Before we delve into secrets…
• If you hook up with a crazy in SL, it is not our responsibility to help you deal with that. If it becomes a RL issue contact law enforcement.
• Trust no one. If you tell people your laundry they will air it for you.
• Secret submissions are anonymous. We don’t know if your crazy ex or your abuela submitted them.
• Make your secrets legible.
• Do not contact us just to threaten us, especially with e-lawyers. We’ve been doing this for 12+ years. You are not the first nor will you be the last.
• Lastly, if the material submitted here triggers you, please get help. If the materials submitted here make you suicidal please see the suicide hotline numbers posted. They are there to help.

You know, words like that coming from you… whoever you are… mean less than nothing to me. Nah, Dee, I’m just sick of taking credit for secrets other people have written. Decided to take a long time to reply because when I jump the gun, I tend to say shit I don’t really mean. You may think I’m a horrible person for posting such a secret, but in all honesty, I’m sick of hearing about how I wrote that fucking cat secret when I really didn’t, and then everyone hating me for it. If someone’s gonna hate me, fine. However, I’d like for it to be for something I actually did. So I wrote that one. People need to get lives instead of posting on here, but seeing as how I’m blocked from everything… Well, I wanted to let everyone know where I stand on this issue seeing as how the person who did the accusing is a complete bitch and hates me either way. Sorry it took so long to reply to your comment, but again, I like to think about what I say. Not doing so has gotten me in trouble in the past, so I’d appreciate it if you didn’t think I dwell on things, but that I try to be more pensive in articulating what’s going on. Thanks a bunch.

Lyrical Ember/Kelly Dickerson- It is really quite disgusting that as a blogger manager or brand manager of several stores, you would take part in this website and write such a nasty secret about somebody. Even if you didn’t write the cat secret, you wrote this one. That makes you no better than if you had written the cat secret. You should be ashamed of yourself for creating such vile and nasty drama in secret and pretending to be an angel under your name. It is one thing to comment on here, but it is completely different to write a long and drawn out nasty secret about someone. If you think you are better than the person who apparently accused you of something, you are not. You are worse.

It’s one thing to comment on this website, especially if it is to defend someone or something. It is completely different to make secrets yourself. Especially if your secret is to say you didn’t make a secret–makes no sense. So you want to say you are innocent from making a secret so you make a secret that is equally as bad -if not worse- than the one you are accused of making? This makes sense.

So Jet/Shane has a lot of loving friends who care about him and were willing to come together to do whatever they could to help the guy out…..what a bunch of assholes eh? Well you know what? He’s an amazing dude. Perhaps if your friends cared about you as much as his friends care about him you wouldn’t be being such a twat about it. Hard to care about someone so selfish and bitter though I suppose……

It’s not jealous 😉 There are many many many people who do not have the ability to have friends just make an event to raise money for their medical needs. While it can be a good thing for them, they should feel what it is like to go through their RL medical issues with a money issue, and having every waking moment trying to keep money together.
Yeah, I don’t care for the tone of all these people saying that he only has helpful friends because he’s such a superior person to the secret-maker. Is it really so hard for them to imagine that someone else’s RL health or financial issues might make it impossible to spend enough time in SL and Plurk to form those kinds of bonds?If you have the luxury of pissing hours away in a virtual world you are already luckier than the majority of people who have to deal with poverty and ill health. Life is unfair like that.
“Jealous is a Bitch” perhaps you need to check a dictionary. You defined “jealous” in your very statement defending your absence of jealousy. Anyone who would wish turmoil and stress on someone going through an illness has some serious issues. Maybe you are ill (and I certainly hope you are not) but to wish hard times on someone because you think they need to “suffer every waking moment” with money issues is either said by a right wing Republican, since they are devoid of empathy, or someone who is just plain jealous…and mean. If you are ill, I wish you nothing but peace and healing. If you are not, count your blessings and be thankful someone that is suffering is getting assistance.
No one Is “Wishing” ill health or any of the sort on anyone they simply stated their frustrations at the fact that the event and its slogan “SL looks out for its own” which should read ” SL looks out for who it wants too” Yes it is very nice of creators to band together to help other creators of their friends but it would be awesome to band together to help EVERYONE with the condition raising awareness and money for the condition as a whole and not one single person. Because as the secret maker is saying , they too also have a condition and it freaking sucks for them, if you in fact only wish peace and healing why wouldn’t you sympathize with THEIR HURT AND PAIN and say I understand how you would feel that way, it sucks, but on the other hand this guy is also a great person AS IM SURE YOU ARE and some people just have better luck.. It is NOT jealousy to be upset and hurt by the fact that you struggle daily with things whilst other seemingly have been blessed with such amazing friends. I personally think you are the one devoid of empathy since you clearly can only empathize with whom you wish to show empathy to.. You can feel happy about a persons wealthy or blessings while still being upset at your lack there of.. Stop being so narrow minded and judgmental.

That is the quote that caused me to write what I did. No one, including the author of that quote, should have to go through what clearly they think everyone needs to experience. I sincerely hope the OP is not ill and I would never wish anyone to have to go through RL sick and riddled with stress. I lost my brother to cancer and my heart was ripped from my chest. Had my brother been able to afford Cobra Insurance (or if he hadn’t of died before the ACA came into effect) he would have secured treatment. Does this make me bitter? Yes in every sense you can image. Does this make me wish others should have to endure the same hardship as him, no. I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy – because I AM extremely empathetic. Do I wish everyone who was sick did not have to suffer? You betcha. And, that is my point. …. as narrow minded and judgmental as it is…..
The recipient did not ask for the event. If all the information had been read the poster would see that he is only now, after 2 long years, asking for help. He set up a gofundme which ANYONE can do. And the people who know and love him took it upon themselves to set this up for him.
Perhaps the poster of this secret should be proactive and do something about it. Talk to designers even if you don’t know them. Talk to the owners of popular clubs. Set up a gofundme, instead of bashing someone who is suffering and just coming off as a petty, jealous piece of shit.
People help the people they know because they are around them and know what they are going through. If people don’t know someone is ill or in need of assistance, how can they possibly help?
