#9. No idea about this hunt, but i always looove MadPea games, however some are very disappointing, like paying 5k for some ratchet shit you can not even play with your friends. Or making Gacha`s that benefit such interactive games, 75L per play. Now that really pinches my nerves.

#11 Get over yourself. Don’t like something? don’t buy it. Don’t like how an event is run? Do something yourself for once. Shame on YOU for not appreciating the hard work that goes into building something. How much have you built for the community? I’m guessing nothing but drama. Yeah.
For Nobody, A lot of people put in hard work to SL and create really amazing things. Many go unappreciated. I don’t think thats what is being ranted about. Designers talk a lot about the pressure of Arcade and the demands they have with little support. And I think what this is about is holding one of the owners to the same standards they put on others. In the blogging world its sorta the same. I work hard and want to know that others have to also, even the managers. R.E.S.P.E.C.T.
Commoner/Emery made Chatterbox, helps run the Arcade (maybe even help create it?), runs a cool welcoming book club in SL, has half his Second Life gift shop mostly a hangout cafe space. He is dishing out tons of tons of positive into the Second Life community.
Yes, his monogram gachas are questionable in quality (I don’t personally like monogram items). Yes, people LOVE monograms (worked in retail, they are impulse buys and they sell out quick). Yes, everything else he does/makes is pretty awesome and or fun.

You know, Emery may not have the most complex items, but he is one of the nicest people I’ve met in Second Life and his items are well made. He doesn’t deserve this backlash. If you co-owned an event, you’d probably also have your store in it. His creations are in no way bad, and just because the arcade (owned and delegated by more than just him) decide to have a standard does not mean you should try to run him down.
Honestly you sound like a store jealous because they can’t get in the Arcade. I’ve never been invited myself, but Id never run down the people in it or who own it. With that attitude, you’ll be lucky to get invited to even Suicide Dolls. Leave Emery alone. He has more credibility in his thumb nail than you have in your entire body. He deserves his success as much as you deserve the foul life that comes along with your negativity and hatred.
You have to admit though, this particular effort is paltry at best.
On another note, anyone know why Tres Blah hasn’t been at The Arcade for a while? It was my favourite!
#10- Well this doesn’t surprise me one bit. She could never be an original in the first place. Same skin template for her skins, just slightly altered the sliders. Same mesh shirts just retextured. Shapes can easily be made on sl . Nothing of her’s is original. It’s all copied. You can change textures on your clothes and change a few words, but that doesn’t mean it’s original. Did you not think no one would catch on to this? How you are in events is beyond me. Probably kissing the event owners butt and crying like you are a victim to get in. Go ahead and post this on your facebook, just like you always do. But it’s really time for you to get called out on your acts. You can cry wolf but we know the truth on how you do things. She complains about people not liking her stuff but how can we? It’s all the same. Should really learn how to make your own clothes, cause then just maybe you will get liked. Until then, just go back in hiding and figure out why you can’t be original.
#10 Does not surprise me one bit she couldn’t come up with original ideas. Just because you put it on a shirt and change a few things here and there, does not make you a original. IT MAKES YOU A COPIER! Learn how to make different outfits and quit thinking you can get by with things like this. We are always watching creators. I don’t see how she got in to events with outfits like this. But it’s time she get called out on her acts. She will probably read this and rant about it on her facebook like she always does when she gets called out. If you pay attention to her outfits, she uses the same mesh shirts, just retextured.

Hey Nina (waves) we know your watching the comments. We think your choice in hater tunes stinks. Calling consumers out as “haters” because they are bringing something they don’t like to your attention. Like stealing from RL designers items and copy and pasting them onto the same mesh over and over. Doesn’t make us haters. It makes us smart about how we spend our lindens. If you are unwilling to put time, money and real effort into your items than we don’t expect to see you in events with those that do. Why? Because you don’t belong there. We know you make very little sales so clearly you are just lazy and cheap with your business. We are happy you learned how to copy and paste in Photoshop that’s a step but it’s going to take a lot more to earn the respect you feel so entitled to having in the world of creation. With the time you’ve had your store open you should have “grown” by now. You’ve been open for YEARS. The items you put in events are beyond subpar compared to those you surrounded yourself with. It’s honestly sad that event owners are allowing her in events. No one can figure out why. Then having Deliah partner up with her for shop hop was surprising. Why someone with clear talent would partner her brand with that trash is beyond me. Amaya/Nina always seems to be up the asses of talented people. Makes friends with them to get sympathy invites into events. Maybe she is using all those big bucks she’s making with her little dorks monies.
You are a trash designer. Your an even trasher person. How you have people supporting you is beyond me. It’s clearly not her talent and unique creations getting the event owners attention so what is she really doing behind the scenes to get into all these “high-end” kid events. The public would like an explanation Nina.
#9 – I have to agree….the Halloween hunt was a disappointment. ALOT of sim bopping around and at the end the prizes you picked were nothing special. I won’t be participating in the next one.
I remember when madpea games were amazing and well worth the 1k, the prizes were from stores we loved 🙁 I end up deleting everything I’ve gotten the last couple times.
#11 – Knowing how to make money in SL doesn’t make someone’s work “crap.” Yeah most of it is basic, but the sheeple flock like birds to anything monogrammed, and Emery has figured that out, so who cares? Don’t like it, don’t buy it. But it’s just economics – people want monogrammed stuff, or stuff with “Sayings” on it – so that’s what he makes. Lazy, sure, but smart, definitely.
Still waiting on those plywood boxes with letters on. It’s been YEARS.
Sorta agree in principle with ya and maybe for an every day release or whatevs would be fine. Thinkin though the person was talking about them holding other designers accountable and the pressure they have of Arcade when one of the owners gets to throw this in. Double standard maybe?
#10 isn’t that just the same thing she did for her thimble last month from her “Halloween” t-shirts. Probably used the exact same mesh template too. Why is it this store is in every single event? Releasing the same retextured templates over and over?

It’s amazing how some events will let that crap in just because they don’t want to “upset” the designers. Changing the font or some of the words doesn’t make it “Original”

Stop copy and pasting RL designs onto cheap meshes and PLEASE for the love of all that’s holy please just give up on trying to be a skin maker.
