I think it’s petty to pick on someone’s avatar. I see plenty of avatars that I think are not pretty, like the body builder woman or the guy with his “bulge” so big no real life woman would let him near her without some damn special love going on. But most people are not building an avatar for the viewer, they are building the avatar for themselves. And therefore, they should be able to express themselves however without having some petty ass person calling them out. And likening them to ogres etc.
As for the rest of this, it is a sad but true fact. There are some people who believe they can say and should be able to say whatever the hell they want simply because they don’t have to face the person they are saying it to. There’s nothing sacred to such people and expecting them to behave by any common ideal of courtesy is simply a pipe dream. Don’t give them more ammunition. He or she is not willing in changing their mind or in discussing things, they are merely trying to win “points.”
Furthermore, anyone trying so hard to win points in an internet discussion is by definition a sad little person and should be avoided.
I don’t understand all the pearl clutching over the fact that someone’s infertility was used as an insult. You all come here every week, and you still don’t get it. NOTHING is sacred. NOTHING is off limits. If you don’t want it to be used as a weapon against you, then keep it to yourself. Stop sharing your personal business with strangers on the internet.
As far as whatevs and his/her blatant disrespect of a vet. You have to understand he/she is not American. They are a from a country whose military is largely symbolic. Thanks Lourdes, and I do try to understand non-American viewpoints, it’s important to me to (ignoring the crazy stuff that happens here) to have that insight.
I actually served alongside some fine soldiers from New Zealand Defense Force (from Whateves country) and I know they are helping in building training and support in Iraq for the soldiers who are battling ISIS/ISIL. All large SL families are full of this sort of drama because when you get that many people together, one of them is going to be an ass. It’s guaranteed. I always tell new kid avatars to look for small families and avoid the ‘famous’ ones for that reason.

#9 … I dated the “king” of this group many moons ago, he is the most vile person I have ever met. He goes through 9-10 women per year, most of them being his CHILDREN or SIBLINGS. He is disgusting. Just because they mostly all do it, don’t make it the right thing to do.
there are a few tattoo places in SL who draw their own stuff, i’d say it was Saleable Flash art too but why they do it in sl is up to them. at least some DO Draw it themselves instead of stealing someone else’s Talent and it pisses me off to see it.
