• If you hook up with a crazy in SL, it is not our responsibility to help you deal with that. If it becomes a RL issue contact law enforcement.

Don’t even get me started #5 I completely agree with you. Seraphim is run by the worst ‘manager’ in all of SL. Del is nothing but a slave driving (beep). She treats her staff like garbage and outright abuses them. Behind everyone’s backs she talks trash about them to anyone who will listen. She expects all of her staff members to work nonstop and for either free or very little. And honestly does not give them any appreciation for all the time and effort they put in. She has been overheard on numerous occassions making statements like ‘everyone’s replacable’ What the hell? Are you related to Abby Lee Miller? She sure acts like it. There is a reason why Seraphim has a worse turn over rate than McDonalds, because of Del. Yet she refuses to treat her staff members with any sense of humanity, to her they are nothing but replacable drones. Because she can always find some new sucker who will apply to join her team of ‘elite’ bloggers because they are under false illusions that it will be beneficial to them in any way. What they don’t realize is how much stress and pressure you will be put under and how much of a vindictive, back stabbing bitch you’ll have to work for. Del, I really hope you wake up and realize why all your staff have repeatedly walked out on you… it isn’t because they don’t like covering events, it is because you treat them like trash and abuse your power acting like you’re the Queen Bee. I completely agree with you. I worked for Seraphim from spring/summer 2013- December 2013 and then again from April 2014 – October 2014. The first time I was fired for something totally stupid and I hated Del forever afterwards. But then we slowly became friends again and I wanted to work there again and she let me. She claimed to be your friend, but then when you made a mistake or couldn’t get a post done on time, she went batshit on you. And what the hell does she even do? The reason I quit the second time around was because she turned crazy when we were doing this event and posted it without all of the designers on it although none of us had time to fix it right at that moment. She told me I was unaccountable and irresponsible; her exact words and I’m certain she said similar things to the other girls. So then she was “forced” to go there and do all the work herself and complained every second of it. She doesn’t even know me and she thinks she can say such bullshit to people. I decided I couldn’t work with this bitch anymore so I quit on the spot. I then proceeded on calling her a bitch on plurk and then she thought I would waste my time talking shit behind her back to everyone because she’s paranoid as fuck. She’s completely insane. She needs to be taken down a notch and sent back to hell where she came from. Oh also, she makes up insane stories and tries to manipulate people to make them believe nothing is her fault. LOL Callie, am I still the crazy such-and-such Del told you I was, and you then went around repeating? Slander is a nasty thing. Anyway I’m sorry to see you had to learn the hard way that I was right. Yep, I had the same experience. Hardest worker but totally shit upon, and when Del got it into her crazy head that I was out to get her, she fired me with pretty much no reason except “you’re trying to turn people against me.” Callie, thank you for mentioning her paranoia, that’s the one thing that people have missed so far in this discussion. It’s like Don Quixote with his windmills. Destroy the monsters, Del! They’re waving their big menacing windmilly arms at you! Get ’em! “Angelic One”, I feel the same way! Del is really good at making you feel two inches tall, and like she and her clique rule the grid. I knew I hadn’t deserved the way she treated me (oh and yeah she refused to pay me for the last bit of work I had done there, sounds like that’s a repeating theme with all her employees) but then how could I do anything about it? You can’t go around talking about it or else you’re “badmouthing” – and who would believe you anyway? This bitch has ridden Vix’s coattails all this time, she’s profited off the hard work that Vix put into making Seraphim great, and lots of people didn’t even realize Vix wasn’t still the owner, so they still associated Seraphim – and by association, Del – with awesomeness. I am so glad to receive this feedback from others. For a while there I thought it was me – that I wasn’t worthy or that I totally sucked. And I’m lol’ing at the thumbs down… I wonder who’s doing THAT!!??!!! 🙂
I also agree that Seraphim is a great resource for event marketing. But, because some has a RL job (like many of us do) and can’t be available on someone else’s all too free schedule doesn’t mean we’re bad bloggers. It merely means we have to work as a team to ensure events are covered accordingly. Eh. Seraphim is good but it’s not angelic. I’ll definitely keep working as I do with folks who know how to work as a team, how to share responsibility AND are given freedom of creation and expression. At Seraphim there is no freedom of either.

Events lag the first few days, were you expecting a smooth experience during the first few days of opening? Not the expectations one should have when events open.
Impossible to find anything? I guess the fact that everything is laid out by category isn’t making things easier for you, but then who can forget the teleporters that take you to each building, within each building there are teleporters on every floor to each category. If that’s not simple, I don’t know what is.
@9 Your secret doesn’t give all the details but I can tell you this: I have volunteered for two “shelters” for pets – the Austin Humane Society and the Central Oklahoma Humane Society. Both are excellent “shelters” and understand that sometimes your life changes that you cannot keep a pet for an extended period of time any longer. Depending on the area this person lives in, maybe advertising for a new home takes way to long, particular for an older cat.

Thank you Elle, To the person who made the secret you really have no clue and if you even read the plurk in question properly or saw any of my other posts on my TL (which is public so feel free to go digging) you’ll notice that I am doing the right thing by Loh’Ki (the furball in question). 1. Yes this has been a move in planning for some time you are correct there. 2. Yes he is allergic to cats. “Very” would be exaggerating. 3. Not sure why the sex of my cat was a bother to you. It was mentioned that he was a male in the beginning of the plurk so that if anyone was interested would know the sex of the cat as some people prefer one or the other. It was then pointed out later that my partner already has a male cat so we were unsure how they would interact together IF I took him there. 4. I’m being selfish by wanting to find him a new home?……k So here is what you accidentally left out of your attack against me – This move was not planned to happen so soon. Certain things have happened in both mine and my partners RL that have meant we needed to move the dates further forward than what was expected. Originally I would have had plenty of time to find a new forever home for him. Because of the change in dates I had to make a decision fast. As soon as we knew the dates of when this was all going to happen I immediately started looking for a new home for him. And for all you catty people out there, at least Cory doesn’t copy RL sources, every single item she has put out for sale is a unique design. So that is also saying something that she is better than most of these other mesh wannabe creators.

I didn’t know “Cory” was a couple, I thought it was just a woman. Well first I thought it was a man because of the name, then I joined Plurk and saw it appeared to be a woman. But I don’t give a flying squirrel’s tail either way! He/she/they make awesome pixely stuff I love to buy. Whether it’s one person or five behind the brand name Trompe L’oeil, doesn’t matter, they’re not hurting anybody. I’m not big on dropping names, but he’s the third highest contributor on the * ROMP * group on Flickr. #12 last week’s one trick pony got nothing on his single trick, and is probably a better person in general than this asshole. Find anyone in his old photos and ask them about him. They’ll universally tell you that he’s an abusive, manipulative asshat. Wonder how long this fling will last before he discards them just like he discarded everyone else who has been in his life.
