It baffles me as to why such care is put into these secrets on a weekly basis only to hurt individuals. As to the people creating the ones regarding Cheeky Pea…give it a rest. You’re not helpful to the situation at all, you’re exacerbating it which is precisely what you intend to do out of hate, jealousy, and greed masked behind a moral compass. In fact, any person that has stepped out and publicly attacked her for whatever she’s done wrong has been someone she has helped in the past and you should be ashamed of yourselves for trying to ruin business for her to benefit your own. I personally have found all parties to be tactless and dishonorable no matter what you think you’re accomplishing. If everyone cares so much about her daughter, remember that every time you slander someones business, that may or may not take money out of their pockets and ultimately that income goes to support her daughter despite anything you think she’s lied about. So, you’re just taking away from a little girl. Good job you level headed adults concerned about copyright issues, you go. It’s not something I’d be proud of and or concerned about, just do you and don’t worry about her. There is no reason for your petty attempts to continue.

I think people’s issue with you Candid, and I don’t have a pony in this race, is you were proactively bating people by your statements and refusing to read simple evidence that would have made you realize looking at the actual sites in question that you were wrong. Commercial businesses selling fabrics do not sell licenses to their website. It’s not in their domain and their site clearly tells you their images cannot be used. This is not a texture website, an artist site or something that even supports third party content. It would be the same as ripping a texture from Macy’s website and using it as your own. You then stated you knew more about copyright and resorted to name calling other posters here. I think people therefore are calling you out as to your approach agenda and objective here. It seems skewed and rather unusual. I am a neutral party but I think if you want to be taken seriously on your comments you need to say who you are and provide the people here the name of your store. Otherwise, I sadly tend to agree what is posted above. You seem to be trying to bully or hurt somebody with the strange comments you are making. Hmm well first I don’t have an inworld business and have not had one for some years. When I did I experienced bullying from a competitor who started a witch hunt and spread lies. I have also seen it happen to others in this site, like the time everyone ganged up on Danny Bourne, I have seen it over and over. So I do not judge or make decision based on heresay, which so far is all that this site has been able to muster. Not one bit of evidence has been produced. Cheeky Pea is a big name store and would have worked hard for their name and their business and before you drag it through the mud and slander them I’d like proof.

I mean, good job on that unfaltering loyalty to someone with no qualms about stealing fabric patterns off the internet, since 2011. Go check out the Dandelion Clocks set from SUYS back in 2011, where she used a Marimekko pattern on the cushions. In the entire time she’s been churning out her stuff, I doubt she’s actually paid for or licensed a single texture.

None of us know what you do the rest of the week – volunteer at a soup kitchen or join a group of bullies – but we do know that you just spent a few minutes of your day trying to encourage and enlighten people who spend THEIR week bullying and encouraging bullies. So for that alone I’d say you’re doing better.
I wish these people could step away from this and go see the things you mentioned, gain some perspective on what’s really important in the world, but sadly they’re not going to just because someone else suggests it. It’ll have to be a life change for them, and all we can do is hope it comes soon, and make sure we don’t get sucked into it ourselves.

Anyone that has found themselves attacked on here should seek legal actions against this site for posting such garbage and contact your local Police to report online bullying. This site owner should be fined. If they are prosecuting children and holding them responsible then surely adults will have no problem being convicted. Most of this IS bullying, and nothing will be done about it unless someone kills themselves as a result. That’s the cold hard truth. It still takes something that extreme for this to be taken seriously, especially on an international scale like this (if everyone were in the same country it’d be slightly easier). Well because it’s a website selling products not “textures” for artists. If you check, you will see their site and images are covered by copyright. The use that Isla is applying them to is not fair use and commercial in nature. That should be sufficient proof for anybody with a pea for a brain (ha, see what I did there).

Ok spoonflower sells printed fabric and items. they are NOT a graphics site. so the fact that she uses them is theft. If you actually looked at the site you would know. All you need to do is print screen and cut the image out and it’s useable. they tried to make if not right click save but she still can get them apparently. they really need to put a watermark on things. least she has to work for it.
