#1 is Elayjah D’Mond of the store Nakaedo.
6. I actually no nothing of this designer or the person who posted this *crosses heart* but reading this makes me feel perhaps you are a bit angry over this person legitimately banning you from her store.
You are asking us to believe a scenario, in which a creator, who is trying to make profit off of a game, would ban anyone who posts a picture on flickr (anywhere really) who doesn’t credit them in their picture. Financially, does that make sense?! Do you think people who read that are stupid?
I think it’s time to come to terms about who you are as person and why you got banned from this store, I guarantee you it was not because you “didn’t credit” the creator in a picture when ALL creators are just happy to even see pictures of their work because that means some one is buying their shit… Just saying.
I legitimately had a creator contact me, because I had used her table, in an ad campaign. I was selling dinnerware and I staged it on her table. She contacted me advising me I did not have her permission or a licence to use her product for commercial use. At this time, I was new to SL, I now realize she was a bully and there was nothing she could have done about it. But she felt threatened by me, I understand people act irrationally when they are insecure and afraid of losing some income to someone better. So you know I forgive and move on <3
Oh sad for you robby you couldn’t possibly accept that people think you’re wrong lol you know what assumptions do Robbie they make an ass out of you
Linking to your work so it is yours thank you for again confirming (and clearly caring that you established you made what 3 mesh houses before flaming out).
Oh one more thing. It is rather sad to use proxies to like all your own comments and dislike others. Shows again how much you care.
Peace out. (And let’s face you will have to reply again because you care and can’t control yourself).
Hmmmm nah sorry kunta you’re the liar https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Designer-Prims-With-Aroha-Mesh-Love-Boxed/3915836. Looks like mesh to me. 2 lies from YOU durr.
I can always tell when you get caught lying as you get all defensive and out comes the fangs and name calling.
And never said I did, keep up and get your own story straight Kunta
Nope never made houses dickwad
Your avatar never sold dinnerware you had those primmy houses designer prims and quit when you could not keep up with mesh.
It is bizarre how you can’t keep your stories straight week after week.

Nothing but a popularity contest in a virtual world !! sad really. People begging in world for nominations and now votes, the worst is Muddys Music Café , The hosts and Dj’s beg for votes and the categories they are nominated for are all over the walls ! the so called “artists” yeah go look up some of the names on Flickr and you will see why they were REALLY nominated, friends, and once again the real deserving “artists” go unmentioned . Just like everything else in SL its who you know..and who you blow. lol A friend of mine even got her alts to nominate her and yep…she got in ! LOL.
15# Really? Is enough only 3 nominates to be in that list? Omg then anyone with 3 alts can be there! Now is how explained why so many shitty stores are in this list! And i was wondering why…
#11
To the wonderful person that posted that:…Please dearie, take your meds and shut the fuck up everyone is sick of rants and behaviors. Go get some help..
Is this the Rayna, as in Rayna Summerwind?
#11 really makes me angry. I have had the chance to get to know this girl. She’s been nothing but honest and loving to me and those around me. She’s NEVER once asked me for lindens, she’s never ONCE asked me to buy her things. I think it’s really cruel to go after someone like this. If you have a problem with her, maybe you should talk to her instead of airing it here.
Rayna if you read this.. Love you girl… Ignore the nasayers. People grow and change.. so just be you.
Props goes out to the secret maker of #11 she must of screwed someone else over recently which is funny as shit because she is a user and fake to boot.
#8 Lies and slander. I am chief ranger for Prim River and it is a wonderful example of a family place. Danielle pours her heart and soul into everything there and families allow their children to explore, knowing they will be safe and that Dani and I will make sure of it. Come see for yourself and talk to the campers as you explore, the proof is in seeing, not reading something that someone obviously bitter (though I couldn’t even guess why) has written.
#15 It’s funny how you criticise them for being happy (true that it is a stupid thing) for being nominated to that shit, but here you are worried about it and making posts on a secrets web about a virtual game LOL, so I don’t know why you are complainig about it <.<
This. And the other side of the coin is “If it ‘only’ takes 3 nominations to get on list, how sad some brands don’t have 3 people to nominate them.” No one in it is under the false impression that the nominations are based on objective criteria. However, those nominated are smart to utilize it as another marketing tool. All in all, it’s been a fun annual event that shows some appreciation for a large number of creators.
@6 — She is smart. It’s her business. She’s one of the nicest people I have met, that is a designer. She wants to be recognized like anyone else. You don’t want to give credit where credit is due, she has every right to ban you. She’s not missing your money. You’re insulting her talent as a whole by not just CREDITING WHERE YOU GOT THE ITEM. Why wear it at all in the blog if you’re not going to credit it? Would it have killed you just to add another line item and credit where you got the item? No, it wouldn’t. Plus, you’re a blogger for Christ sake. Isn’t that kind of what you signed up for???? Or did I miss something?
This leads me into another issue —
People who buy things from designers and refuse to share where they got it.
I’m all for individuality and the idea of being your own person, but unless you made that item yourself, all you’re doing is blocking sales to that designer in the name of “individuality”. Learn to mesh or buy custom items, then you have earned the right to be “individual”. Otherwise you’re just being a prick.
RE: #6
I think you’re missing something. Nowhere on that picture does the person say that their photo was part of a blog. Now, that being said, blog photo or not…everyone has the right to take pictures and credit/not credit a designer. It could be something as simple as posting quickly and forgetting to add the credit (if the photo being referred to was a blog post photo). It could have been a random photo that someone just posted to their flickr (or on to facebook).
Now, I could understand if the photo was in a blog and the item given was free to the blogger and given as part of a sponsored requirement, but the photo doesn’t state that it was. So to assume that is kind of silly.
As far as individuality, we all take pictures in Second Life. It’s the land of groupsies, selfies and us-ies. But there is no rule that says, “I must share what I buy with anyone who asks.” Yes it can be frustrating, especially when it’s something the asker wants. But it’s the person’s right to withhold the information…regardless of reason.
I don’t think it’s the person’s intent to block sales to the places they shop. It could be something as simple as they really want to keep their style…to themselves.
People don’t only blog fashion, bitch. I blog stuff all the time and I don’t feel the need to credit because I am not advertising shit, I just blog because I like to visit places and work photos. Credit is only required when you’re being ‘paid’ with lindens or goods, or when you are committed to do so for that store. Get real. Second life is not mandatory in any way. Everything here is optional. Even turn off the computer.
Clearly this was directed at SL’s fashion bloggers, as I even typed out “As a fashion blogger, people view you to get ideas on their looks and to find the items you put in your images.”. Calling me a bitch simply because you didn’t like what I typed is well… bitchy. Good day to you.
Then this isn’t directed at you, bitch.
As an ex-SL blogger, I realize how time consuming a post can be. Setting up your scene, making every detail of your outfit just right, taking many pictures until you get that perfect one, editing the image, labeling the items and linking the shops (finding the shops is a chore in itself half the time), etc. But when you half-ass it, people notice. Our hobbies are suppose to be enjoyable, of course. Personally, I like the final product when I know I did the best I could. As a fashion blogger, people view you to get ideas on their looks and to find the items you put in your images. I know sometimes you want to keep parts of an amazing look all to yourself, but that sort of defeats the idea of the fashion blogger, doesn’t it? As a mildly okay mesh creator for SL, I get so excited when I see someone blog my items. It feels good to know someone appreciates my work enough to spread the word. When I see an SL fashion blogger use my item, but not credit me at all or post any info about the item… well, it sucks. It feels like that person doesn’t think your stuff is good enough to give mention. It’s insulting and a bit of a bummer. If you like it enough to include it in your image, give us a little shout out please. We work hard and we are trying to get noticed. As a consumer of SL products, it urks the crap out of me. So often I see something I really like in a fashion bloggers post but cannot find any info about that item anywhere. It’s super annoying. If I’m checking out your blog or flickr, it’s because I’m a fan of… Read more »
As a relatively new fashion blogger, I can only say this: I am only obligated to the designers for whom I blog to list their items in my blog posts and my flickr pages. When I am doing a blog post for a designer or group of designers, I do not mention other items or accessories I may be wearing. Why? Because that post is all about the designers who gave me their creations to blog for them. If I go out and buy something, I am not obligated to give that creator credit (aka free advertising) if I happen to wear it or it is seen in a blog photo. That said, if a blog post is something I’m doing for myself and just for fun, then sure I’m going to list a full style card, more than likely, and if someone really wants to know where I got something I’m wearing in a photo, all they have to do is ask – politely. However, if someone came to me and tried chewing me out for not crediting them in my blog post when it was something I paid for, they would most likely be told where to step off. Rather than complaining that their item wasn’t named, they should be glad someone actually went to their store and bought it. As a creator myself, I’m always happy to see my work on someone’s page, whether I get named on it or not, because it means someone liked what I do well enough to not only want it, but also to pay me for it. I don’t hire bloggers, so unless they’re posting a photo in my store group, no one is under any obligation to name me on anything. It’s nice when it happens, but I don’t expect… Read more »
Many bloggers even credit their outfit or decor but not their skin and hair. It’s common.
Second Life players who pay for things and don’t get freebies as bloggers play Second Life only for fun. Every time someone takes a picture on Instagram or posts on Facebook they do not tag what brand of clothing their wearing and the name of their hair stylist.
It’s the same thing for Second Life.
You work to create it and you work to market it. Compensate bloggers to credit you but don’t expect customers to tag you.
hmmm #5 , actually when donating to charity ( like this was ) what the money went to IS important. So when red cross collects to war torn areas etc , be sure that there is people out there checking where the money went. People went to the event knowing that their money was suppose to go to a sick person.Though this was never documented. Then after the event there should have been evidence as to what the money was spend on. You can not just set up a charity event and call it ” i need my tattoo removed please donate” and then go spend the money on fine wine .Receipts are needed no matter what the cause is.
#9.. I appreciate you thinking about me! I’m not sure what turbosquid is.. but by all means, you can find the EXACT mesh and unwrapping on there.. please enlighten me! – Mel
Seems like someone might a little jealous of you. Maybe someone not quite as talented. The salt is real.
#7 Thank you for thinking about me!!! ♥
Hard not to think of you when there you are jumping and waving, screaming for attention. You’re nothing but a nasty, baby killing trashbag.
You shouldn’t run your mouth on shit you know nothing about, Maybe just fucking maybe there was a medical reasoning as to why things happened. Never believe the shit you hear unless it’s coming straight from the mouth of the person who fucking experienced it you dumb twatwaffle bitch. I hope you never have have children and if you don’t, please get yourself fixed and if you do, please give them over to foster care because you’re clearly unfit. You’re arrogant and probably some jealous bully who feeds off trolling. You know nothing, and are nothing so clearly go fuck yourself.
see, i knew you would tell on yourself 😉
Is there a chance number 9 meant that was her first item created without a tutorial? Not her first item ever created? I don’t even know her, but it read like a comma would have changed the entire meaning of her post.
You would be correct; it was my first item created without a tutorial not my first item ever created. I actually posted a few of the gyazo’s in previous days of things I created with a tutorial. However, people are silly and have nothing else better to do in this game. – Mel.
@Whomever created number 15 – you’re an asshole. Who cares if it only takes 3 people to nominate someone – it’s the fact that someone out there thought the nominee deserved to be called one of the best should allow someone to be proud!
Stop raining on people’s happiness and find some of your own.
Hey I think I know that guy! LOL
People like number 16 make my eyes bleed! Yeah I met a guy like that once and dumped him within 2 weeks! The other chick stayed with him for god knows how long and he did it over and over and over to her.
It’s a case of ‘been there, done that’. The fact is that gut instincts play a major role in a virtual existence. You notice even the smallest of changes in their usual character if you’ve been with someone for a long period of time. Don’t be the fallback, if it isn’t going how you want …move on!
Totally! Listen to your gut is what I say – regardless of their attempts to convince you that you are the crazy one.
Can I just say that I was in the chat number 6 is talking about , while the creator did use some of those words it has been cherry picked so it looks worse than what it is.
She wasn’t butthurt about it. Rather she was wondering why a blogger keeps wearing her things in pictures but never lists the item. It was others who turned that chat into bullshit, they said to ban the person and they got nasty about bloggers who don’t blog their way. It was not the creator. No I am not ‘friends’ with this girl nor am I on her bloggers list or trying to get on it. Just see enough shit in SL without people making more up
There was a prefab designer who insisted in her end user licence that you were not allowed to have any of her products in your commercial photos however, I don’t actually think you can police that because it’s not against any rules. So as annoying as it is for you I don’t think you can do much about it. Except ban her which you have. I mean you could actually approach her and just say hey.
I can remember when builders put a clause in their EULA that you couldn’t rez more than one structure per sim. It was longer ago than I care to admit, but I can remember it.
Oh do shut up sunshower, there isn’t any drama here. “Tanty ” oh please sugarplum……you’re such a sucker. I get a arise out of one of you dipshits every week without fail LMAO. Go eat some more bonbons and play in your virtual houses.
ok so two lies this week our resident whack job. Not up to your usual thirsty skanky ass self?
Go on blow another tantrum we love it when you go full on crazy old lady.
No no it’s true. Probably the same idiots who thought they could stipulate you were only allowed to rez one of their buildings person lol
Lol no there wasn’t. Whateves is back everybody. Fire up the weekly lie count….. I am going to say she does at least 5 this week…
As a long time group member, regular camper and event participant at Prim River, I can truly say me and my family love love love spending time on that sim. Danielle is a very kind person – always friendly and professional. I’m not going to overly acknowledge #8’s author — other than to say if you have to be concerned about people stealing your BF then you have your own set of issues.
Prim River is a fun, family-friendly place to be. My entire family will always consider Prim River our camping and event destination of choice.
My family and I stayed at Prim River for a good while, we loved it there. I think someone is just being insecure about the BF thing.
#9 Couldn’t be farther from the truth. Everything about Prim River is family friendly and child safe. Danielle isn’t what you described. You must be confusing her with a former staff member.
#8 – Those are ridiculous lies.
#5 & #14…. those receipts seem to be in the same place as Hillary’s emails. God Speed.
#14 Is obviously about the Book of Daniel cash.
Yes Keon and Neva we’re all still waiting to see receipts for where all the Lindens went?!
Hey bitches, in France the medic care for this kind of cases is FREE. Don’t believe me? Google it. They didn’t need the cash. If the man died, good riddance, for trying to make sure the wife got you all pretty good. They live not too far from me. Now you know where to find me, come over for a coffee.
RE: “If the man died, good riddance,”
What a disgusting piece of shit you are.
Shame we won’t be there when Karma comes knocking on your door.
Wow, saying good riddance to a dead man–your lack of respect for the dead over a fucking ONLINE GAME? Utter disgust.
As Blaise said, a major illness, even in countries where medical is free can cause a family to be bankrupt. I wouldn’t have known this if I hadn’t watched enough Dragon’s Den and saw entrepreneurs there mention how they got cancer/needed major life threatening surgery and discuss how they were bankrupt afterwards. Being sick costs money. If it’s the main provider of income for the family – that income isn’t coming in anymore. Car rides, food, some people have to travel to get treatment out of town, so then there’s room/board for family staying to help care. You cannot leave someone ill in the hands of any doctor – you must have an advocate there to ensure their care is adequate and nothing is overlooked. It’s not only fiscally taxing but mentally taxing on a family. As a family who has had someone have cancer, it nearly tore us apart (decisions on what to do about treatment, discussion about next steps). Luckily, my parents instilled a strong sense of FAMILY in us so our disagreements never got too far (that and my father was still able to slap the shit out of us, even if we are in our 30s/40s, for not acting like we should have). Anyway, if the money went to the spouse/partner proper, then there’s no need for anymore ‘proof’ of anything. The spouse/partner has the right and discretion to use the funds as fit to provide for their remaining family. If that be food, mortgage, car payments… whatever. I think it’s been said before if you ask privately you will get the info you seek. Maybe in the future they will post it publicly (removing RL names of course). When I ran SCD I’ve asked people in the past for receipts and received them no issues,… Read more »
You’ve clearly never been close to someone with a serious medical issue. It’s not just the treatment – it’s transportation to and from the hospital, rent if you can’t work because of your illness or your partner can’t work because they’re tending to you, incidentals for your comfort that aren’t strictly ‘medical’ and aren’t covered, caregivers for when your partner needs a rest, and a thousand other things. It’s not all just fun spendy money, even if the actual medical treatment is covered.
Now, go eat dicks.
Who ever posted #5 is the crap of humanity.
First, since when being gypsy or a migrant is considered as an insult ?
you are comfy at your computer while some ppl on this earth are dealing with horrible life without having asked anything. it’s easy, but you know, it can happen to our countries too… it’s always easy to judge poor ppl when u are in a warm home, with electricity and water and all the comfort u need.
Second. Who are you for thinking you are entitled to ask for receipts ?
A customer ? you got the item you bought for. you are not entitled of more, u got what u paid more. move on.
A designer who was in the event ? well i doubt it, bec we all agreed without being forced and till today still, im one of those and really proud to have participate, i dont need any reciept,
you are not a customer nor a designer of the event ? what on hearth make u think the event owe u receipts ? seriously ? move on.
And your pic have just the smell of some populist posters of our darkest past…. i would be shameful if i was you.
Well, i appreciate the way you ask it, bec really that’s not the way i saw these latest days over the web. Ppl came super agressive on that. unfortunately i cant give you reciept or anything else bec i m only one of the designers of the event so i dont know. I dont mind having none. i did it with my heart. when i do things with my heart i expect nothing in return. i choose the causes i support. sometimes i can be wrong, but most of the time i do the right choices. Id say this event is not a normal charity event. Its an event created by a bunch of friends desperated to see their friend leaving this world. I dont think they have experience with how a charity event has to be handled. But if i may, id say i even prefer this way, bec we all know that in the most establisehd charity events you can see things that shouldnt happens. So well, it was an event all done from hearts. Sad hearts trying to do the impossible for fighting death. And well the battle has been lost… So well… i think its not hard to understand that in such difficult and painful moment, even if the rule is to give reciepts, the organizators have something else to think and care than giving a reciept to ppl who (for most of them do not ask for anything). I havent heard a single designer asking for any receipt. Designers are those who gave their work and time for the money can come. You did support the cause, and i thank you for that, but maybe you would have bought the item anyway. There was no extra prices to pay, just the regular price and for… Read more »

If you run a charity/event where people are supporting you and the cause, expect to be asked questions and provide receipts. This is the norm for charity organisations. We’re not expecting anything more or less, than we would from any other charity/event, we have supported.
As a supporter(consumer) of this event, I’d like to know how the lindens were used.
When you have time to put something out, then please do so.
Our condolences to his friends and family.
A man died and you’re harassing his nearest and dearest over lindens? For real?
You went to the event. You got your item. What else do you think you deserve?
I agree with Kesseret.
I think the issue here it was not a charity, but a direct donation. Before the event the RL names were not disclosed that I am aware of I could be wrong. So perhaps people who purchased items didn’t know really where it was going. But that should have been questioned before buying an item. And even then, it’s the creators who donated the sales, the consumers got products for their donation (if that makes sense).
SL can be like this. I sometimes give money blindly on faith, but if I really want proof I will ask for a RL page and information before even thinking about giving money. I have very little money myself so I am very careful if I donate, especially to a non disclosed person.
You are wrong, They stated that anyone who wants to see receipts, to send them a private message in order to give them all the info only in private, because they do not want to share real infos in public.
I think it’s only natural for people who participated to see that the money went to the people it was supposed to. What most don’t get is beyond that it doesn’t matter how it’s used….it was probably used to take care of bills or whatever. It’s no one’s business beyond it went to the right place. It is something I can agree with in letting people have some time to grieve and get their bearings after losing a friend.
