@The arcade stuff was a bit disappointing this round and could understand about people being let down but don’t buy it if you don’t like it, point blank. @the busty big avi’s, some of my shapes are a bit full figured and busty too but not too extreme, but agree that it is sl and you don’t have to look at them, they aren’t bothering anyone sl is a place for each person to individually express themselves and shouldn’t be judged but that’s your salty opinion. @The fin domme wannabes, yes lol it’s a shame because people just slap shit in their profile and call themselves a fin domme either desperate for money or just to make themselves stand out when a real fin domme does it for the kink and power and doesn’t really need the money at all they do it because they can and know how to be a fin domme. @Pandora mental case, within one week I’ve heard more than 3 people have been harassed by this infamous nut job, I’ve also rubbed elbows with her too and its easy to just block and report and keep your private or personal matters to yourself. Lmaooo yeah when I read that I didn’t even send her my notecard … on the main arcade sim I played the gacha 54 times and didn’t received stuff 5 times which I am pretty sure was the rare house … so in the future I simply won’t play her gacha anymore and rather buy from a yardsale
Can you really blame her for not wanting to refund/give extra for more than two? How many people must have told her they didn’t receive 4 or 5 or 10 or more, and she has no way of knowing whether it’s true or not?
I realize it’s the people who play the most who are hurt by this the most, and I’m sure that’s why she’s willing to refund at all, but she can’t just be expected to take everyone’s word for it when some people probably abuse that.

That’s a bit of a stretch, they are probably not the same person but its undeniable that they were and continue to be close friends and at least in one of those photo comparisons, you can see the top area of the butt is legit the same with other stuff on top of it. Both are using textures that does not belong to them and are being illegaly used in order to make profit. Both of those textures looks like The Shops texture after sneezing some tint on top of them.
@Yeah – I agree, there are way too many similarities for this to pass. I won’t go so far as to accuse them of being the same person but they both DEFINITELY either used the same source images, or they bought their template from the same place.
Yes all skins have these details but for them to be drawn, placed, highlighted and shaded in the EXACT same way? Highly unlikely.
As someone who creates textures, I notice these things. I also understand how people who *don’t* work with textures might miss how similar the details are. But the shape and shading on the lips, down to the imperfect/uneven arches of the butt crack that just to happens to be on the Right side of BOTH skins, to what you even mentioned about the bottom of the spine shading above the butt, they’re identical.
So either there’s some “dirty work” involved (As David likes to refer to), or Gac studied and duplicated david’s skins to the smallest of details. Not sure which is better tbh.
I’m with Divos on this. I wear the Stray Dog skin and until someone files a DMCA you can stop with the rumor and rhetoric.

If any of it were true, and the complainant filed one, your textures on your mesh would suddenly disappear. Any creator knows this. It’s just gone from your inventory folks. Thanks to Gac for creating some great skins. Keep up the amazing work.

I find it quite unfair to take the texture from another 3D artist work… however if they asked for the permission or if it is free-to-use then no problem.
If you Google “Men Back Reference”, it’s really quite easy to see the back references Gac uses:

This secret was clearly not posted by someone who is familiar with texture creation. If so, then they would not have even bothered because they would clearly see the L’Etre and Stray Dog skins are not the same.
Rather, this is a secret posted by someone with too much time on their hands and interested in creating drama when there is none present. Gac is one of the most talented, original creators in Second Life and shame on you for trying to slander a store that is dedicated to bringing amazing skins to the people of SL.
I would strongly encourage this person to find a hobby that will be more lucrative than spreading this trash.

Noticing that there’s two comments posted with the same time, attacking the same person isn’t paranoia. It’s literally pointing out how oblivious you are that people will notice that it’s likely the same person trying to make it look like multiple people hate whoever it is you’re trying to attack.

I agree with this. I think that Zerkalo could at least hire someone to create the textures for the items. The mesh portion of the items seems at least fairly okay, but the textures are horrible; some of them don’t even look like they have been baked.
As an arcade designer myself, I’m very annoyed with the profit leeching thing. They took hundreds of dollars from my machine from me and I am not pleased.
#1 Simple, just don’t part with your lindens if the item’s are shitty.
But if all the other stuff was subpar and you didn’t make much, doesn’t that mean your stuff was subpar also. Tons of subpar stuff means the good stuff stands out even more.
Hope the gatcha trend dies down, the quality at all gatcha events is already dwindling. I usually at least bother to buy the stuff in MP but lately not even worth that.

#1 I have to admit there were some sad, sad items at Arcade for June 17. Zerkalo was awful; a pillow, a blanket, a table, etc. Not really usually up to Arcade standards. Many high-end events have at least one or two empty stalls lately. So what state is the SL shopping event really in? Hopefully transitional and will come out a lot better in the end.

Granted, the label-maker font in #2 is worth an honorable mention, but it really does piss me off that nobody has dipped into the bottom of the font barrel this week. Oh and #8? Yeah, Epiphany has maybe 4-5 good machines each round. The rest are crap. Arcade has 4-5 bad machines, the rest are good. Beyond that, don’t bother with gacha. Chapter 4s is total crap.
