@That one girl says, you mean benefits, not behooves. Using a (to you) more obscure word that has an entirely different meaning from the one you clearly intended makes you look pitifully ignorant. Although you weren’t exactly a shining example of well educated intelligence beforehand.
If you were truly as intelligent as you claim to be, you would know that “behooves” is synonymous to “benefits”. The person you’re addressing did not use the word out of context.
Try again, though.
#13 – No idea what creator is being targeted here, but for a pose to be bento requires just 1 thing: to be built on the bento skeleton, no matter how simple or elaborate the finger articulations are, and thus requires a bento-compatible viewer to play the pose. Also, with the various hands out there, a pose built and tested using, say, the Maitreya bento hands, might not look as good with either Vista or Slink bento hands and vice versa. From the picture, the 1 visible hand seems to be driven by bento bones. Would need to see it in world from various angles to see what specific problems might exist.
#9 LOL, I never understood why it’s ok for one group of people to use a word but another group can not. If you find it “offensive” for one group to use it but then use it yourself because you’re in another group you are just as racist. Selective segregation is the issue in the world. People can’t segregate themselves on somethings and then demand equal rights on other things. Either everyone is equal and can say, do, and go where they want or no one is and we segregate ourselves across the board.
This is peak white peopling.
Yeah cause sitting and Listening to black people use the N word day in and day out with each other, and not get mad but getting pissed off when a white person says it is perfectly OK… Shorty that is wrong. Its not white peopling, to call out hypocrites, its the damn truth!
Bless your heart.
Ha “white peopling” ? sounds like a dip label a liberal idiot would use. I guess you’re also one of them feminists idiots that use “mansplaning”. That said, you sound like person that contradicts everything you say and only wants equality as long as it behooves you.

Just looking for peoples reviews on mesh heads -specifically bento (I’m in the market for a mesh head and wanted opinions)
What kind of features are you looking for? Even with Bento, head shapes are still very dependent on the original meshes. (Right now, I’m loving my Kimberly by Catwa, but I’ve tried some smaller brand heads like Lightstar who don’t get much press but have some very interesting faces when you put an Omega skin on them.)
I remember being on a sim with #16 before. She was a bloody lunatic then. Very two faced.
#16 once didn’t get her way so she saw to it she ruined a sim. Picked up the build and left to open her own.
#16- Let’s not forget that she’s stolen lore from other sims that aren’t around anymore. Not just one, but several. Let’s be original by claiming other people’s work, that’s how you succeed in SL, right?
You mean Vampire the Masquerade and White Wolf lore? No offense, but a lot of people use it for inspiration. I doubt any of them actually own it.
I’d also like to point out, that most proper sim owners will openly credit white wolf on their sites, being all HEY WE USED STUFF FROM THESE GUYS! She hasn’t done that, nor credited the people she ‘borrowed’ from, also with all that artwork on her site, she should be crediting the artists as well (Another thing proper sim owners have done/do) It really doesn’t take much to make a page to be all – we took this from here and here and here- she doesn’t do that, she’d rather people think it was all her work.
I doubt anyone was referring to the WOD/VTM parts of her lore. The other bits and pieces that are taken from other sims lore and websites in sl I am sure is what they are pointing out. As a sim owner that has seen their ideas/lore on this womans site I can fully understand, but if she feels the need to use others stuff to be creative so be it. I mean she did take credit for the word “host”, so be careful sims owners. Clearly it didnt work for her, rumor has it as we have also seen on here, her sim bombed. I personally dont know, her lore/idea has never appealed to me, but I always assumed she would do ok with it. I always said someone would enjoy it, I didnt realize it would only be her 3 admins (according to the other person) I can say I have personally visited her sim three times, first two times it was completely empty, last time one lead was AFK in sim. Better luck next time!
#18 – So let me get t his straight, you are so butthurt that not only do you stalk her profile, but you also spend the time to do this? It is a sad day when you think this is ok behavior. The reality of it is this… you are jealous, you are butthurt, you are someone who has a nasty heart, so don’t go looking yourself in the mirror and thinking you are a good person. You really are not. Deep down you sit there and secretly wish the worst for people while smiling in their face. You are truly a mean, nasty, manipulative person.
You hide behind the anonymity of this site, feeling like you have won, feeling like you have hurt her, but really.. you have failed. You have failed because no one cares about some faceless, gutless person on the internet that will never amount to anything but resorting to little meme’s to make your miserable and lonely life worth something, and trust me, it only means something to you, not to ANY of us.
#3, #4, #5, #6, #7 – are we on facebook sharing meme’s or on SL Secrets? Come on I get enough warm, fuzzy I’m hurt memes on facebook and instagram where is the secret in these… lame!!!! SL Secrets, your’e slipping into a landslide of boredom.
#18. Last time I checked we were allowed to be with whomever we want. What a person does in their free time is there own business. Okay so it’s not the first time they are together… who cares? Is it hurting you for them to be together… Didn’t think so… find something better to do with your time than to stalk someones relationship status.
#14 — 40% of 2000L is 1200L. So the sale is inworld and MP. Changing it from 1600L to 2000L before a sale though, that’s just low.
40% of 2000L is 800L… just saying
#16:
The La Asuncion sim is a dead sim full of people that don’t RP. Race leads that act like assholes IC and OOC and run players off and that is if they are even around. Most act like you’re bothering them if you ask questions about your race, or try to get more people involved in a story arch. Very rude, cold, and unapproachable.
There’s about 4-8 people on sim most days, and 3+ are admin that just stand in their houses doing nothing not getting involved in their own sims RP.
One guy hasn’t moved from the same location in over a month!
Not the greatest start for a ‘beta opening’ that place is going to close before it even gets off the ground. I didn’t make the secret here, but I’ve been RPing there for some time and am leaving because of it’s laugh worthy admin/owners that dump ALL the work on the leads and do nothing to help improve or game play.
2# Yes they look very alike and maybe she did use the same skin, but one is for Catwa and the other is for Lelutka, not everyone has both heads.
#17 Truth
#18. Very mature. This only shows your jealousy.
fuck off number 9) i do what i WANT
I’m laughing so hard.
Well if that isn’t the truth, #3! I wish it was a bit more specific so we know exactly who you’re throwing under the bus here–but I can’t even count on my fingers and toes how many times I’ve ran into the same type of problem…Second Life or not.
#12 I always groan when I see something I really want in a Gacha. I just end up waiting a few weeks until the reseller prices end up as something reasonable. I respect the creators that don’t get involved with such a greedy practice.
#14 I’m always a bit dubious about supposed “sales”. I prefer when stores reduce the price on their gift cards…that way you are certain of the value, and that there’s no funny business.
I design for mostly non-gacha releases but will sometimes create a gacha collection for an event and FYI, it’s not greed that pushes clothing designers to create gachas. I make MORE off of something like in Uber or C88 than i do in gacha events such as Arcade or Epiphany. And that is with me creating only one or two items for the non gacha release as opposed to 2-3 big items and 3-4 accessories for the gacha collections. This is not to say that I don’t make enough to make it worth it, I certainly do but it’s not a get rich quick scheme.
It can be very frustrating for designers when people automatically say they are being greedy by participating in gachas. We often do this simply for something different and because we are asked to by our customers. And it is A LOT of work. From meshing each piece individually, creating mesh body sizes for each piece, rigging each piece for each mesh body, testing to make sure clipping doesn’t happen *which is inevitable*, texturing each piece, getting them all packaged JUST right for the gacha events.. This is just a quick rundown of the very long process.
Just because you may not agree with the practice, doesn’t mean others don’t enjoy it & it’s automatically a shady way to make money. I guarantee you the month of preparation for the gacha event as opposed to the week of preparation for a non gacha event is not putting any designer THAT far ahead income-wise if any at all.
I do gachas, when I do, because they are fun and I enjoy seeing my collection being enjoyed by others. If you don’t like them, don’t shop them. Fairly simple.
Just an opinion from a designer’s point of view.
I like gachas. I have a couple in my store and I visit gacha events at least once a month. My rule when it comes to gachas is unless I like every single thing in a machine and don’t really care what color/version I get, I won’t play it. If I get duplicates, I usually hold onto them in a separate inventory folder and hand them out as Christmas gifts, or I’ll trade them with a friend if they happen to be looking for something specific.
I don’t really care if others get greedy. As long as I’m happy with my purchases, who cares what someone else does? Obviously, there is a market for resale of these items, and if people are willing to pay thousands of lindens for a rare, there’s nothing in place to stop them from doing so. I think if the designers were upset about reselling of their gacha items, they’d be putting those rares in their own stores for about half what the resellers are charging on MP and calling it a day.
From a consumer standpoint, what it boils down to is how much am I willing to pay for something I want? If the price is too high, then I simply move on. No harm, no foul, and it’s certainly not the creator’s fault if I drop 2-3K in a gacha machine because my stupid self just HAS to have that specific pair of shoes.
I’m sorry that my opinion upset you, but I think you’re probably taking it a bit too personally.
I didn’t say that it was shady. I agree that the rules of the game are clear, and people can simply choose not to play. I still think that it is generally a greedy way to make money.
Not only the fact that to obtain a rare most of the time, you’ll leave the machine fed up , broke and no longer interested in the item – but the practice engenders greed in resellers too. A lot of people end up sinking 1000s of $L just to get multiple copies of unwanted commons, but then they have to shell out another few $1000Ls to a marketplace reseller to finally get a rare that would have been a quarter of the price as a non-Gacha.
It’s not just me either. I see plenty of people upset in in-world groups when they see an awesome item being sold as Gacha.
i can’t even read #14 it gave me a headache just looking at it
#9: Before you go badmouthing people, but a dictionary, you illiterate bitch.
Objection. Accusations of illiteracy are my gimmick.
Illiterate bitch? You should talk! Read before you press enter!
Ummm…but a dictionary?
Maybe you shouldn’t throw stones from that glass house.
But a dictionary….. *snorts* excellent come back. Thumbs up.
#12. Exactly!
#11 that little character is so cute where is that from? i wanna hug him
Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword!
14. Welcome to rl retail. This is common practice for real life retail stores.
