#8 – That’s the truth. My friend was a part of her family before she came along but thankfully she left the family as soon as she knew what kind of people they are.
Does #8 also have a few alts? The main one being a multiple sim developer and owner? I saw the two comments about all the men in her family. If it’s who I think, the woman is a delusional narcissist! I do not know this Dee , but I do know a woman – avatar initials of E B , that sits on the computer 20 hours a day and breaks once to feed her kid. The whole other time she’s playing with her Grown Virtual Sons, posing herself in lingerie with closed eyes, (mental problem right there) for her flicker account , or hopping on all her alts with her equally disturbing alt king boyfriend . That is white trash at it’s finest people .
Looks like the logo was FINALLY removed. (It is still up on Seraphim’s advertising sidebar though)

I’ve spoken to the artist myself and they’re very upset about it. I was part of this event in SL and once I found out about what was going on, I pulled my items. I’ve also asked for a refund from several of the event owners, both through IM/Offline as well as note cards kindly asking as such. I’ve not been given a reply whatsoever regarding it whether I’d get a refund of the L$2,000 back or not but they did however have time to get on and remove my shop logo from my original spot. It’s sad, this whole thing is just so so sad.
This is what they said to the Kawaii Pon Pon group. I was going to blog for the event til I read all this go down. Now it’s just disgusting.

I was a blogger for the events first round, I was excited for it but was informed before the kowaii pon pon round just how shady the creator is. It was sad, because I did enjoy some of her items, but I removed myself as a blogger from the event on my own and as quietly as possible, and I doubt I’ll purchase anything from her store in the future.

If you have known him, do you know ALL his alts? I have known him a very long time as well since he started. He has even lied to women what his real name is. Have you noticed his game of going after women that put a lot of cash in the game? I ran a full modeling agency and he was in a few of my fashion shows. When he broke it off, which he does after many months , sometimes longer , he just moves on to the next woman he can charm… Which he does VERY well. Second Life is full of liars, but when a man has to lie about his real life , there is a bigger problem. He is plain and simple a sociopath and while he tells you he loves you, he is on one of his many alts telling another women he loves her too. What the man really needs to do is learn what a Real man is and maybe get his teeth fixed
Second Life is fantasy , but there are people with feelings behind the computer. To justify someone for hurting others as being a part of fantasy is wrong. This is why I would never partner or worse have sexual relations with someone in second life. It is wrong especially if people have real relationships outside the game .

Yes it is wrong to hurt people in ANY life. But its worse in second life, always has been and always will be. Because when you don’t have that person in front of you and are typing away ,stinging words come easy. But everyone just assumes that what they read or hear is the gospel ,if you aren’t involved in something then you will never know the truth. And everyone is saying its wrong to hurt people, but without knowing the truth and coming on this site and bashing someone isn’t that hurting someone ? As to your point about people having relationships in world while having one out of world, its only wrong if the other half in real life doesn’t know. There are plenty of people that do this in world and it works for them , a lot of people are confident enough in their real life relationships to not let one in world interfere . Like everything else…what works for some doesn’t work for others.

No, that is called breaking the law. Unless the artist signed over ownership of the artwork to be used in any way, she is still the owner of the copyrighted material..even if it was commissioned. Therefore to take a copyrighted piece and then use it for commercial uses is clear breach of copyright law and if the artist wanted to, could file a claim. Leeoh needs to understand that there are actual legal consequences and is not just an “oh well, you’re just a snob” situation.

I am sorry but there is no way this is an “honest mistake.” She took the time to pop the image into photoshop and remove the artist’s signature. She removed it because either 1. She probably wanted people to believe she made it or 2. She knew what she was about to do was wrong. And even if we are ARE to give her the benefit of the doubt and say she made a “honest mistake”, ignorance does not excuse you from the law. The way she talked to the artist tells us all she does not care she violated the rules and pretty much spat in that artists’s face.
Yeah definitely with Tsuki on that. If it was just an honest mistake she probably wouldn’t have erased the signature or in the very least said she was sorry and didn’t mean to break the rules. But she pretty much told the artist its her job to let people “USE” her and pretty much just said fuck you. That doesn’t sound like an honest mistake to me.

The artist has said in her Twitter, and even told Leeoh directly on Twitter that using her work as a logo and removing the signature was not allowed.

I don’t know her personally. I’ve only seen all this from the artists Twitter. But if she’s charging people, for anything, then it’s commercial. Doesn’t matter if she’s making a profit or not.
Everything is on the artists Twitter. She’s not okay with her work being used this way, especially since Leeoh removed her signature from the image.
This entire situation could have been avoided if Leeoh just talked to the artist for permission. Or, checking the artists ToS before purchasing the art to see what it is or isn’t allowed to be used for.

#4; Some updated info about this. The thief in question did commission the art in the top twitter pic, however they went against the terms laid out by the artist (http://prnt.sc/b9txcd) by using it commercially as a logo for their event, and even went as far as to remove the artists signature and edit over it. But either way, the original artist is upset about it, and I hope it gets taken down soon.
