Ok people a few things.
1. If you have a cyber stalker, check the laws in your local area and deal with it accordingly. Kess works in law enforcement and is more than happy to cooperate with any law enforcement inquiries.
2. Posting a common name and large city or state is not doxing. Hi my name is Melanie and I live in Pennsylvania. So what? Good luck finding me.
3. If your SL first name is your RL first name or some variation don’t cry when your stalker ferrets it out.
4. If you see RL info posted, ya know like your full name address and/or phone number (or any combo of that). Contact me or Kess and be specific. Who made the comment and on which week. Also if it’s a comment say so. Someone contacted us saying there is a secret with my spouse’s RL info. I doubled checked this week’s secrets and tomorrow’s secrets saw nothing and moved on. Oh look it’s in the comments.
5. Do not call attention to the offending comment. Just report it. Having your friends, family and side pieces brigading just makes matters worse.

Going on record here. Whoever made #4 is a twat of epic proportions. I don’t know RubyStarlight Writer, but I’ve been a patron of Exposeur since I was a rookie SL photographer and it was a new shop. I have always received good quality props and good value for my lindens, quick customer service, and generous store credit/group gifts.
I will miss Exposeur, and by extension, its creator. I wish her all the best in her studies coming forward, I hope her kitty cats make a full recovery or she can make them more comfortable if that’s not possible. And I will eagerly look forward to anything that comes out in special events or marketplaces.
So many of my fave creators have transitioned out of SL, so many of the favorite brands I loved as a newbie are just memories. So, when you ask who cares? I do.
i feel pretty sure the reason for secret number 4 is because ruby has always been a twat of epic proportions. just sayin’
That hasn’t been my experience, in my limited interaction with her.
I love the gossip, but these really aren’t secrets anymore, it’s just all bitchery.
So what you are saying is. She agreed to join an event and make a new exclusive item. She took the money from the first round. Then she decided she didn’t want to make exclusive items. So she pops off and releases the hair for everyone. Screwing over the people who paid for exclusive items as was advertised on the site.
So now the site says L$1500 a month for mystery exclusive recolours.

That hair brand isn’t in luxe box anymore I see it’s Lamb now. Likely she got kicked out for being douche over releasing her items?
She left of her own will because she doesn’t like making exclusive-only hairs. Luxebox was originally exclusive to semi-exclusive items, but people interpreted the information put out to be exclusive-only.
Luxebox is exclusive-only now and for the foreseeable future (supposedly) which is why she left the event on her own.
She wants to make her hairs available to everyone and not only to the select percentage who are in Luxebox each round. Yep. Total douche (sarcasm).

Sorry but Luxe Box was a complete waste of time and money last month. Hope for the fools who still are paying even more money this month it may be worth while but I highly doubt it. The whole event sucks big donkey dicks.

#3 Don’t date in SL. It’s a game at the end of the day and you can’t expect something real from a fake world. Same goes for friendships. It’s all fake and any kind of interaction with ‘people’ online is fake. No one cares about anyone online because they’re not there to face you, so they can really talk to whomever without you knowing. :\
My best friendships have come from SL. They have been there for me more for me than my rl family. So I’m sorry you have had a bad SL experience, but not everyone has. Granted, I did the dating in SL, and it didn’t go well, but my friends helped me through that as well.
So basically everyone on SL has a great social life other than you. If no one wants to be your friend that’s not their fault it’s yours.
If everyone you meet is an asshole than maybe you’re the asshole.

I have one PC. Which I built on my own because it is more cost effective to do so. I have three monitors.
I do web design, not developing, though I could, and I do it freelance. My big girl job is in a big office building handling death claims in life insurance for over 40 hours a week.
I live in Vermont, but I’m from South Philadelphia. So I don’t know who you’re trying to talk to about poverty and neighborhoods.
I live in a converted school building, not a condo. Like you think I do.
How about, instead of assuming you know someones life and being bitter about what they have and what you don’t, you go out and get a job and work for the things you want?
I’m sure you’re one of those types of people who refuse to work at fast food or other jobs you think of yourself as being “too good” for, so you sit on the internet and bitch about how no one will hire you — but you have no life skills to work at the jobs you’re applying for.

I had an sl relationship with a man for over 5 years. To the point that he came to my city and we moved in together in rl. Considering that real life relationships last about 2-3 years (at least the ones of my friend’s). A 5 year relationship is a lifetime. So I’m relatively happy to say that while they are few and far in between you could find spmeone, as well as real life friendships. But you can’t come into the game looking for drama as a means of entertainment which most do.
SL = Sympathy Life. Every day person on SL has some type of issue and they want codependent enablers to feed into it. You are absolutely right! It is a game at the end of the day and you go about your life. I’ve never been fucked over by so many “friends” in RL as I have in SL. Everyone is pretending to be something or someone they are not. It’s easy to hide behind a computer and talk yourself up as if you are better than everyone else or you need more sympathy than anyone else.
And yet, you’re here.

Two of my good girlfriends (who I met playing MUSHes back when the internet was new, dinosaurs roamed the earth, and rocks were soft) got married due to online gaming. One met her husband, and now the father of her beautiful baby, playing WOW. The other met her husband MUSHing in a comic book themed setting.

I have several friends in SL and other games who are real life couples now, living together or married since meeting each other. One has an adorable baby girl now together too. Anything is possible.
SL is a beautiful place, filled with many wonders, so many incredibly talented people, ideas and dreams brought to slife. I love it. I love seeing what will come next, the next art installation, live music, performance, build, event, ect. I love meeting new people here and getting an idea of where they came from, what they’re in SL for, and what they want to do with their SL. From the builders of the new VR sims to the regular joe who just wants to sit and chit chat.
I roleplay in my free time. Or explore, take photos, explore peoples stores, go to the art sims, hook up my Oculus and explore the VR sims, fangirl over the Lindens I meet. You must find what brings you joy and excitement, other wise, why are you here? If you’re not happy here, why waste time here?
Okay wow. I met my partner in SL, I’ve met friends in SL. That same partner I now live with in real life, I’ve met some of my friends from SL in real life. Other people have gone from SL couples to real life couples, and they are still happily together. To say its all fake and no one makes genuine, honest connections, means you’ve only been talking to shitty people your entire time logged in. It’s only fake when people make it fake.
While I’m typing the secret about open relationships, yeah it’s a thing look it up sometime and it’s agreed upon on both sides. Unless she just says it’s open and other half doesn’t know, then yeah she’s being a ho bag. Guess someone can clarify details.

It’s amazing people can find others in this world and be happy, no matter what the location, on or offline. Humans have adapted to technology and while I don’t like all of it, I think of all the people who have connected, laughed, enjoyed friendship and love, that never would have without the advancing technology we have adapted to.
I met my husband back in the days of MySpace. I lost him a year ago to cancer and it was devastating. But I have all the memories of our shared live and happiness. If it was not for chatting for hours on line about music and bands we loved, we never would have taken the step to meet up, and I wouldn’t have my two children and that time with him we did share.
I applaud anybody who reaches out and makes a positive connection with another, in whatever form it may be.

1 – empty stalls with curtain are there because certain designers decide to not participate current round , but I understand your concern and hope there will be something done with that in the future

Magika’s not even in this next round, so i don’t know why people are being so salty. it was a box, you only paid 1000L and got stuff from enough stores that i’d honestly add up to about 5 or 6000L. One store, that seems to have dropped out after the first event, put out the full release…after everyone seemed to be upset that they didn’t include enough colors in their hud. and you have to go and point them out? Noone’s ever happy, are they? Whine whine whhiiinnnee. Luxebox lladies, keep it up, Magika too, you’re all wonderful.

I am the poster of this “secret”. I did in fact purchase the first Luxe Box and I was very happy with some things and disappointed with others. However, I went into it *knowing* this would be the case because that’s the nature of this event. The creators in the first round were great and are known for their great quality so I was happy to outlay the lindens and be part of the event. That the promised items were ‘exclusive’ made it even more appealing which is why I was annoyed to get the group notice from Magika (whose hair I adore btw) about the general release of the so-called Luxe Box ‘exclusive’. I stand by my remarks. Undertaking a general release of a product that is sold as an ‘exclusive’ undermines not only the spirit of what Luxe Box is supposed to be about but it’s *not* what was promised by the event organizers. It begs the question, ‘Is this the beginning of the slippery slope?’….in other words, does this mean other creators will go on to release their Luxe Box ‘exclusives’ grid-wide? And if so, why would anyone bother with this event in future if they know, a couple of weeks down the track, a creator will begin to sell their ‘exclusive’ item at the mainstore? The creator of one item last month has publicily stated in her group, a number of times, that she will stand by the terms of the event and will NEVER release her item/s as a general release. It will remain an exclusive Luxe Box release. I also know another creator personally and she has told me that creators were asked NOT to release items in future for the reasons I have outlined.
