You know I’ve never commented on this website because I never felt I had to until today.
This has nothing to do with the secret above but more the people continuing the drama below.
Saphy, Kaecee, Quinn family I’m even gonna throw Carissa (Whatever the hell your name is I could care less) You’re all terrible people and I hate each and every one of you.
Why you ask? Because you took the one person I loved so much and turned them against me when I needed them the most. Each one of you has said nasty things behind my back and turned him against me since the day I met you.
I’ve seen it I’ve felt it myself and I’ve heard it through many people since.
You’re Clicky and stuck up and if anyone doesn’t meet your standards you’ll never give them the time of day and that hurt.
I’ve reached out to some of you before to try and be your friend after we ended and you didn’t even give me a chance or a reply.
I’m not an awful person he knows that I know that and so do anyone that’s ever actually got to know me.
You don’t know me and you never gave me a chance.
This is as much his fault as it is yours but it doesn’t pain me anyless.
This isn’t to cause drama this is me finally saying how much you all hurt me and letting it go forever.
I’ve held on to this feeling for years now and I’m finally getting my chance.

#1 just looks like a copy-cat, not a case of copy bot. Concepts and colors are copied but shapes, proportions, lines etc are different enough.
They still should be more original though. Hopping around to mimic this or that other designer just makes them look like they are insecure and don’t have enough good ideas of their own to develop a strong style.
Designers hopping about having a tantrum and worrying about people copying them, are the ones that look insecure because they can’t handle a bit of competition. There are no original ideas anymore inspiration is taken from everywhere. I say bring it on, I like the options, I like that there are variations on certain things that I want to buy.
Oh yeah and apparently fat shaming is fine too but only when it’s aimed at me. Have you forgotten my illness and hospital admission. Franky Im the opposite of fat. as usual, whatevs, you’re both mostly right and completely wrong. the us copyright law applies to any design made by any designer automatically upon creation and extends seventy years past the lifespan of that designer. however, those copyright laws only allow certain amounts of protection because there are only certain parts of a piece of furniture that you can possibly claim ownership of. also, you absolutely can legally protect your furniture design, if it is original (there are original ideas, don’t dismiss what you can’t immediately identify), through a number of methods which include trademarks, trade dress, design and/or utility patents and, indeed, copyrights. admittedly it takes a far deeper understanding of all five of these options than mine to tell you which would apply to what design and whether they would be granted or refused based on previous or unclaimed ownership. but here’s a loose example — you build a continuous arm chair. that design is a trademark of a company called thos moser. if you made it for yourself, you would probably never hear from anyone. but if they found out you were selling it, they could and more than likely would send you a cease and desist letter over it. if they learned you continued to sell it, they could press charges and you could face some serious legal consequences. however, not everything thos moser makes is subject to copyright. their occasional tables, their dining tables, even other chair designs are classic ones established deep in history’s roots and are not owned by anybody at all. in fact the only part of the continuous arm chair design that is trademarked is the continuous arm. i don’t know whether there is a current legal precedent set on the level of trespass committed by the digital designer copying a… Read more »

Yes Blaise that is exactly what I am saying. It happens all the time, how many Hermes chair replicas have you seen in the shops. It isn’t illegal, and furthermore a lot of people take inspiration from similar sources it isn’t always copying. Sometimes it is copying, so what, if it’s changed up and given a slightly new twist I have no issue with it. It’s not stealing. There is far too much made of this in Second Life. Designers don’t have exclusive rights over certain objects, no more than designers in real life have exclusive rights over a chair. End of
So, a person shouldn’t be upset or angry when someone else steals their work? It’s not insecurity at play when one designer openly copies another. For some people, SL is a significant portion of their RL income. And the time expended to make SL goods could be a second job – at least! Why shouldn’t they be mad if their work is ripped by someone who wants to make the scene but doesn’t want to put time into making quality products on his own.
I’m not on either side of the case against L’etre specifically. I’d like to see some UV maps and close comparisons somewhere other than here. But just at a glance, it doesn’t look good. I’d steer away, just on basic principle – personally.

This girl has caused problems for me and numerous amounts of my friends because she couldn’t get her own way. She is vile. One of my friends wouldn’t adopt her a while back and so you know what she told them to do? Kill themselves. Because that’s completely ‘kind’ isn’t it?
