honestly, i think people need to look at their own lives before other peoples.
also, the sunglo stuff.. i do not know who she is but, instead of posting convos, just say, “she was dealt with”, then mute her, and ban her. end of story.
faithful customers will not care what she has to say.
as for the cheaters. i think that may have been the only “secret” written and, i think many people have it wrong.
i don’t think “he” is the one cheating or better, i do not think they are complaining.
the way i read it was that they do not care because “she” was with the “poster” and not worrying about what “he” is doing.
anyway, as a fan of atomic all i can say is that i have personally never had an issue with customer service , and in the end all you can judge is how “your” experiences are, not how others are.

It’s clear to anyone that is NOT involved with this store that there is an issue here.
1. When a store has to post a disclaimer in her profile, (showing there are so many people coming for assistance you need to post a disclaimer), something is up.
2. When an update is promised for over a year and never delivered, this is proof the the lack of care for your customers. (Since the creators profile now gives another reason this update was not made *due to a mass applier being made for bodies* (that were not even in design a year ago), this is evident the lack of care here.
3. When a designer hires a manager who does not want to take the time to speak to a customer, it sums up the amount of care for the customers.
There is no debate here, the facts are facts.
A person who cares about customers and their business would resolve the issue and care enough to talk to a customer, would not be ranting and name calling and would care to update an item that was promised before one year. As far as claiming a busy RL, the store is able to create products for all these new events, maybe take the half an hour to fix what you have been promising, show your customers you do care and are a person of your word. As far as this attacking and name calling, the putting someone down for the kind of attachments they want to wear, it’s just pathetic. That is unnecessary. It shows nothing but ignorance, lack of self control, and rage.
If you care about your business and reputation you should worry about your business, not having your buddies on here acting a fool.
Are you seriously still upset about someone mentioning once that your sl avatar wears a pacifier? I think you need one in real life too because you just can’t stop crying. No one cares about one of the million issues you always seem to have. *yaaawn*
Nothing said here about a pacifier, but your comment here glitch shows your mindset. You are unwilling to discuss any of the issues that customers have. I had go through the posts to understand why a comment of a pacified even meant. You going through someones Flickr and insulting someone over a photo of someone sums up just how sad you are. Customers want to discuss the issues here not listen to you attack people, maybe you feel better attacking people but why not act like an adult and treat people with some respect.

Gotta love seeing these designers and managers trying to defend themselves by acting like complete fools. No matter what the issue, the way you bully people, talk down to them, dismiss them, threaten that all stores will ban a customer, trash someone’s blog and Flickr because a customer is dissatisfied with how you treat them when asking for help is just embarrassing. This is called bullying. We all sit back and laugh while you prove exactly the mentality and reason so many people think you are terrible. Maybe the day is coming that this nasty little group who try to rule SL with bullying and hate finally collapse. Stranger things have happened, in the mean time thanks for the entertainment.

And that “one” costumer isn’t that popular, that people would care about the flickrstream or blog where you can see the same on other blogs as well.
then you are not reading the comments. Name calling, talking crap about Flickr photos, mocking a blog. A customer speaks out about her experience, the response by the shop and her little group of alts and friends is surely entertaining but shows exactly why the customers are unhappy. The attitude, anger problem and attacking shows the issue here. Resolving the matter in an adult way would be the smart way for a business to conduct itself. Not acting like an apes. The same group that has been called out over and over and responses from them proves that so many people can’t be wrong. It certainly makes SL Secrets entertaining for the rest of us who sit back laughing.

Yeah except the only person here whose behavior comes even slightly close to bullying is the customer. Which in fact is less like bullying and more like a psychotic rant.
This is going to be my last comment regarding this matter. If you fail to read a profile where questions are already answered I’m not going to sit here and explain something that’s already been answered, I will direct you to what should have been read in the first place. I’m here to answer questions, not hold a conversation. Even if I were to hold a conversation, why would it be with someone who proved already that they’re not paying enough attention? If you have a question that has not been answered do expect a reply. If you’re nice, I’m nice back. If you’re rude, don’t expect any kindness. Few things I’ll point out before I’m done here. 1. Product works for exactly what it’s made for. 2. Person was never ignored by Ivy. Ivy was away for a week, as it stated in her profile. Any questions during that time were to be directed to me. I never received a notecard until the moment I replied. 3. RL issues happen. Not everyone lives their life through sl, RL will always come first. Clients were never ignored but if you went to Ivy while she was away of course don’t expect an immediate answer, especially when it states in the profile she’s away for the week and will only be able to answer AFTER and to keep in mind messages will be capped during that time. You bought an applier for a different product than the one you wanted it for because you absolutely fail at reading.
When someone pointed out something to you that was blatantly obvious, you got upset because didn’t kiss your feet and apologize for YOUR mistake.
Instead of admitting this, you blame others and attempt to drag a wonderful store’s name through the mud in a childish tantrum.
From the things I’ve hear and seen about you, this is definitely not the first time you’ve done this.
Since you obviously have no good reason to fight, you argue and argue until they finally lose their patience. Then you use this as an excuse to rant about “bad customer service”
Stop trying to mislead people into thinking that Atomic’s appliers don’t work. They work perfectly for the product that it’s intended to be used on. Thats like buying a shirt and crying that they cant be worn as pants.
I honestly feel so bad for you right now. You are completly delusional and I hope you are able to grow out of that one day. Untill then, I would suggest you stay off sl for the sake of your own mental health.

I had a similar issue with the same store in photo #1. The bigger issue here is how some creators treat their own customers. When a creator has to put a disclaimer up clearly this is an issue that enough people feel mislead and updating the product in a timely matter would be the reasonable solution. Being dismissed when trying to get assistance is never ok. If I went for help for weeks and the manager could not even simply greet me and sent a snapshot of some small print scrolled down on a designers profile pic, I would feel slighted too. That is NOT customer service. Imagine going to Macy’s counter waiting for weeks, not even a hello, bring pointed to some small print of a sign and dismissed. I have spoke to the person who submitted the issue since I had similar problem maybe 11 months ago and still waiting for this update and know the actual whole situation not parts that were posted in comments here. It’s nice to see customers speaking out for a change. We all know how the attitudes can be with some designers. The reaction of the manager and store owner really sums it up. You should be able to constructively take criticism from someone’s experience that shops in your store, not trolling and attacking. Use it to better how your business is run. Perhaps speaking to your customers, sending out the update that has been in the works for a year. You have the time to create new products for popular events, there should be a care about custoner service as well. It’s such good ethics.
How can it take 11 months to do an update? I think it would be nice if the creator explained the situation generally and not for this to be tit/tat between the two frustrated parties.
Will there ever be an update? if not perhaps it’s time to just state that and let customers go elsewhere for their items?
Or if there is a real problem with the update telling people might help them understand at least and make their purchasing decisions based on the facts.
I haven’t been waiting for this update thankfully but I would also be a bit put out if something was taking so long without explanation, it just turns sentiment negative versus positive.
I’ve been in plenty of skype calls with Dixxie, Britain, and the rest of the Kennedy’s and they don’t gossip anymore than the rest of you fucking hens. If you’re going to sit there and exclaim oh I’ve got this white collar attitude and persona going on in second life and I’ve never said anything bad, gossiped, made remarks, etc. You’re 100% in fucking denial and a liar. Who gives two fucks if they want to be the rich family of sl, throw K’s up on chairs, walls, etc. I’d stick a letter on a hot pile of shit if it made it look better. And lets be real here…. over 80% of you if not more aren’t what you make your SL out to be in RL either. And for the god damn record even if Dixxie had a dick, I’d still suck it because bitch be funny as hell.
NO ONE gives any fucks, that’s why we’re all sitting here laughing our asses off that someone finally had the balls to say what 90% of us were thinking already.

Customers in SL are some of the worst because they take whatever avenue they feel like to contact the creator, and expect an immediate response. Many creators have a system in place in order to stay organized and be able to attend to every customer. Sometimes creators request notecards only, other times they request that you contact their customer service rep. However, the customers always think they know best and instead of following basic instructions they will leave their inquiries/complaints in places such as: SL instant message, TPing to creator in their sim work area and typing, SL profiles, Flickr comments, Flickr mail, facebook mail, etc etc. This completely destroys the creators organized system of SERVING YOU. The creator may overlook your message because they are expecting them to come through via a notecard, their CSR, etc. Of course, after deliberately choosing not to comply with the designers request, the customers then bitch and moan when they weren’t responded to and tell all of their friends how the creator ignores their customers. In reality, this type of behavior is akin to trying to visit a friend, showing up at the wrong address, and then getting mad at your friend for not answering the door. I don’t care if you gave a creator your 10 cents, it is YOUR responsibility to be courteous and respectful and understand that these people are not corporations with a customer service center in India waiting hand and knee to help you.
everytime i have screwed up a purchase (made a double purchase usually, all my fault) i will send the creator a very nice polite card explaining the situation, giving them my purchasing information and they always send me my money back, sometimes even with a note thanking me for visiting their store. i think it’s all about how you approach them. the customer may always be ‘right’ but it doesn’t mean they have to be a twat … if i were a creator and was treated like shit i’d be so frustrated. which is why i am not a creator (that and i suck at anything but stringing two prims together).
The problem is that the customer is not *always* right. Sometimes, it’s an error in the product or its label on the creator side, but other times it is user error on their part and the customer doesn’t claim any responsibility. (e.g. they buy a black version instead of a red version; or a female product instead of a male product; or they make a mistake with gifting on the marketplace – is it really that difficult to say “oops, I may have messed up”?).
Stuff happens and 9 times out of 10 I will refund or send them the correct product, but if that person is a dick about it I’m less likely to feel sympathetic. As someone already said, many customers approach delivery and other errors as if the creator is cheating or scamming them when, in fact, it’s because the vendor server’s sim was down for a rolling restart or lag or something else random happened.
If the applier debacle happened to me, I’d just refund her money for the applier because there’s just no point in wasting time and energy to deal with someone like that. Hell, if she’d only bought one skin from me I’d probably even refund that and hope she never shops at my store again lol.
Long story short: being respectful, polite, and patient goes a long way – in both worlds
If you are aware of the entire truth of the situation you would know the customer sent multiple notecards kindly asking for help and contacted the manager in a respectable manner as well. The manager refused to even speak a word. Anyone can post part of a story and have a band wagon of friends jump to her defense. This issue has been ongoing for a year with so many others having the same interaction that the creator had to put a disclaimer. Her profile states that the product does not work and is making an update (for a year). A customer should be happy that they are ignored and the manager can not even speak a word or even greet someone? This is simple human decency here and the few things posted to try to defend a creator/store managers action is not showing the full story. This is not a case where a customer simply attacked a creator. That just makes zero sense. There should be some accountability with customer service here.

Try is Part of the mean girl designer club, feeling superior because she knows how to sit behind a computer and create something pretty. This SL celebrity crap needs to end. Being able to create a product is a nice skill but does not make someone a decent human. The secrets this week show a lot of this behavior and it has been a topic for years, not a surprise the other store finally being called out this week runs in the same circle. Most fear speaking out due to notoriety of this group, nice to see real people standing up.
Tyr was acting like that before she even started making things. Just one of those people who thinks they’re better than everyone else.

#3- When he’s not playing his alt…he’s with her on his main. If she means so little to him, why doesn’t he just ditch her and be with you on his main? #3 – Maybe she knows about it and doesn’t care? Maybe they’re swingers? How do you know she is sitting around waiting for him? A dot on a sim doesn’t give you a name. Like Nobody said, you’re at most #2 and probably lower than that. She has been with him for years, can the same be said for you?
Being with someone for ‘years’ doesn’t mean one or both wouldn’t stray, let’s face it, this is SL after all, it’s a candy store open 24/7. Saying ‘I love you’ and being monogamous don’t necessarily walk the same path.
If one uses an alt to be with others in SL the previous comment from Nobody says that is cheating. What if they have RL partners too? Does that change the rules of cheating in that it only apply to SL?
Depends on the RL partner and how they feel, I think. Some would think it is cheating and others do not.
How many RL partners not playing SL themselves are happily aware their significant other is having a sexual relationship in-world? I’ll wager the number is negligible! You’re first response to this secret is to initially agree with the previous poster (Nobody). You then choose to isolate the secret poster as being the culprit of the duo because the main accounts have been together for years which, I assume, means you must know them well. However, let me point out that it takes two to cheat! Your last comment is merely sitting on the fence, not wishing to bring about a barrage of criticism perhaps?
Cheating is cheating and it doesn’t matter which way it crosses the SL/RL ravine; if all three are married then all three are douche bags! I know if I found my partner had been engaged in such, I’d be very upset. This form of cheating is perhaps one of the worst kinds because it involves mental effort to engage in the activity because the physical satisfaction cannot be achieved quite the way it can be through the actual act.
I find it amusing that you all are sitting here nitpicking and analyzing the details of someone else’s relationship. Are these people that interesting where we need a detailed analysis of the dynamics of their relationship?

When a secret is posted it invites comments whatever form they may take. If you, as moderator, okay those comments then they are displayed for viewing and may in turn attract responses. However, whatever opinion is offered whether nitpicking, analyzing or just plain uninteresting to you, I see no reason to allow publication simply for a moderator be able to make contrary remarks. Oh wait … that wouldn’t be freedom of speech either!
@Muses – I think what Lourdes was rhetorically asking was why is that relationship so interesting that it needs to be on this site and a topic of discussion so frequently. There are a lot of relationships that don’t show up in secrets, why makes this one and these people so special?
Why this topic seems to be posted so frequently as opposed to any other relationships in SL is neither here nor there, the fact is; it is and therefore open to comment(s) and response(s) ad hoc. To reiterate, the power to refuse a submission lies with the moderator if they so choose.
It was not a lack of understanding of Lourdes’ post but by adding question marks a response is invited, therefore it was not a rhetorical remark.
However, this topic has exhausted itself but I shall continue to view and comment on future secrets, if deemed interesting enough.

Whoever wrote #4 you gave several of us a great laugh. To bad Britain Knave doesn’t show her true colors to the people whose asses she kisses to social climb to the higher ladders of second life. She only wishes she could be a real life Kennedy.

Well, that is how ‘kids community’ works. Someone get busted doing something horrible then abandoned (or leave the community themselves). And a while later they are back in the community as if there was nothing happened. You can think some names for this, right? It is so boring and at same time, so funny to see this happens again and again.

As for the rich, snobby, holier than thou attitude it quite possibly can be an assumption on those who aren’t close to her, as I am sure those people would see something good in her or it’s just a role in a role playing game or I could be completely wrong.
What creations? She can decorate a room in second life. When she are furniture, it was all with prefabs she cN not actually build anything from scratch. I have friends who were in her “family” she is as horrid as all the hype. She really needs to think about how she treats others, it’s very sad.

Either way secrets 1 and 6 are the rants of an entitled and immature woman and should be ignored as such.
6. Customers don’t have a right to treat creators like shit just because you (the collective you) spent less than a dollar on some virtual product that you’ve got a bee in your bonnet about. Instead you could try being a polite person and asking nicely, and treating another human with a modicum of respect and kindness, creators get treated like scammers and thieves, and there is a level of entitlement I’m seeing with customers of late, screaming and cussing out creators because they didn’t read picks or signs or misunderstood something.
As someone who has been asked stupid questions about events/hunts that I run I can tell you that sometimes it’s better to ignore someone for a bit and wait to IM them than do it in a pissy mood. Sometimes I feel like telling people “you are stupid as hell, read what I wrote in the notecard or put on the ad!” or “read what I put on the blog!”. Frankly the customer is NOT always right, that is a marketing technique and ploy to make people feel self important. Should people treat their customers well? Yes but that doesn’t mean your customers are always gods or even intelligent enough to use your product (I’m sure big designers like truth have been asked on how to open a box or wear their hair before). It’s irritating but it’s whatever, people do get their ims capped or forget to respond then log and lose the IM. If I want it fixed badly enough I will bother them till I get a reply, usually it’s not worth the hassle. I do have micro bone to pick with a certain skin maker, I love the skin I bought from them but I kindly informed them of the really terrible seams they had on their appliers and they said they’d fix it eventually in the future. Thats funny, since its not factual. Ignoring customers, unwilling to even speak to them and sending a snapshot of the creators profile claiming the item doesn’t work. Selling something as Lolas Tango applier that doesn’t work for the item that has been around about a year called ” LOLAS TANGO” Deliq and promising a fix for nearly a year without doing it is NOT customer service. Speaking to customers goes far, you should try it sometime Cellulite. Its sad day when the creators friend has to contact people claiming the person has RL issues going on to try to excuse the REALITY of the situation. It’s nice having friends but this SL Celebrity crap and attitudes has gone way too far. Since when is customer service sending a link of a profile claiming they know the product doesn’t work. Every other skin store has appliers that work selling them as lola tango appliers and managers that actually speak to a customer asking for help and saying PLEASE. The number of others who had the same issue and were told the item would be fixed is amazing, nearly a year long issue being told they would get a WORKING copy via a re-delivery terminal that also does not work and was also politely addressed with no response either. If you had read the ad you would have known from the start that there were no appliers for your Lolas. You knew good and damn well that Tangos and Tangos Deliq are 2 different items.
So because you are illiterate you want the store owner to bow and scrape and be nice to you. I would have just told you to learn2read and moved on. But then again that is why I make sure to stay way from any job that requires customer contact. LoL
As for the rest; Ok people this is SL we are dealing with. If after all your time in SL you still expect to get the level of customer service that you get from multimillion dollar RL corporations you are crazy. I tried to comment on your blog Sunglo but apparently you didn’t accept it. The vendor says “Lolas Tango”. Lolas Tango and the new Deliq are COMPLETELY different. Tango came before Deliq. So most people would gather that is for the original Tango and not Deliq. So the problem here is that YOU made an assumption and you turned out to be wrong.

Dear Sunglo. For once, outside of your IMs this is “Cellulite” speaking. In my profile it states that if an answer to a question is already in my profile I won’t respond. It’s one of the first things that you should see when you pulled up my name to send me an IM and a notecard. Still… I responded with a screen shot pointing out the answer to your question. I didn’t realize you were so desperate for a conversation to throw such a tantrum that’s been going on for what? 2 days now? Because you failed to read a vendor and then check a profile on information on the product that you’ve purchased. Seriously, there’s such a thing as FAQ’s that some designers have a decency to throw up in either a profile or a website. Your failure to read is what caused the issue on the tango appliers to begin with. You were nasty, and rude, did you think you’d have your way after being such a twat? Threatening to call linden labs as if appliers were a requirement. Guess what sweetheart, they’re not. The redelivery terminal is fully functional. No it isn’t. Be respectful and read profiles before contacting creators or their CSRs. Shop owners have instructions for customers in their profile for a reason. You are trying to turn creators into call center representatives. That is not their specialty. Bypassing their profile, shoving past everyone else in line, and kicking and batting your little fists is not only incredibly rude.. it’s ignorant. The information is there for you to get the help you need. Thinking you know better and can over ride whatever you wish results in you being, well, ignored.

Glitch. Let’s be honest here. When contacted asking for help with words as please and thank you, you said NOTHING. That is a fact. Your response was pasting a link of a profile. That is your customer service and management skills for your friends store. That is the entire point here. Twisting things and pasting portions of the situation may help you feel better but the truth of the situation still remains. As you said, when you treat people with respect you get that back. It’s really just that simple.
I completely stand behind your comments. Customers seem to believe they are a stores ONLY customer. They fail to realize that creators get bombarded with the same fucking questions over and over, and frankly it is time consuming to sit there and answer them. Take 3 minutes to read a designers/CSRs profile prior to messaging them and you will go a long way.

Ok, the creator is busy and hires a manager to speak to customers for them, SPEAK to customers, this means greeting customers and trying to help. Not posting a photo of a profile. The reality is the manager and creator created this situation by refusing to simply speak to her. The issue is not about the applier, well it wasn’t until a customer spoke out publically and now there are dozens of others who were told they would also get an update over a year ago and feel the designer does not care about her customers. The issue was with treating customers poorly. Any manager running at the mouth, talking half truths, degrading people, name calling making comments of customers photos on Flickr showing hate and bullying because they are unhappy with your service…. Just EWWWW. You clearly are not capable of being a manager or speaking with consumers.

Your problem is, is that you don’t realize that sl creators are not corporations, they are people. People have RL issues, and if you don’t get a reply within a week, deal with it. You’d be lucky to get a reply from some RL companies within a month. The problem with entitled SL customers is that you expect everything you want NOW, and get bitchy when everything isn’t handed to you on a silver plater.
And I really don’t get the relevance of the applier not being out for your particular brand of boobs? Like it’s a cardinal sin not to have an applier out for a particular item? There isn’t a contract where skin creators have to sign to have new appliers out and ready in a moments notice. She doesn’t even have to make them at all. Hell, loads of skin stores only offer the basic appliers, like Amitomo, i’m not going to IM her to bash her because i’m an entitled bitch who must be able to wear her pixel tits!

I have no knowledge of this particular situation but as a consumer and creator, you can’t dismiss people with “RL issues” because real money is being handled and if you can take the money there should be some responsibility and accountability of the creator to have their item, working. If your rl issues that overwhelming where you can’t fix your product then don’t sell it,simple as that.
The problem wasn’t there RL issues stopped any conversation, it simply delayed it. There’s a difference between not getting any response at all because of rl issue, and it being delayed by a mere week.
That would be ok if that was the case here. We all have real lives and things that come up. This was not a one week situation, it was weeks. Actually over a year that this update had been promised. Check ivy’s profile, now making excuses about why the update was never made. This basically reinforces the reason this issue exists at all. The update has been promised for a year, customers feel insignificant. The manager can not bother to speak to a shopper. Nothing condones this managers behavior, just in her posts her look at how she portrays herself just on this site, like a raging animal and a mean girl. There is a small group of creators with huge ego’s and treat customers poor. enough said.
If a store doesn’t make applier for your fav skin for over several months just skip it and go search for a skin store that offers appliers for the mesh parts you need and that’s it! Bottom part Lolas’ designer made the Deliq Uvs not same as lolas so why because of one mesh product 200 skin designers have to work their ass off to conform to her boobs? wtf go scream to boobs creator coz in a few moths who knows she will release other boobs and again something in UVs be different!!
