@11 this one confuses me you can’t take someone against their will in SL given you can close the window at any time you can log off, exit and leave the situation, rape in SL is either Roleplay that is consensual or… no sorry that is all it can be, anyone who claims they have been raped in SL against their will has been told this by police and even by linden labs “you had the option to close the program at any time failure to do so is classed as consent” and even RP sims have said the same if you don’t like something close second life or TP away and block the person and report them for harrasement, i mean do these same people who claim to have been raped against their will in SL also open SL against their will, do they turn on their computer against their will because if they say yes then they need to see a therapist.
Looking at his Flickr pictures you can clearly see that the skills of David are advertising and marketing but not mesh or photoshop. The picture of his shop (“baking for days!”) reveals a beginner level in 3D creation and even the shadows baked are showing that he cleary did NOT create any mesh ears or jewellery himself. Even he might have hired other people to create for him does not invalidate the fact that he already admitted using other designers base skins. The question here would be: Where did he get the skins? Was he so naive to think a high resolution skin texture is for free and without copyrights? (especially when you have a real life designer background) Other chat transcripts show him talking about “dirty work” and how hard it is to make textures. All these questions, facts and ongoing accusations of other designers lead me to the opinion that he is nothing else than a simple copybotter with great marketing and highly reworked vendor images. For some, however, this seems difficult to understand or realize. Second Life is a money machine for those who know how to use it but it is surely not (and should not be) a legal vacume

Let me correct your grammar. I believe that if you are going to state that a person has 0 education, you need to ensure that your own is indicative of something higher. Otherwise, you end up appearing to be a hypocritical reprobate.
“Well, what do you expect?”- Would be correct use of grammar in this case. As it is a question, rhetorical or not, you would end it with a question mark.
“Jamie has zero talent or education,” – You would not use 0 in this sentence – you would use the word equivalent; in theory you should use the word “no” however I am keeping the corrections to a minimum; and the use of “and”, really wouldn’t be appropriate. I won’t go into whether or not this sentence makes sense, because in a literal sense – it does not.
“so she has to rely on other people’s work.” – the word relay is incorrect, as is the word people. I have corrected these for you. You would put a period at the end of this, instead of your comma continuation.

To explain assault in SL.. (or any other form of internet usage) is a basic stalking situations.
Alts, public chat that others can read, notices, images, others being blackmailed into sending you notes or photos from the offender.
Physical rape, the bruises, and other physical injuries heal over time.. but, the mental scarring never goes away.
And in SL .. it’s exactly that.. a mental blemish that imprints on your psyche..
So, rape of the mind, is possible.. and there are no physical signs.. just your mind that has been hurt.
That is something people on the internet seem to forget..

First of all, on a Game , for any woman to even talk to a creepy guy is wrong or have on a friends list. There is no such thing as rape of the mind- its called making bad choices on who you are talking to online. Use the block feature or log out.
It’s possible if you allow it. There is an effective prevenative measure called the off button. There is also log out and the block option. You would be amazed how well all 3 methods work.

#3. I heard about this last week and crazy cray! With all the events now to choose from I hope stores make him pay in the end by refusing to have anything to do his events. I mean, da fuq is he thinking? This pretty much takes the pie as one of the slimiest things I have ever seen a business in SL do. Dunno if he is greedy or totes dumb.
#6 is making a point but maybe not the intended point. After all, if a new store with a new alt who is unknown to event coordinators is immediately picked up and invited to events, the event coordinators are being open to new, unknown stores. That is the opposite of being a closed clique.
That they would pick up #6’s alt while avoiding #6, even though the talent and creativity must be similar unless the alt’s work has a bit of “I’ll show them” extra effort, suggests they have had negative experiences with #6, experiences that damaged #6’s reputation. That may or may not have been #6’s fault, though I would put hanging onto resentments from two years ago rather than enjoying the success of the alt’s store suggests #6 might have a difficult personality that is kept under more rigid control as the alt.

Btw all my clothes fits perfectly with the new TD versions, you know , we all still use an “old” file because the body is compatible over the years, but you probabily have not learned how to rig yet. LoL
Lol… Lawd. Let’s clear up a couple things that aren’t even mentioned. Bad Seed went forward officially to make the body not as competition to TD but the fact that with the updates of bento to the new TD body, bit added in a blending neckline so it blends better for skins and mesh head, to system heads. In this it also shaped slightly different to Bad Seeds heads at the neckline and the heads could no longer fit. So instead of redoing and rescripting every last one of her heads on the whim of another designer could redue the mesh again and it messes up a second time of work. She created a body she didn’t have to worry about any neck changing lines that makes her mesh heads obsolete. Onto mesh dev files. I’m sorry but with the new bento files, that required a bento update with avastar. Which costs 3,500 for creators of bodies to go bento. The previous clothing is not obsolete to the new body fully. Maybe slightly off for what was created prior due to bento and rigging to a new skeleton but that would be the case for any new mesh body. As for dev kits, I have rigged personally to this. I updated my avastar. Imported the TD very old files to it. And in the avastar side there is a your rig is outdated. His update rig then with each body top and bottom separately u update the body weights to new rig with a simple click of the button and boom. U are now updated to the new bento TD body. Where did that come from? That secret is not about competitors nor the rig… it’s about the topology, if she is shrinking the body, the rig doesn’t matter in this case, the gaps will show. If the feet were bigger, and now they are much smaller, of course the shoes made for the old bigger feet will be too big now.
You can still make new clothes that fit, but clothes that were modelled for a “different” body won’t magically adapt to the new one.. you’d still need to tweak it around and model them smaller as well.

Actually, moron, we do need a new DEV kit… The old file does NOT work with the newest version of Avastar, which is the bento version… and what do you know, the newest TD body is ALSO bento! On top of that, the clothing ‘work’ but they’re not anywhere near properly fitted. They’re bagging in a lot of places and because of the different bodies, designers have to repeatedly adjust and re-upload meshes to be able to make them fit. We also don’t have the new alphas. Our old kit has the old shitty alpha cuts. So yet again, another issue.

You’re saying you’re not a toddleedoo fan but just a while ago you were raging about your awesome toddleedoo meshing skills over YEARS, how everything still “fit like charm” you and your daughter, you claim to be up to date with the releases and competition… erm. Sounds more like you’re a loyal user defending Toddleedoo because you’re scared of the new competition by calling other designers “crap” out of nowhere… But since you’re an awesome mesher, wouldn’t it be good for you having more options to build great, longlasting perfectly fitted content for? More SL money and business for you. The only competition here is between the two mesh body makers I guess.
And that’s exactly why we don’t need a new dev kit, because new updates have to be compatible with old clothes…
And as you said she proven to be able to collect customers report and fix issues on the new updates…

^^ your reply right there shows you have no idea about the mesh bodies themselves. The clothes “fit” because the designers put in EXTRA work than they should be for a mesh body that the dynamics are constantly changing on.
When you get the Dev kit for a mesh body, you should Norbert be needing to worry if the clothes you mesh for it will fit properly after the next update. The toddleedoo body has been jacked up and changed so much – and if you even try to deny it, you’re lying out your ass. For well over a month, people had to wear the 2.9 body because one of the 3.0 and above updates completely changed the size of the body itself. Finally, a few updates later, Bit changed the body back a bit to resemble the 2.9 version but it was after tons of people complained that their older toddleedoo clothes didn’t fit on the new update body.
When you release updates for a mesh body, the older items for that body should not become obsolete. Sorry to break that to you, but that’s bad business practices to sell a dev kit to designers that doesn’t even have the proper mesh body in it.
I’m going to have to stop you there. As someone who is an actual toddleedoo creator, and an adult clothing creator, let me explain to you why TD is fucked up. Originally we all paid 5k for the Dev kit only to realize the kid body in the kit was not the same as in world. Clothing fit but was baggy. It was frustrating to deal with and when we brought it to the attention of Bit, the owner and creator of the Toddleedoo body, we were essentially told to get over it. Now she updates the body and she’s been screwing around with the actual mesh, as well as rigging, and although not drastic, it leaves designers with a heap of extra work to attempt to match up outdated blender files to an inworld, forever changing, body. For the pennies we make off our releases, because kid world is LOADED with cheap people who assume that because they’re playing kids, they should pay less, this extra work is not worth it. As for claiming this secret was a publicity attempt, think again. The new body doesn’t need to advertise. It’s already heavily favored by the designers for it’s easy to use files, endless customization options and truly impressive attention to detail and user requests. No one needs to set it and try and bash Toddleedoo or praise Bad Seed. Bit is running her own business into the ground by giving some of the worst customer service on the grid, and forever trying to create a better body when her skills are pretty much topped out at rigging premeshed heads to bento bones.
