Welcome to the new website! This post is an overview of the new site and the features it has to make it a little more interactive.

First let’s go over the rules. Per the SCD poll you all wanted “Balls out and in the wind”.

I originally was just going to keep the rules the same but with this poll I realized you all want less moderation. That’s fine. I’m going with a happy medium. The poster of the secrets (Lourdes or me or anyone who will cover for us while on vacation/having a life) will have full moderation over what is posted and what isn’t. No real life pictures of people will be posted, that’s ridiculous. STOP UPLOADING THAT STUFF! Secrets will not be removed. This is an exercise in learning to ignore the drama and pretend it isn’t about you.

On each post there will be a LOVE IT/HATE IT button to click. At the end of the year we’ll highlight the most liked and most hated weeks of secrets.

On each comment there is a thumbs up/thumbs down icon (similar to YouTube). You can thumb up/thumb down specific comments. I might can get stats on the comments, I haven’t gone over the code enough to know. But if I can you bet there will be a highlight at the end of the year.

SLSecret’s has a Facebook, Twitter, and Plurk account. Like it, Follow it, Friend/Fan it. (I kept the SCD plurk acct)

Here’s where you will upload your virtual-secrets.

We have the usual policies: disclosure and privacy. They’ve not really changed – just copied over from SCD.

We have the Archives available – they are image heavy and take a while to load but it’s a trip down memory lane. 2014 is coming soon.
