4# is stupid, the one with the bun in the back, check Truth, Besom, Glam Affair, EVERYONE does these styles now, its nothing new, its boring and unoriginal, anyways moving on.

and SL relationships are still cancerous, nobody cares about some idiot online hooking up with another SL tramp.

And #2 How stupid is it for an SL couple to share a picture on Flickr ? It only shows they are more interested in pixel praise, then a loving? Relationship. But I agree, boring

#4 Reminded me that his newest skin called Adachi, is veryyyy similar to Insol’s skin called Nicole. Lips and nose are nearly identical. Botted again. Dude will never change his ways.

Not sure i understand #10 at all, i don’t see what is wrong with doing morphs and that’s kind of common sense seeing as a Morph means that you are placing your avatars face onto a real life image and trying to make it look realistic, so i don’t see what you are getting at with that, just sounds like you were trying to find a reason to bitch and it didn’t work out very well for you. Lol

Speaking generally, here, since I don’t know who #10 is referring to… If the person creating the morph does not own all of the images they are using, they are stealing them, unless they are licensed for derivative work. But even with derivative work, generally they are not allowed to sell the resulting image, so they can’t charge for the image.

Since secret mentions Flickr, I assume it means they post on there – afraid that it is one of the portals where even if you use images with single artist with online portfolio … it depends. Sure, you can’t sell them anywhere if you are not the sole creator it is a roulette when you modify something. (as in: you paint a recreation of mona lisa and name it art – yep, in some cases there is no time frames of when the original came to be).

First, it depends where fhe base was uploaded (flickr, deviantart, tumblr, photobucket) and with what permissions, then who and when uploaded it, then if you asked for edit rights from creator (in some places – if they do not respond within a time frame, it is considered agreement) and so on.

Then there is a case of Linden Lab avatar depictions belonging to them … in USA, hence if you belong under their offices – all your uploaded files also do. Not sure if I am right but this means that anything you make needs to be within their rules and you still cannot put 100% claim on it as it is if you were a project undertaker?

Then again – EU and US offices vary and best example would be with LLs own ToS on shop names – EU can make mocking names, similar ones and same with products based on something but USA cannot (so you cannot name a shop Kentucky Pride Chicken (since it is most butchered name in London, I use it as a sample).

#08 – this dude probably meant to find a skin that has both tmp and adam appliers so you can match the head to body or other way around. Unfortunately, some skins have none and that means you need to make your own appliers to demo them before buying a skin. Only one time, I had a skin that I could not buy due to it being randomly discontinued after I demoed. Did not fancy that so changed that later on.

Plus no creator is going to make appliers for everything nor the time to do so. Making your own appliers when you own the skin is standard, copybotting would be claiming you made the skin, using the demo as full version while editing text out or selling it as you. Also tmp skins usually did not have other head appliers while their head skins had no body appliers and so on.

#11. Omg! No way! People would surely never, ever do that!? Who would comitt such atrocities!? (PS. People watch porn, people wank, we know. Not an excuse to check someone’s browser history unless they allow you to for porn site recs or what ever else).

On #8 you sure that it wasn’t copybotting? I saw “ilegal” way in it and that gave me some red flags just reading the secret.

Lourdes is right. Someone submits stuff, it’s posted. The end. There’s no way Lourdes and I have any access to your personal logs/conversations.

Clean your own house, please.

Looked back and hm … no idea … so assumed a lot in my post as I often make appliers (usually it means buying any appliers shop makes and using uuids to make those you want). The only ‘illegal way’ I can think of would be downloading skins from internet but that is not required for appliers – you just need a kit for your body pr head and uuids – that is it. Maybe some part without its own kit or Omega would take shady stuff but still – would assume people buy skins (as it is how people I know do stuff). The vague grey area can only happen with pre-mesh body elements which is just system skins or eyes or whichever part you might need – some skins, eyes, makeup you had and want to apply to mesh parts might be gone from the grid. On one hand – textures still exist and even if shop is gone, they still are on LL servers but … who do you pay then? Or do those files become full perm? No idea here. To end – not the best person as I do use other SL clients to copy skin uuids for demos if they are not available from shop but hell if I do not buy a skin I like – artist fees for digital and manual projects are fucked up enough (undervalued that is – not in SL but in general). Still person in secret might have meant buying skin for Adam and considered making appliers for TMP for personal use illegal. Not sure how they apply them to TMP as that might have been some not LL endorsed method. Or might indeed encouraged using full skin versions ripped of someone indefinitely and not as a demo… Read more »

I asked my friend to try a demo because you need to match the body with the head (before buying the actual skin). Not to mention you can just search textures saved in your cache, and use it however you want.

About the copybott part, i didn’t ask him to copybott, nor copybott myself. I’ve shown Laura the whole chat history from that moment and all she said was

—–> “[01:43] Lourdes (lourdes.denimore): (Saved Mon Apr 10 03:14:01 2017)look I don’t know who submitted it. But defiantly someome in your social circle submitted it to the site . If it makes you feel better to blame me, sure. But I don’t know who you are not do I give a damn what you something the skins.”

Basically she just post this kind of crap trying to cause drama. As far as i know, you can’t mod TMP body/hands/feet skins, and using a head skin with a big ass “demo” all over it doesnt look like a smart idea.

If anyone has questions about that feel free to write me inworld, i can show my side of the story, and not 10 lines from a local chat (wich seems easy to misunderstand.)

Obviously you don’t know how the site works and you are making a fool of yourself here.
1) people submit the “secrets” anonymously every week
2) I post what ever was uploaded.

I don’t know who you are. I don’t know anything about you explaining how to make appliers or whatever you are talking about. I was no present for the conversation.
What is true, like I said to you in world. Is that someone who was present for the conversation (which I hope wasn’t in local chat) they copy and pasted it and submitted to the site.
Am I stirring shit by posting it? Sure that is what this site is all about. Do I know you personally? No
I told you the same thing me and Kess tell everyone else when they get their panties in a twist when a personal conversation ends up here. Someone in your social circle submitted it.
And as usually instead of cleaning out your house you blame us. So fine. Blame us, you still have a snake in your social circle.

I’ve contacted the owner of the site showing her the whole chat and seems like she just copy/paste to make shitposts like this. like sig said, i was offering my help to a friend to make an applier, not to copybott (something i’ve alerady paid 1k for)

[2017/04/02 14:49] Juanse Zero: so i can make an applier
[2017/04/02 14:50] Juanse Zero: bruh you know everybody copies shit

Also, my friend paid for the skin (Like i did with mine)

#3 is bullshit, Taylor is amazing and so was Kaz. She has a big heart and has helped me with some big smelly fish. She didn’t care if he was friends with girls. Plus I’ve been to most the events lately with her as well. I see no truth behind this post, some petty person hiding behind a screen just making stuff up. Love ya tay!

Thank you very much. I appreciate that. Everything in this post is misinformation. I did not copy-bot anyone. To my knowledge I’ve never even been in the same sim as Loony. I used some items that Loony has posted as Credits in his photo, that’s all. I went out and purchased those items myself because I believe in supporting SL Creators so that they can continue doing what they do best, which is creating beautiful works of art for SL users to enjoy. If there is any doubt whatsoever that I purchased these items, I will gladly take a gyazo of my linden transaction history as proof that the items were purchased. Thanks you.

#14 –

I’m Lol-ing because this must be an idiot. When you attach a child mesh prim to a parent prim that is mod to your name it makes it you are the creator like any full perm mesh is that some designers ask you to do this so they aren’t contacted if something is wrong with the texturing on it so they do not look like owner. Such dummies.

It seems YOU are the idiot because it’s only the floor selected and not the whole building.
And darling, no one names the root prim the same like the one from LISP.

If the place is owned by the uploader and show same username – they probably reuploaded it.

But … owner and creator names can easily be changed when editing the *.dae file in text editor. Yeah, people will usually not bother as I do not when needing to cut a thing to fit or whatnot but usually it is just that – nothing nefarious but small mods on stuff people own. Seems this one has both original and modified files … naming the shop … in same sort of interior according to pictures so all is well …

^ Also, when you inspect the item, as someone posted, it would show all proms on the item – including a root prim. That inspection shows it’s only her one prim (which she could have resized to change the LI because making mesh items bigger will increase the LI).

The creation date listed on the floor is January of this year.

First, you don’t know what you’re talking about as a whole. When you select a mesh that is linked, if you edit linked parts, any child mesh that was linked will be colored with a blue outline, signifying that it is a child prim. The root prim will be highlighted in yellow. In the picture, the highlight is yellow meaning the root prim is indeed being shown. This is a fact even without edit linked parts turned on. The root prim information is all you will see if you don’t edit linked parts. It showing Toxxic’s name shows that she personally uploaded THIS specific mesh that is highlighted in yellow.
Second, the LI makes no difference. If you upload a mesh, you have several LOD options, and whatever you set on those will affect the LI in world, as will the size of the mesh in world. Toxxic could have the mesh smaller than Holli did, making it less LI. She could have also uploaded it with a different set of LOD numbers than the original creator, which also would make it have a different LI count.
Please do a little research before you comment. You only make yourself look stupid. If you don’t believe me on my first paragraph, do a little test for yourself. Take an item you purchased and make a box prim. Click the box first, then the other creator’s item and link them. Select the item and check the creator. It’ll be the original creator and highlighted in yellow with your box as blue. Edit linked parts. Select your box. It’ll still be blue. Select the other item you linked to. It’ll still be yellow. You’re welcome.

I’m not saying it’s botted, I’m not saying it isn’t. But we see a fraction of a picture, so we have no idea what’s selected and what isn’t, especially when you look at the LI: in pic 1, it’s 5 LI, in pic 2 it’s 6. If it’s the same object, why the difference? Is it resized, is it not?
And just because YOU don’t name the root prim the same doesn’t mean others don’t. I don’t know either of these two people, so I’m just pointing out that your arguments are flawed and screaming ‘copybot’ on such flimsy evidence is unethical.

Also, the next owner permissions on the original lisp floor don’t allow transferring. The one in the right picture show full permissions…which leads to the high possibility that the item is copybotted.

I do. I don’t sell anything but when i’m building I do name the prim whatever it was (copy paste) so if i need another piece or come back to it later, I know the name of it and I can find it. Since I only build for myself, there isn’t just a plain prim (Or invisible ) for the root. Usually its just the last piece I click before I join it all together. Unless its a pose stand or something where the root prim matters. Like I said though, I only build for me. There may be a “right” way to do it but that is my way.

The Toxxic Rhiannyr one is absolute proof that she re-upload ed the mesh after ripping it. Anyone who uploads mesh would know that the uploader renames it with those underscores not to mention she is shown as creator.
If it wasn’t for templates and stolen mesh, this girl wouldn’t be able to do anything. She needs to disappear for good.

#9. If you are not responsible to have a pet do not get one. All pets require love, commitment and financial backing , as health problems can come up . You should know this before taking on one, and then wanting other people to pay for surgeries or what not because you are financially stable. If the SL hair business is not making you enough money, it’s time to get a job and take care of your pet the way every other responsible adult does.

Maybe i’m thinking of a diff situation but as I recall this pet was taken on after their human companion passed away, who happened to be a very close relative. Then the cat got sick. It was a stressful time.
Maybe I am a sucker, but I sure as hell feel more compelled to donate to a sick animal than I do for new computers.
