love window shopping and seeing what I am gonna demo/buy BEFORE going to the lag fest and waiting for stuff to rez to see what it is, slowly camming the sim. Seems like a better idea being able to plan ahead than take up space at the event slowing checking things out as they rez. I have been using Seraphim for all my SL retail therapy for several years now.
The events have their own window shopping links. Don’t be lazy having to go to one man made site bowing down to them that they are hot shit and only they are allowed to advertise others events. Actual events are allowed to advertise their own events with actual AD’s. Serephim likes to take shitty photos of stalls and move onto the next stall.

I think the sentiment is that it’s not really that hard to just go to another website to window shop since the criticism was “if an event doesn’t let me window shop then i won’t go”. They also point out the event controlled sites allow better images since they’re not posting about events en masse.
To each their own in my opinion, I don’t mind visiting other sites personally; I’m more turned off that Seraphim isn’t taking the high road and remaining neutral in a beef between event owners. Seems like that’s the unfortunate part for a site designed to inform shoppers.
How do you get those links? Do events really expect us to join and stay in their groups when there is no other benefit and we have such a tight group limit? Are they going to offer the info via subscriber terminal? I mean if I’m gonna get a link to a gallery from events like Fameshed then cool, but otherwise most events are probably gonna lose traffic by choosing to forgo Seraphim advertising.
For the record, I’d love to see 90% of events die, if for no other reason than the deadlines and pressure causes creators who would usually fit for multiple bodies to have to choose and only do what’s most popular.

#30 & 52 — I met this girl over 3 years ago though we’ve never been friends. She’s manipulative, a liar, a scammer, attention whore, heartless and cruel, thrives on attention, and loves creating drama before ditching the friend/family. I don’t know if she’s mentally ill or just a horrible person. Everyone that has ever tried to defend her eventually realizes they’ve been duped and that she IS as bad as everyone says. I’ve known several of her victims and it’s really sad that she continues to get adopted. She’s had more than 40 different families in her time on SL, more than a dozen of those in the last 2 years, and that’s just the ones that made it long enough for her to change her name (check out allllllll the name changes in the profile web/feed tab). She should be banned from anything adoption related to protect the naive and trusting from ending up discarded and afraid to adopt again. She is what’s wrong with kids and families and I wish there was a better way to spread the word. Kaysha is a disease… just say NO.

Sadly, I have to agree with you. I appreciate the attempt at new alpha textures and they are nice, but the conflicts are out of control and the lack of color options offered was a huge disappointment. They said more colors are coming back, but who knows when, and meanwhile I can’t even wear that new gift because it leaves the back of my head bald. If you’re noticing an improvement in performance after a blacklist it was their rendering cost causing graphical lag on your end.
