7 # Yes, Pupito and his reputation.
I don’t even know how people still consider this dude an artist and a great creator.
He’s a damn stealer, will always act ” so busy ” unless he has a drama going on in his mind, then he goes full retarded on you.
He invits creators to join his event, makes them pay; doesn’t give any sign even when you go and ask him about the event you’re supposed to be in, he gives you no group nor information.
And finally, when the event starts you find out that your store has been replaced by another one and you had no idea about it.
SO OBVIOUSLY, you ask for a refund since you got no information, the tons of IMs you sent him will remain unanswered.
Even if you contact him a week/a month/ A YEAR AGO, this dude won’t reply to you and the D-day he will come with shitty answers such as ” Busy, talk to manager. ” and this one will tell you ” no refund sorry “.
They are fucked up. Never make business with this piece of shit.
Waste waste waste. At least, he’s good at being a criminal.
Oh and the only way to make this piece of shit talk to you is by talking bad about him. Only then he will find the time to eject you from a Public group for no reason, leave you a nice IM full of bullshit but you can be sure he won’t reply anymore because dude, he’s busy stealing.
Boredom always bring me here.
Peace out people.
#6 Events and Gacha are healthy for the livelihood of Second Life. The reason mainstores were so busy back in the day was before the events. A few years ago the only events were once a year tailored to a specific niche like Hair Fair or Jewelry Fair. Some creators still draw tons of traffic to their mainstore on new releases but it’s a different beast; apples ans oranges so to say. Shopping events give creators the oppourtunity for maximum exposure and shoppers an oppurtunity to sim hop and check out mulitple creators new creative works all at once. Pretty much the excitement of a street fair or a convention. The downside is that being part of multiple events cost creators monthly but it could be considered advertising expenses. The downside for shoppers is of course the initial lag and traffic rush on opening days. But if you’re a patient cookie, surely you can wait until the next day to buy and wear something the rest of the grid will be wearing for a week.
Afraid nope, have to agree with 6 as well, been in SL almost since beginning and had a break till coming back in 2012. Missed the whole start of event popularity and gachas and holy hell those annoy me.
I do get that everyone makes money as they please but … diversity is dying slowly. Yes, all shops make what is profitable but back when I have been most active in SL we had all styles of clothes and everything was pretty much unisex. Nowadays you just have everyone into templates (I do get the mess that is rigging and easier money and less time), all nice items containing boobs (trousers I can adjust, same as shoes, hair, accessories and such) and most releases being for events. I do understand making items for few because your shop fits the theme, you want a change, want revenue and ads but … should give you a buffer to work on your original stuff (yes, everyone decides for themselves).
Hoping that SL version 2 and new updates of skeletons will give us more creators as yes, am the one who just given up with rigging and would love to go back to creation (just for myself really xD, needing sexy man clothes, duh!). Those which I would make for myself, I would just give for free since … no loss as intended to make this or that regardless. Plus that would make others mad :B (nah, won’t get popular at all, just a smalltime designer, mostly loving 3d models and texturing but would be fun to see someone panic).
Rigging is never going way, it’s a standard in any game development for character design. I disagree with the templates, the top creators in the big events are not really template driven (most of the good events don’t allow them) but the work they produce is really SIMILAR. I am bored of skater dresses and small tops and bottoms that look like Forever 21 all the time. I remember some of the old stars in the day that weaved dresses out of prims and magic and we looked amazing (ok likely crazy and alpha glitching till we hurt – but it was so UNIQUE). My hope is in Sansar however they get the character pipeline right so we don’t have the disaster SL of the frankenmesh avatars. The history we have gone through as creators on making Mesh Heads, Buttcracks (I am sure there are mesh ones of those), Mesh Bodies, Mesh eyeballs, mesh feet, oh hi let me just have a mesh set of lips too please thank you, basically you name it. I do Mesh heads and I am over it, but boy do they bring in the money. I don’t want to just create for money I want to create things that genuinely are fun and creative. SL is so hard to work with these days and the market has changed due to the frankenmesh demand. It’s ridiculous the learning curve for new people on the platform, it’s just TOO HARD and there is zero creativity and that spark of fun now “modding” your character/avatar – I would love to see an interface like gamers get in MMOs or something that brings that fun back into the virtual world and creators going back to making clothing accordingly and not mesh parts (well apart from the e-peen, that… Read more »
Not complaining about rigging – I love rigged items that animate! Just never succeeded myself and until I do, I am not releasing anything as I do not like my things myself 😉 . The template thing is more noticable on the dude side of the market as all my avatars are such and have different fashion – might have seen it all. Do not even look or care about claims of original mesh, just can recognise most xD . Not that it is wrong to profit on those – if there is a market and you want money – sure, more power to you! However indeed on the prim thing. And we could mod things! (we still can but not to that extent) Of course you can still make sculpts or boxes and such, just eyes learnt to love mesh aesthetic. Here is to hypocrite me. But indeed, we had lots of activities way back, fashion was a part of it, same as economy but seemed more … fun? Hell, you could just spend weeks camping to get your ideal outfit and while there were bots around and silent ones – most interacted. Also roleplay is gone and holy hell, I keep looking for nice one but active ones seem to be the ones with same horrid crowd and mods over and over again (Crack Den, Outbreak, Convergence, Mischief Managed, Deadend so on…) while I miss Missing Mile 🙁 where all people just are gone. Even the so very old Port Babbage. Am not certain why we have more events centering around fashion nowadays. Probably crowd demand. Then again… those are not the same ones … remember fashion walkway events everyone waited for? That one shop that always opened new line with one, Paper Couture I think or something… Read more »
The work is similar because it is templated! You can buy full perm templates that include the dae file for 5,000 lindens, several top brands do this and claim its original mesh as the clothing will have their name on it because they are the ones who imported the dae file.
How exciting would street fairs be if there was 10 street fairs going every week? At least when it was just Hair Hair, Shoe Fair and Jewelry Fair you had that excitement.
There was a time when organizers wouldn’t dare organize an event at the same time at those big events. Now we had how many start during hair fair?
#7
It is amazing. I heard a creator telling me that the new event ran by him and his partner is one where you pay tickets and then everything inside is for free,so the tickets are divided by the creators, but they sneaked in 2 stores, that untill today they wont admit to be theirs, hideki and ionic (which is known for being theirs)
i dont know how these folks get any busyness at all in sl.
Also back to hair fair. I think the designers did beautiful work. They should be appreciated for the efforts. The only issue I have with hair fair is the organizer makes it impossible to tp around using double click teleport as they have the landing set up incorrectly. For limited mobility users like myself it becomes a frustrating exercise to keep moving my avatar around using the keyboard versus my adapted mouse.
I chat with Sasy Scarborough in the SL Blogger Support group occasionally, and she seems like a really nice lady. I’d drop her a note card with some ideas on how to make her builds more accessible for next year.
That was my one grievance with hair fair tool. Why do uppity organizers insist on making it harder for people who support them with bullshit restrictions – GASP do you think we may TP in the wrong order, or GASP only visit the stores we want to pick hair from? Gimmie a break.
None of the landmarks worked in the notecards either, with the lag and number of people there it became a disaster to try and navigate. I bet a ton of people lost sales as people just gave up in the end. It’s the same small mindedness of sim owners who turn fly off (thanks Firestorm for letting us override that bullshit too).
The Arcade used to do that too, force you to one landmark point and not let you TP around. I think it was changed on the last round as I could actually get to machines without camming finally.
Organizers know nothing about how people shop in SL, most of us CAM or trying to TP around by clicking the land by the item we want to see. Nobody has time for wandering around your laggy builds thanks with no landmarks working!
What the heck is 1 about?
Even though i didnt post it I do find it hilarious. Its about the crappy blogger Abel Streeter. A total suck up to anyone that makes clothing to try and blog there stuff. Even though you can totally tell she doesn’t actually use photoshop and all of her pictures are all pretty much the same.
What’s wrong with not using Photoshop? I don’t use it in my blog pictures, for the most part. I prefer to show the items I’m blogging as the user will see them in world.
I just looked at the pictures I thought they were kinda pretty. Even without photoshop!
Some body can’t afford things like that, so fair play to anybody creating things even on a budget.
This is probably just some other blogger being mean so I hope people realize that.
This is not called blogging you can’t even see anything in that mess. And as i see the pictures are always about sitting between a bunch of objects. Not about the PhotoShop but this person seemingly lacks basic skills for blogging and I don’t understand how many stores could accept to blog to them. Probably they only care about the 99 what isn’t hard to achieve if you follow 4k people….
Guess you are the secret writer?
What’s your blog so we can critique your skills.
Don’t be shy now.
Forget his crappy work with his floating random objects all around and lens flares everywhere. Whats more annoying is the fact that Abel is a woman walking around acting like a gay guy trying to get gay guys to date her. Pathetic catfish imo. No wonder she has a new relationship every other week. No one would want to stick with her psycho ass for to long.
#4. From what I’ve heard, Dolly dumped her kids because they weren’t ‘kid enough’ for her and she was spending too much money paying for a sim that they didn’t use. She even called out kids who don’t ‘act like kids’ on Facebook even though she has had Ivy for years. Suddenly having kids who work is an issue? If you ask me her crazy husband is to blame. He’s shady as fuck. And also a racist pig. I’ve heard he actually thinks all black people should be slaves again. Real classy.
Frankly, if you wanted to be able to fuck your husband anywhere in your house you should have just gotten a skybox or something. Throwing your kids away is horrible.
Two of them were her kids for a while so they definitely weren’t looking to get famous like the other two so that’s not the cases.
you’re all fucking stupid shut the hell up no ones famous in secondlife and being a secondlife baby isnt going to make you “famous” , leave people alone.
Not my biz is probably crazychef whatever, but even so, a couple things. im sure dolly knew her kids when she adopted them. none of them ever acted like kids, at least not from what they showed outwardly. what was she expecintg lol
they just all looked the same or made themselves look the same so idk how thats a basis for adopting kids but whatever.
most likely they just wanted a famous family anyways
This is Crazychef just now getting around to seeing Secrets this week. Gotta love how my name gets brought up. I am no longer in this family and I haven’t spoken to any of them in a few months. Not sure what happened between Dolly and her children. I honestly wish them all the very best in life.
What a huge shock. Considering that they own Heritage. I heard the same thing about Britain though she got rid of Dolly who made her own family because Britain is a shitty mom and that Britain has been wanting to get rid of Chelsea for quite some time now, but she is too busy living in an illusion. I heard that she dumped her partner to get on her teen avi and fool around with her SL brother. Now She’s too busy partnering and un partnering people to benefit herself and get in with designers so she can horde more décor.
Not a shocker about Dolly’s husband. Then again the whole family is racist. Bout time someone called them out on their lies and bullshit. Been told they like to talk a lot of shit about people who don’t work in RL when they are the ones who do the exact same thing and sit on SL all day long. Highly doubt their real life partners have a clue what they actually do in SL.
Dude shut up, all they did was let you go. Dolly & Felipe never caused you any harm or told anyone your personal information like you are doing right now. seriously let it go, everyone knows you’re just salty because you got let go as their kid, and by reading the little secrets you guys are so obviously making
no wonder they let you go, nothing but drama man.
#3 – She’s not even doing anal. It might be news to you, who ever you are, but anal is penetration. Not just rubbing yourself up and down the shaft with the penis head near your butthole. If you don’t like it, unfollow them.
#2: You sound ignorant of what actually goes into both creating hair and participating in Hair Fair. First, the minimum requirement for participating is three styles. Both of the designers you mentioned brought five styles to the fair; not only that, they were, in total, ten of some of the best styles Hair Fair has to offer this year, not just styles someone threw together at the last minute to meet the participation requirements. These are styles that look good, fit well, and have gorgeous texturing choices (in fact, it appears both stores upped their game with texture changes and/or improvements in their HUD design for fair releases). Secondly, as someone who has made and sold hair, I can tell you that just one design can take up to a month to build, texture, script, package, and market. Some designers work faster, others slower, but when you figure in the hours for five styles, you know you’re talking about months worth of work on the part of these creators — months of careful planning and building in order to create beautiful, finished products that customers actually want and WILL WEAR, rather than some freebie that most people will try and toss in the bin after. I would much rather see stores creating better quality pieces that will actually be worn around the grid than waste a great designer’s time messing with a throwaway piece. And, yes, people will throw them away, even if they’re well-made because free things are never respected or appreciated as much as something a person pays for, people being what they are. Finally, free items aren’t what Hair Fair is about. You may find free items there, yes. But that’s at the creator’s discretion (and generally depends upon the time that creator has to spend on… Read more »
Whoever wrote number 2 should be ashamed. This is a charity event not a freebie hunt
Hey #1, before you say a designer didn’t have free gift, next time double check, ok? http://image.prntscr.com/image/e12292abb0de47e0846b5226ae984b84.jpeg
well I meant #2
#2. Whining over not getting free items on a charity event…wow. Just. wow.
Hair Fair is a charity event? I was told it wasn’t and that the charity part is just a side of it. I thought that was hilarious with how much they promote it being a charity event and then the percentages get smaller every year.
I noticed that as well. For a “charity” event… the amount of their donations went from like 100% to 75% to 50% and now most of them are only donating 10-20%… Lelutka didn’t even have a donation % sign at all in their booth that I saw. It’s pretty sad and a lot of people have noticed this as well.
Again more entitlement. It is a charity event. The fact people constantly demand GIVE ME FREE shit speaks volumes to our society and expectations.
Get over yourself.
word Caity, the entitlement some people feel is just stunning. Also, LeLutka does have a gift. It’s called Nova and it has all the color huds included.

Oh that’s so pretty… I have no idea what got the secret maker’s mesh panties in a wad. I <3 Hair Fair.
#7 Why are people still surprised? It’s been known for years that him and his partner are shady thieves who grief people they disagree with. How they’ve managed to get major designers into their events is beyond me but SLers have a short memory. Remember when his partner was caught stealing another artist’s work? Or selling copyrighted items? No?
Color me shocked. How quickly we forget what once had us all riled up. Just google Lakua’s name and you’ll find the flickr link to the work of the RL artist she ripped off. Then she played the poor me card, got Pupito involved and somehow everyone conveniently forgot what shitty people they both are.
#2 It’s a charity event. No one “owes” you free shit. Suck it up and oh, I don’t know. Buy hair to support the designers’ hard work AND the charity.
#3 – Considering this persons Flickr stream is amazing. Jealous much?
So *who* is this secret about???????????????
@5 Maybe fact check before crying about something. First off, it’s not full permission. Secondly, there are several versions in the package, none of which are labeled “kids.” Just because some freak pictured there put it on what looks like an adolescent body doesn’t make it the creator’s fault. It’s the sicko who’d dress a “child avatar” that way.
SMB is solely a body for kid avatars, unlike the kemono which isn’t intended as a child avatar. There’s really no excuse for anything “adult” or “erotic” to be made for SMB.
It was a FULL PERM, but limited edition, and sold out. “Check” PetiteAnaiis flickr. Top and shorts set.
https://www.flickr.com/photos/petiteanaiis/27412502163/
Just because it’s not labeled as kids, doesn’t mean it’s not. On her products, it’s labeled as “SMB”… now go to marketplace, and do a quick search for “SMB”.
First listing: #SMB Mesh Body for Kids.
It’s SMB. It’s a kids mesh body. It’s labeled as a kids mesh body and that’s what it is, whatever is sold to SMB is made primarly and mostly to the kids. There is a completely flat version of the top on her full perms.
Well, maybe fact check before crying about something.
It’s not only that item, she sells hard nipples, thongs, camel toes for SMB, a kids mesh body. Limited edition, but they are removed after a while.
https://www.flickr.com/photos/petiteanaiis/15347367267/
She doesn’t even have to, because she is talented and makes things for popular adult mesh bodies like slink, Maitreya, etc. Her things sell out fast.
I’m not saying this is the situation with this product, however there are many androgynes in sl who purchase the flat chest versions of things and also utilize the SMB body due to its slight feminine appearance without the boobs and hips of say the maitreya or slink body.
Then they need to be aware they’re buying a product for child avatars. SMB is marketed as a child body. It doesn’t have adult proportions including height. Nothing sexual should ever be made to fit it. If they want flat chested and slender – the kemono is perfect for that but sexualizing a mesh body designed and used by kids? No. Stop.
Also, check this custom mesh made by PetiteAnaiis (sold by others)

Not saying the sellers are okay, but there are more, and she is the source
No 6 so true
I am a resident and I am a consumer in SL, I would never begrudge anyone their livelihood, but I completely agree with No. 6.
