I don’t seem to grasp the concept of a “secret” I guess…
How is n°4 a secret when it’s signed? And if it’s directed to your “dad” I don’t see why it’s in this website, your IMs don’t work or…?

#10 – LOL I was wondering when this chick was going to end up on here. It was only a matter of time. Congrats Lizzy. Well deserved. No really, WELL deserved. Whoever submitted this: she did you a HUGE favor (trust me). She seeks out drama and if she can’t find it she starts it. Something is seriously wrong with that woman.

I have been waiting for this to post for days and must I say it was well worth the wait and I am in shock that so many people knew Lizzy like that. Really the whole bunch at Haven Estates are a bunch of lying unprofessional shit starters so in my opinion its a sinking ship. #10 isnt the first person to get their shit returned I’m sure and she probably wont be the last sadly. Kudos for taking it to the SL secrets site #10! Maybe now those who are looking for a rp community will think twice before giving this place a chance.
To She Who Shall Not Be Named: Lizzy is well known in the SL live music scene as a groupie to numerous male artists.
And how is it anyone’s business who a person has pixel sex (or real world sex) for that matter?
Seems like she fits in well and will help bring haven estates to a new low. I am very familiar with Lizzy as i’m one of the people in the MC community she screwed over. I dont know her partner but she sure did complain about him alot. Maybe one day I’ll share the story of when she and a friend of mine messed around while he was out of town. Lizzy deserves alot of the neg attention shes getting right now.
Same Old Same Old, It was a matter of time & She who shall not be named. Thank you all so much. I am the Creator of Post #10. I wasn’t expecting people to be so understanding about the hell I endured while living in Haven Estates err I mean Haven Estats (considering the owner created a new group and spelled her own sim name wrong. Don’t even get me started on the “Hopital”… I’ll wait until you find it). I must say I lived there for 2 months and it was indeed a shit storm. Sadly not only did my things get returned within the same time frame of that IM but my SL brothers did as well… and he had put 18K down in rent. . . There was no communication to him in regards to his items being sent back either. He was banned by association as well as myself and my entire family. Sadly it is NOT just Lizzy who is to blame for the downfall of Haven, its mainly the owner Angel and her attack dog Georgie, I mean Boyfriend. heehee. Not to mention they now have a builder on their side “Simply” Southern; getting on mic and threatening to physically throw down with people if she ever were to see them in RL. Not really good for business all the way around. I hope those who are still living there are able to open up their eyes and see the real stuff going on. I hope they get out and spend their money elsewhere where it counts.
RE #10. Even if you had blocked out the name completely I would have known who you were talking about. Typical Lizzy behavior. Drama follows her around the grid and she’s always the common denominator but it’s NEVER her fault. If I had to guess I would say she’s probably cheating on her boyfriend again and you are dangerous to her because you knew too much. All you have to do is wait another week or so and she will quit Haven Estates and move on to something else. That’s her M.O.
As one of the people involved in #5 at the time I was told I was making it a big issue. The person wasn’t racists and I would not be included in several blog groups if I continued the fight. I literally was like wow gotcha. To see years later this still occurring its sad. But to people making money is more important than what is right or wrong. I have been called far worst things in sl than a black bitch, nigger nigga etc.I let it go to each his/her own. But I wanted people to know who they were supporting. Its fine if you disrespect me but what I wont continue to do is give you my money. Its eye opening to see how people feel about different races and cultures in second life. I get it. Alot of people are foreign and don’t know what they are saying is derogatory and hurtful. But maybe if you keep getting into the same fight about the same thing it would dawn on you to no longer say those mean and hurtful things. Do not keep saying I have black friends as a back up to it all. I am not sure why this is a secret since most of this was on Facebook, and FLICKR, I guess its a secret to those who didn’t realize the sort of person they were dealing with.
Most of SL is racist. Just look at the black avatars clearly being played by non-black folks. Their avatars are a disgrace and most usually stereotypical all the time. Either that or once they find out your irl race, they treat you differently. Most people on SL play black avatars for the sake of making a mockery from what they see in the media. It’s nice finding out who to avoid in SL.
What if I told you it’s their second life and they are in full control to choose what they want their avatar to be like?
Your pretendy-fun-time-games are not an excuse to hurt people.
The grotesque oversexualized portrayals on WW/BM sex sims, where it is clear that most of the male avatars are not actually Black IRL, could come from Jim Crow era pamphlets about the fair flower of white femininity being ruined by lustful ‘black bucks’. The gap-legged, Hottentot Venus portrayals of Black women are every racist stereotype about Black women’s bodies and sexual availability.
Trying to just be a Black person wearing a Black avatar, and coming across these terrible interpretations of your racial identity put on like an offensive Sombrero Mexican Halloween costume by clueless fetishists has got to be exhausting. I have friends on the grid who tell me as much.

3: – I get you’re salty about your textured stuff being throw out of a Pupito event, there has been enough complaining about it on FB alone for everyone to know. However, I think attacking other designers is pretty low.
Come Soon Poses are one of the best pose stores out there but the key word in this sentence is POSE. They make original POSES. They don’t make their own props or claim to, but they go above and beyond to make amazing scenes for people to enjoy.
Attack Pupito all you want for the way he handles his events, but don’t turn your ire on other designers because they are still in while you got kicked out.
Point was Come Soon always uses full perm in every set (and no, not one of the “best” pose stores as the pose work is pretty basic) but they are reasonably successful. However CS is constantly in Pupito’s events without any being tossed out for using clearly full perm stuff, so why throw others out for doing exactly same thing? Many of the creators who were punted were other pose stores who all make, as you pointed out, ORIGINAL poses LOL Most events understand that and don’t fuss when pose makers use template or full perm props to accessorize their original work.

Yeah, I agree with this. If you’re getting off to kiddos and you have to have sex with pixel kiddos in Second Life to get off, then you’re the one with the issue. I don’t think about this stuff until it crosses my radar (like some stranger asking my kid avatar to sit in “Daddy’s” lap or come give “Daddy” a kiss) and the reason it pisses me off so much is because I’ve spent years in the SL kid community fighting the stigma that “all child avatars are into kiddie porn” and because I’ve personally dealt with people asking me to do sick things to them as a child avatar.
Do your sexual ageplay in private Skype chats or in your bedrooms, don’t expect people playing SL to want to have to look at your gross kink (especially since LL says it’s a no no).
I can’t even read half of these. Try harder next time.

Um, this is commentary on literal readability, not content. The fourth secret has white text on a mostly light pink background. Ideally, if the secret maker wanted anyone to read that without trouble, they’d have used a much darker color for the text, or possibly a dark outline to make it pop away from the flowers. Contrast. This is design principles 101 here…
